25. The Quick Method (I)

Unconsciously, Huang Chang and others had been on the West Kunlun Mountain for half a year. In the past six months www.biquge.info everyone has worked hard to practice the internal skills handed down by the sect every day, including all kinds of physical fitness methods, and they have also followed one by one, hoping to reach the level where they can learn Taoist techniques as soon as possible.

The Tunagong method passed down by the sect is quite clever, and the conditions on the mountain are also excellent, and everyone's cultivation progress is very fast. However, according to those fellow disciples who have cultivated internal strength, if they go on like this, they will only be three or five times faster than ordinary martial arts people at most, and they may be able to reach the innate cycle of Zhou Tian's hundred veins within ten years, that is, the standard of learning the magic of cultivating immortals, but the so-called "100 days to build a foundation" is obviously unrealistic.

Think about it, too--those things that ordinary martial arts people need to spend almost half of their lives to do, can they be completed in a mere hundred days when they get to the mountain? Even if it is the secret method of the Immortal Family, it can't be so fast, right? These children went up to the Immortal Mountain and worshiped the Immortal Gate, but after all, they are still just ordinary people in their bones, even if they learn spells in the future and enter the Qi Refining Period, they will still be mortal in the flesh after all. It's just that with a different environment, can you really soar into the sky?

Huang Chang doesn't believe in this - he is still a standard science student in his bones, and he only believes in everything that has logic and can be deduced. Although he has indeed seen many incredible miracles since he went up the mountain, including the pine tree of the trail boy Qingsong, Huang Chang feels that he still has the most say in his own physical condition.

At least so far, although the qi in his stomach was much stronger than before, he could only linger near the dantian, and it was still far from what those senior brothers who had learned internal skills said that he could circulate within the chest and abdomen, not to mention that all the meridians of the whole body required by the sect were opened. Huang Chang estimated that he might not be called a cultivation genius, at this pace, it is difficult to say what level he can reach in ten or eight years, at least in 100 days, it is impossible to make much progress.

The progress of the others is fast and slow, but in general, as long as they have not practiced internal skills before, they are generally not much similar to him. It shows that normal people are at this level, and Huang Chang is not lagging behind others. And this also made him more and more curious - since this batch is like this, it means that the people who came up to the mountain before are almost the same, so how sure can the sect dare to say that it can make people "build a foundation in a hundred days"?

Huang Chang once found an opportunity to mention this matter to Senior Brother Mu, and half-jokingly said that at the beginning, Senior Brother, you promised us that as long as we practice according to the requirements of the sect, we can complete the foundation building in 100 days, but now it has been more than half a year, and it seems that there is no progress? But Mu Ziqing replied with a smile and replied that he should not worry, you have not started at all.

Huang Chang didn't quite understand what this meant, but soon, he knew.

After everyone had been to Zixiao Palace once and understood how their future path of cultivation should be—and at the same time, they had also passed the judgment of the Master Master. Mu Ziqing and Chen Xiangrong finally gathered everyone together and told these new disciples some basic knowledge about cultivating the Immortal Dao. At the same time, he also told everyone how the sect would quickly build a foundation for them.

According to the Xianmen: man is the spirit of all things, born with the yin and yang of heaven and earth, with a breath of innate qi in the womb, and the whole body is secretly in line with the way of heaven, so all the spirits and all things in the world are the easiest to cultivate with the human body. Other birds, beasts, insects, fish, plants, trees, spirits, and monsters, if they want to become immortals, most of them must first cultivate their human bodies, so that it is easier to continue on the road of cultivating immortals.

It's just that once a person is born, he will be included in the rules of heaven and earth, and according to the rules of the heavenly cycle, he will enter the cycle of birth, old age, sickness and death. His state of mind will become more and more obsessed with the desires of the world, and his body will also be invaded by all kinds of yin and evil qi in heaven and earth. The innate qi that was born with it will slowly dissipate, and the meridians and points around the body will become increasingly blocked and closed. Therefore, children are generally smart and lively, diligent and inquisitive, and have strong receptivity. When he was old, he was riddled with diseases, slow to react, and no longer interested in things, until finally his vitality was completely cut off and turned into a handful of loess.

And the path taken by immortal cultivators is to rebel against this heavenly path and refuse to re-enter reincarnation. Therefore, it is said that "Shun Fan rebels against immortals": they refuse to follow the rules of heaven and earth, birth, old age, sickness and death, and guide the aura of heaven and earth into themselves through cultivation, hoping to change themselves for as long as heaven and earth. From a physical point of view, of course, the sooner you cultivate, the better. The child's body is not yet finalized, the innate qi in the body is more complete, and the meridian blood is also purer, which is easier to temper and change. But from the point of view of learning and understanding, it is not possible to be too young to be too young - after all, the monastic method is quite a complex thing, which is difficult for ordinary adults to understand, and children have poor self-control and cannot sit still for a moment. If a child who is too young directly tries to guide the aura of heaven and earth into the body, there is a chance that he will run wrong and go wrong. And once this kind of thing happens, it is still a very loose evaluation of nine deaths and one life.

Therefore, how to find a balance between physical condition and comprehension ability is the first issue that the major immortal sects should pay attention to when teaching their disciples' methods. Xi Kunlun set the upper limit of this threshold time at sixteen years old. After this age, the innate qi in the body has been completely lost, and the meridians are almost completely occluded, so it is not suitable for cultivation anymore - this is also because of the profound heritage of West Kunlun, the various exercises in the sect are intact, and the requirements for innate physical fitness are not too high. Other sects in the world have lower requirements for their disciples due to their lack of exercises and teaching ability, and of course, their requirements for talent are even higher.

After deducting the preparation time of one year after going up the mountain, this is the reason why Xi Kunlun limited the apprenticeship year to fifteen years old. After going up the mountain, he first practiced qigong instead of directly teaching the method, because qigong, like the Taoist method, requires the use of meridian circulation in the body. The first use of qigong to dredge the meridians is to prevent mistakes in the practice of gong, and the internal breath diverges the meridians - and this is inevitable for newcomers.

If the internal breath is wrong, you only need to calm down and slowly gather that breath back, but if you directly guide the aura mana of the surrounding heaven and earth to break through the meridians, but because the aura is extremely domineering, it is difficult for newcomers to control it, it is very likely to run rampant in the body, causing the meridians in the body to be broken and broken, not only will you not succeed in practicing the method, but you will have to worry about your life.

However, there is also a disadvantage of using internal breath qigong to break through the meridians, that is, the speed is slow and the efficiency is low. Originally, normal people cultivating Qigong internal strength need to use a stream of internal breath generated in their dantian to slowly impact the meridians in the body according to the route prescribed by the exercises, and break away the meridians that originally existed but did not penetrate bit by bit, so that they could be integrated. It is like digging a canal in ancient times, connecting several water channels that were originally disconnected from each other, so that the flow of water, that is, the internal breath, can flow unimpeded. After that, he gradually grew his breath in the reciprocating cycle, making his own skills stronger and stronger.
