Ninety-five Buddhist Meditation (II) (for the alliance leader Zhu Yueyue added here)
The strength of these body refining monks is often very large, and the ability to resist blows is extremely strong, such as the golden bell cover iron cloth shirt and other "invulnerable" hard qigong is a must for these Buddhist monks. The pen "Fun" Pavilion www.biquge.info ordinary weapons in the mortal world can't hurt them at all, even the monks' spells and talismans, if they are not of particularly good quality, it is generally difficult to get them.
The Buddhist disciples of this period were collectively referred to as "monks".
Just like the Taoist Dharma Yuan period, Buddhist monks who reach a certain level will also face a rather difficult level, and they will also have to go through many tribulations, and their difficulties are even worse than those of the Daomen, which are the three calamities, while the Buddhists have eight tribulations. But after the pass, you can also be reborn and get rid of the mortal body. This process is known in Buddhism as "attaining the status of arhats", and the Buddhist practices of this period are called "arhats", or simply arhats.
The mana in the body of the Fa Yuan Monk will gradually condense into the Fa Yuan Golden Liquid, and eventually replace the blood to fill the whole body. The same is true for Buddhas who have attained the Arhat Fruit Status, but their mana is directly condensed on the skin of the body and gradually transformed into the body. As an arhat's mana becomes more and more profound, his entire body will slowly turn red and gold. In the end, he was transformed into a "Golden Arhat", and his strength was similar to that of the Jindan monk of the Daomen.
In this period, Buddhism mainly began to turn to the cultivation of the soul in the direction of thinking, but unlike Taoism, which focuses on the soul of the Yuanshen, the soul cultivation of Buddhism pays more attention to its inner thoughts, the sublimation of life philosophy. The ultimate goal is to be freed from all the troubles and foolish thoughts of the world, so that one can attain complete spiritual enlightenment. The practice of Buddha who is able to attain this level is called "bodhisattva", or bodhisattva for short.
And above the Bodhisattva, there is the Buddha, who is a more majestic and transcendent existence than the Bodhisattva. Bodhisattvas simply liberate themselves from the troubles of the world, while the Buddha not only saves himself, but also saves others—the ultimate goal of every Buddhist monk's ascetic cultivation is to become a Buddha.
According to Buddhism, the Bodhisattva of Light is already a more powerful being than the Great Monk of the Yuan Infant, let alone the Buddha. The Buddha is omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent. But this view is not recognized in the immortal cultivation world - the key is that Buddhism has been transmitted to this Divine Continent for thousands of years, and there has never really been a Bodhisattva-level cultivator, let alone a Buddha. The strongest among the Buddhist monks is like several golden-bodied Arhats in today's Zen monastery. There is no real power system that has never really appeared, and it is useless to just blow it with mouth cannon - Taoism claims that there is a so-called return to the void above the Yuan Infant and the transformation of the gods, who has ever seen it?
Therefore, there is another legend in Buddhism, saying that the Buddhist teachings that have been transmitted to this Shenzhou continent are Hinayana teachings, and they can only be cultivated to Arhats at most. The Mahayana teachings that can really help people become Buddhas have not been transmitted, and they are still preserved in the birthplace of Buddhism, on a certain continent in the Western Regions.
For thousands of years, there have been countless Buddhist monks who have attempted to travel west to learn the scriptures, but so far they have not succeeded - Huang Chang couldn't help but secretly wonder when he heard this legend, is it because of the lack of a monkey and a pig to protect the relationship, which will lead to repeated failures in learning the scriptures?
............
In any case, the teachings of Buddhism and the Buddhist monks now have a place in the immortal cultivation realm of the Shenzhou Continent. And Changqingzi's visit this time, of course, is not just as simple as visiting old friends. Since he is the head of the Western Kunlun Sect, it is only natural that the personal friendship between Changqingzi and the bitter truth, who is now the abbot of the Heavenly Chan Temple, has been transformed into a friendly relationship between the two immortal sects. The Taoist Xianmen on the Shenzhou continent have always been eclectic, and they are not exclusive to Buddhist scriptures. In particular, the alchemy of Buddhism is quite unique. Changqingzi brought Wu Daniu here this time, precisely to make some progress in these aspects.
Of course, there are still great differences between the Taoist exercises in West Kunlun and the Buddhist cultivation methods of the Tianchan Academy, unlike the same origin and sect between Qishan and Kunlun, the exercises practiced by the two schools are also similar, just leave the disciples directly - even if Wu Daniu is trained here, he is still a disciple of the Taoist family in Kunlun, and it is impossible to run to practice Buddhist exercises. He himself didn't understand this aspect, so among the exercises that the Heavenly Zen Academy was willing to share, Changqingzi had to first make choices and trade-offs, judging which ones could be cultivated with the Kunlun Exercises and play a strengthening role, and which ones might cause conflicts, so he had to avoid them as much as possible.
In addition, he also had to provide some Kunlun exercises to the Tianchan Monastery in exchange, and agreed on the details of the exchange of disciples in the future - being able to train disciples on each other's behalf is not an ordinary relationship in the world's immortal sects. For example, between West Kunlun and East Qishan, the alliance between these two factions is definitely far closer than the outside world imagined. Now Changqingzi is obviously trying to move the relationship between West Kunlun and Tianchan Monastery in this direction.
Even if they don't reach the point where they are almost one like the Qishan Sect in the end, the two sects with Yuanying-level strength can communicate with each other, watch and help each other, especially if they adopt a common attitude and the same pace in many major matters, it will also be a great event in the Divine Immortal Cultivation Realm.
Of course, this kind of thing can't be decided by the two of them alone, Changqingzi must have obtained the permission of most of the seniors in the Three Saints and Twelve Golden Immortals of West Kunlun before coming over, and even negotiated with the allies of Qishan's "Three Ying, Four Swords, and One White Eyebrow". And the truth of suffering has also been reported to the golden-bodied Arhat elders in the Zen monastery who practice penance all year round and basically don't ask about foreign affairs. If they are free, Changqingzi will visit them one by one to show kindness.
The leaders of the two factions did not hide these exchanges very secretly, and sometimes even Huang Chang could hear some conversations on the side. As a mortal who doesn't have any mana at the moment, being able to witness the negotiation that is almost the highest level in this immortal cultivation world often makes Huang Chang have a very wonderful feeling. I felt as if I was watching the birth of a major piece of history, as if I had watched those historical documentaries in my previous life, and now he is experiencing it himself!
Maybe Changqingzi himself didn't realize that what he did today had any special significance, but he just wanted to make more friends for Xi Kunlun and make fewer enemies. However, based on the insights of his previous life, Huang Chang can fully deduce what the consequences of such a strategy will be—if this kind of alliance model is promoted, it is very likely that a fairy version of the United Nations or the League of Nations and other organizations will be produced in the future! At least one principle of "unity of the great powers" can be established.
