Just like the horse-headed Guanyin, which can restrain the beasts and Taoist creatures, and the eleven-faced Guanyin, which can restrain the sentient beings of the Shura Dao.
In the island country, Tantra can be divided into Taimi and Eastern Tantra, and whether it is in Taimi or Dongmi, there are six Guanyin.
The Six Goddesses of Mercy refer to the six types of Goddess of Mercy with different names and different image variations, and become the six types of Goddess of Mercy that guide sentient beings in the six realms
Among them, the six Guanyin of Tiantai Sect are the Great Pessimistic Guanyin, the main one who breaks the three obstacles of the Hell Road.
This path is bitter, so it is advisable to use great compassion.

This way is hungry and thirsty, so it is advisable to use great mercy.
The lion is fearless Guanyin..The Lord breaks the three obstacles of the animal path.
This beast king is mighty, so it is advisable to use fearlessness.
The great light shines on Guanyin..The Lord breaks the three obstacles of the Asura Path.
This way is more suspicious and jealous, so it is advisable to use general illumination.
The husband of heaven and man, Guanyin, the Lord breaks the three obstacles of humanity.
It is said that humanity has things to do, and things are slow, so it is called heaven and man, and reason is to see Buddha nature, so it is called husband.
The Great Brahma Profound Guanyin..The Lord breaks the three obstacles of the Heavenly Dao.

The Eastern Secret uses the following six types of Guanyin as the saviors of the six realms.
Holy Guanyin: The Lord saves the hungry ghosts and all sentient beings;
Thousand-armed Guanyin: The Lord saves all beings in the Hell Path;
Horse-headed Guanyin: The Lord saves all living beings;
Eleven-faced Guanyin: The Lord saves all sentient beings on the Asura Path;
Zhun Ti Guanyin: The Lord saves all living beings in the world;
Ruyi Wheel Guanyin: The Lord saves all beings in the Heavenly Dao.
The Eleven-Faced Guanyin, one of the six Goddesses of Mercy of the Eastern Secret Path, provides relief to the Asura Path and provides sentient beings with the worldly benefits of eliminating diseases, eliminating sins, and increasing blessings.
In short, in order to eliminate evil and guide good, the Bodhisattva who leads sentient beings into the Buddha's path.
Eleven-faced Guanyin, a total of eleven faces, arranged in five layers.
On the one hand, the evil is affectionate, the second is benevolent, the good is affectionate, and the three sides are silent, and the world is pure.
These three sides educate the three realms, and there are nine sides.
The tenth side is a smiling face, indicating that the cause of education requires great majesty and great will in order to be impeccable and successful.
The top side is the Buddha land, and the merits are complete.
Legend has it that in the Tianbao War, Guanyin supported Luo Feng of Mengge and cast eleven statues of Guanyin before retreating from the enemy army and saving the Nanzhao Kingdom.
The eight incarnations of Guanyin are Guanyin Bodhisattva for saving suffering, Guanyin Bodhisattva for retribution, Guanyin Bodhisattva for revenge, Guanyin Bodhisattva for suffering in Nanwusheng, Guanyin for Pumen Pin, Guanyin for Yichang, Guanyin for Nanwu Lonely Coast, Guanyin for Putuo Mountain, and Guanyin for Jianguo.
Regarding the symbolic meaning of the eleven heads and faces of Guanyin, one theory thinks that the left and right sides represent the ten places of cause, and the top side represents the Buddha fruit of the eleven places, so that all sentient beings can turn into the eleven qualities and obtain the Buddha fruit of the eleven places.
In Tibetan Buddhism, there is a saying that the Rakshasa ghost has ten heads and is very arrogant, and Guanyin becomes eleven heads and submits them.
Those who hold this mantra will receive ten kinds of merit and four kinds of retribution when they appear (seeing the Buddha at the end of their life, never falling into hell, not being harmed by animals and animals, and living a lifetime of immeasurable life).
Because the mantra works like this, there is no shortage of people who recite the mantra and revere the mantra deity of the eleven-faced Guanyin throughout the ages.
According to the scriptures, the eleven-faced Avalokiteshvara received this mantra from the Hundred Lotus Eyes before the immeasurable eons of merit King Nyorai, who had no obstacles in his eyes, that is, he proved that there was no way to endure life.
If there are good men and good women, who are sincere and pure, and recite the Dharma, they will be able to connect with the compassionate wishes of Avalokiteshvara and obtain ten special benefits:
1. The body is always disease-free.
2. The Buddhas are receiving.
3. Treasures, food and clothing are endless.
Fourth, it can be fearless and fearless against the enemy.
Fifth, it can make all living beings have compassion.
Sixth, Gu poisonous ghosts cannot be slandered.
7. No sword or staff can do any harm.
8. Water cannot be drowned.
9. Fire cannot be burned.
10. Not to be subject to all death.
If you can practice according to the teachings, you will be able to eliminate serious sins, get your wishes, and accumulate immeasurable merits, which shows the great power of this mantra.
In the Lengyan Sutra, Avalokiteshvara said that the root of the ear is round and the Dharma, and that he himself had practiced the immeasurable mantra Tantra, and that he himself could manifest all kinds of dharma appearances and preach all kinds of mantras, through which he could manifest the merits of his name.
In the many aspects of Guanyin Bodhisattva, the eleven-faced Guanyin, the wishful wheel Guanyin, the non-empty suo Guanyin, etc., each of the aspects of the law and the corresponding mantra have incredible rare merits, once asked which Guanyin is the most powerful, in fact, the incarnation of Guanyin itself has enough Guanyin merits, it is equal and there is no superiority, but there is only the so-called superiority with the cause of all beings.
These special Guanyin Buddha-figures and Guanyin mantras can be seen in the public Tripitaka Sutra, from which the compassion and immeasurable merits of Guanyin Bodhisattva can be glimpsed, and in these incarnations, there is the eleven-faced Guanyin Sutra that has been passed down outside Tibet, which records the incomparably special eleven-faced Guanyin mantra.
In the previous life, the number of people who practiced the method of Guanyin was increasing day by day, but the practice of Guanyin was a huge system, and there were many practices and mantras of Guanyin, and the highest achievement was to achieve the same as Guanyin Bodhisattva through the cultivation of the Dharma, but the specific how to practice and how to practice has not been fully explained in detail.
Cultivation should be in line with one's actual desires, and what is actually what you want, that is, what are you capable of doing at the moment, how much time you have, and what is the most suitable place to practice? Many people are very blind and get moved when they see the special teachings of the Truth, thinking that they must practice it all, and those who have this kind of mind cannot practice the Truth.
Any Buddha-figure has sufficient enlightenment, just like Avalokiteshvara, not because he has many incarnations that he has scattered his immeasurable merits and incredible powers, but on the contrary, if you can correspond to one of the bodhisattva's incarnations, then all the streams of Avalokiteshvara's Dharma will be connected to you, and as long as you can take further refuge and practice, then Avalokiteshvara's sufficient merits will be applied and embodied in you.
We look at the scriptures, we will find that many Buddhist scriptures are some disciples in the Dharma due to karma to ask questions, after the question is issued, Shakyamuni Buddha will speak, there are few self-talk without asking, such as the Amitabha Sutra of the Pure Land sect is self-talk without asking.
