The Taoist sect continues VIII

Huashan Sect: The Quanzhen Dao Sect. Hao Datong, one of the seven truths of the Zunbei, is the patriarch of the opening school. Hao Datong, the word Taigu, the name Guangningzi, is the disciple of the ancestor of the Quanzhen Sect, Chongyang. Died in the first year of Jin Chongqing (1212). In the sixth year of Yuan Shizu (1269), he was awarded the title of "Guangning Tongxuan Taigu Zhenren", and in the third year of Wuzong (1310), he was crowned "Guangning Tongxuan Miao Taigu Zhenjun". There is no systematic record of the activities of this faction, and only sporadic records can be seen. Qing Chen Mingqi "The Source of Taoism in Changchun" Volume 7: Bei Benheng, the word Changji, Huaiyang people. In the seventeenth year, Liwu was Yuan Zhengyu as a teacher, and Wang Changyue of the Longmen faction was ordained. Kangxi Yihai (1695) Jiemao Wukang (Zhejiang old county, merged into Deqing in 1958) of Gaochi Mountain. Qianlong Yichou (1745), Yuhang people extended the main Dongxiao Palace. Qianlong died in the twenty-third year. He is quite accomplished in "Yi", and is the author of "Zhou Yi Shenyi" and "Huang Lao's Will". Here it is said that he is subject to the precepts of Wang Changyue of the Longmen faction and is regarded as a Taoist priest of the Longmen faction, but the fourth volume of "Golden Cover Heart Lamp" "The Biography of Shen Qingyun Lawyer" says that he is a descendant of the Huashan faction. Said: "Bei Changji, the name of Ben Heng, for the Huashan faction descendant", and Longmen Taoist Shen Qingyun friendly, Ben Heng has a disciple Li Renning, called Yunfeng, after Shen Qingyun died, "for the seal of its niche, buried in the gold of Dadi Mountain." Volume 3 "The Biography of Fan Chuyang's Lawyer" also says that Bei Benheng is a descendant of the Huashan faction, saying that he learned from Fan Taichu (No. Chuyang) and "got his purpose". "Golden Drum Cave Chronicles" also records Li Renning's incident: "Yuefeng Zhenren, that is, the world's so-called wonderful heart destined real person, surnamed Li Renning, took refuge in Changji Zhenren as a teacher." Hidden in the mountain house of Yunwo, it is so quiet, cultivating and refining life, and preparing for suffering. Sex likes to be clean, loves flowers and trees, and has been refined for 30 years. According to this, Bei Benheng is a Taoist priest of the Huashan faction, and he has also studied the Longmen faction. He and his disciple Li Renning were active in Qingkang, Yong, and Qianjian in the areas of Deqing and Yuhang in Zhejiang. Here you can see one of the activities of the Huashan faction. The thirteenth of the "General Book of Zhuzhen Sects" records the words of the Huashan faction, and the first four sentences are: "To one yuan on the road, Chongjiao performs the whole truth, Chong and virtue are original, benevolence, righteousness, etiquette, wisdom and faith." According to this, Bei Benheng is the fifteenth generation of the Huashan faction, and Li Renning is the sixteenth generation.

Jingming Dao: The full name is "Jingming Loyalty and Filial Piety". It is a Taoist sect that arose in Nanchang Xishan during the Song and Yuan dynasties, and it was derived from the Lingbao faction. Net refers to not staining things, Ming refers to not touching things, the sect takes pure and loyal filial piety as its purpose, and serves as the name of the sect. The establishment of Jingmingdao has gone through a long gestation process. Jingming Dao respects the Eastern Jin Dynasty Taoist Xu Xun (Xu Jingyang) as the ancestor, saying that his law comes from Xu Xun. Xu Xun lived in Nanchang during the Eastern Jin Dynasty, preaching and eleven disciples were called the twelve true monarchs. After Xu Xun's death, Xishan Taoism was endless, and Xu Xun's burning and repairing of the curtain view also went through the revival of the Tang Dynasty Taoist Hu Huichao and the Northern Song Dynasty emperor's enthronement. At the beginning of the Southern Song Dynasty, the Taoist priest Zhou Zhengong of Yulong Wanshou Palace (formerly Youweiguan) in Xishan used Xu Xun's belief to pray for Xu Zhenjun to save the degree, and was awarded the "Flying Immortal Degree Human Scripture" and "Jingming Loyalty and Filial Piety**", that is, the Yizhen Altar was built in Xishan, and more than 500 disciples were transmitted, marking the formation of this Taoist school. However, the Taoist sect of Zhou Zhengong has not been inherited for a long time, and it seems to have disappeared into oblivion. At the end of the Song Dynasty and the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty, Liu Yu, a Taoist priest from Xishan, rose up and founded the religion. In the twentieth year of Yuan Shizu (1283), Liu Yutuo said that Hu Huichao, a Taoist priest from Xishan, had descended, and announced that the Jingming Great Sect would prosper, and he would be a disciple of 800 disciples, and Liu Yu would be a teacher. Liu Yu founded the Tengsheng Taoist Institute to persuade with kindness. Since then, Liu Yu has successively claimed that Xu Xun has been awarded "The Story of the Jade True Spirit Altar", "Zhonghuang Avenue", and "Eight Extremes True Interpretation", Guo Pu has awarded "The Jade Zhen Litan Shu", and Hu Huichao has been awarded the Taoist Law and the purpose of the Three or Five Flying Steps to Kill the Evil. In the first year of Dade (1297), the Taoist school named "Jingming Dao" was formally formed. Liu Yu's re-established Jingming Dao took Xu Xun as the Jingming Taoist Master (Jingyang Gongyi Biography), Lan Gong and Chen Mu as the Jingming Enlightenment, and Xishan Twelve True Monarchs as the Jingming Mission. He also respected the Tang Dynasty Taoist priest Zhang Wei as the Jingming Master, Hu Huichao as the Jingming Master, and the Eastern Jin Dynasty Taoist Guo Pu as the Jingming Supervisor, collectively known as the "Jingming Three Divisions". Liu Yu called the pure Ming Yangjiao, and was the second pass of Jingyang Gong. Liu Yu is the fourth generation of Jingming Dao heir masters, Huang Yuanji is the third transmission of Jingyang Gong, Xu Yi is the fourth transmission of Jingyang Gong, Zhao Yizhen is the fifth transmission of Jingyang Gong, and Liu Yuanran is the sixth transmission of Jingyang Gong. Liu Yu to the four heirs of Jingming, the five generations of teaching, is the prosperous period of Jingming Dao. Huang Yuanji passed on the jade truth in the West Mountain, and the three altars of the hidden truth and the cave were taught to the disciples, and then the Xishan Jingming altar was popular in the world. Huang Yuanji, Xu Yi, and Liu Yuanran all went to Beijing to promote the teachings of Pure Ming, and became famous for a while. Huang Yuanji was recommended by Zhang Sicheng, the thirty-ninth generation of heavenly masters, and was awarded the title of Master of Jingming Chongde Hongdao, Master of the Sect, and Yulong Wanshou Palace. Zhao Yizhen once studied the northern and southern schools of Quanzhen from Zhang Guangji and Li Xuanyi. The Pure Enlightenment Path has maintained close and friendly relations with the Pure Truth Path and the Righteous Path. After Liu Yuanran, the lineage of the Jingming Dao is unknown, and the sect gradually declined. In the ninth year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1652), Xu Shoucheng, the eighth generation of Qiu Chuji's disciple, entered Xishan to study Jingming Dao and devoted himself to the restoration of Xishan Palace. In the thirty-first year of Kangxi (1692), Xu Shoucheng died, and his disciples Tan Taizhi, Zhang Taixuan, and Xiong Tai'an lived in Xishan Shao to follow the Jingming system. Since then, the history of Jingmingdao has been put to rest. Jingmingdao takes "pure ming, loyalty and filial piety" as the purpose of cultivation. Pure light refers to the requirements for inner cultivation, and loyalty and filial piety are the requirements for practice. Jingming Dao regards loyalty, filial piety, honesty, prudence, generosity, abundance, tolerance, and forbearance as the "Eight Treasures of the World", and requires Taoist priests to abide by them. Jingming Dao takes loyalty and filial piety as the foundation of the avenue, and believes that "loyalty and filial piety are the foundation, every inch is pure, the four beauties are ready, the gods are gradually psychic, and there is no need to cultivate, and they will naturally become enlightened." ("The Complete Book of Pure Ming Loyalty and Filial Piety", Volume 2) The characteristics of the Pure Ming Tao are the integration of Taoism, Confucianism, and Buddhism, and advocate the unity of the three religions. It is believed that the purity of Taoism, the loyalty and forgiveness of Confucianism, the Mahayana of Buddhism, and the purpose of the three religions are all the same. Jingmingdao attaches great importance to feudal ethics and has strong physical characteristics. The Complete Book of Pure Ming Loyalty and Filial Piety is the basic classic of Jing Ming Dao, compiled by Huang Yuanji, and is an important material for the study of Jing Ming Taoism. There are more than 10 kinds of Jingming Taoist scriptures in the "Daozang". Jingmingdao is a new Taoist school characterized by advocating loyalty and filial piety. The teachings of the Pure Ming Dao were deeply appreciated by the Yuan and Ming bureaucrats and doctors, and were also valued by the Yuan and Ming rulers. The Pure Ming Dao Heir Master had a close relationship with Zhang Tianshi of Longhu Mountain, and also had contacts with the Quanzhen Longmen School and the Quanzhen Southern School, and was an influential sect during the Ignorance Period.

Lushan faction: It is derived from the disciples of Xu Zhenjun, the patriarch of the Jingming faction, and is divided into the three milk factions and the Dharma master public faction. It is also said to be a branch of the Pure Ming School or the Zhengyi School, which is actually a folk Charm Taoist School, which enjoys a good reputation in Zhejiang, Fujian, Taiwan and other places, and its influence is even greater than that of other Taoist schools. Xiao Wei, a Taoist friend who went down to southern Zhejiang to find books, is the seventh generation of the altar master of the Lushan Sanni Sect. The school originated from the folk beliefs of Chen Jinggu (Qi Shi Ma), according to legend, the east place name of Gutian County, Fujian Province is Linshui, in the five generations when there is the surname Chen for the witch, Chen Jinggu is also a witch, the father Chen Chang, the mother Ge Shi, teach the art of witch ghosts, Chen Jinggu and his friendship sisters, witch and witch, practice martial arts, by the wizard and God, the villagers worship it. It is said that she once studied under Xu Zhenjun, the master of Lushan, and obtained the secret of Xu Jingyang, and learned the Tao from Zhang Tianshi of Longhu Mountain, and obtained the demon sword. Chen Jinggu's belief in the "Big Milk Spirit Sutra" Yunqi "spread the law in Lu Mountain, show the ancient field", in the Southern Song Dynasty, Fujian built Qi Shi Ma Palace, Linshui Lady Temple. Quanzhou Qishi Ma worship Chen, Jin, Li three ladies, for the goddess of childbirth, childbirth, baby-rearing, the incense is more prosperous, and there is a "Guanyin sign", and with Mazu with worship, still exists. The three wives of Fuzhou are Chen Jinggu, Lin Shujing (Lin Jiuniang), and Li Sanjing (Li Sanniang); There are 16 Linshui Lady Temples in Taiwan (including Taipei City Linshui Shun Heaven, Tainan City Linshui Lady Ma Palace, Kaohsiung County Sanmao Palace, Nantou County Shunyi Palace, Taichung City Linshui Palace, Yilan County Jing'an Palace, etc.), all of which are Taoist temples and belong to the Three Milk School of Taoism. Most of the Taoist priests in Taiwan belong to the Zhengyi faction, among which the aconitum Sigong is the Heavenly Master Dao, and the red-headed Shigong is the Lushan Sanniao Dao. Lushan Sanmu was originally a Taoist folk belief, which still exists in the mainland, and Taiwan's folk Taoism flourished, so it developed into one of the folk Taoism.

Shenxiao School: The new Fu Zheng school that appeared at the end of the Northern Song Dynasty is also the actual founder and advocate of Taoism. Founder Wang Wenqing. At the end of Zhenghe (1111-1117), Lin Lingsu was summoned by Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty, and Qin said: "There are nine heavens in the sky, and Shenxiao is the highest, and it is called the government." The King of Shenxiao Yujie, the eldest son of God, the Lord of the South, the Emperor of Immortality, Your Majesty is also". Song Huizong was overjoyed, proclaimed himself "Emperor Daojun", and ordered all the states in the world to build the Shenxiao Yuqing Wanshou Palace to worship the Shenxiao Emperor. The name of Shenxiao dazzles people's ears and eyes, and the Taoist priest of this sect takes it as a religious name. Zhang Yuchu of the Ming Dynasty said that the Shenxiao faction originated from the Shenxiao Jade Halal King, and the fire master Wang Zhenjun was the ancestor of the teachings. The so-called Shenxiao Jade Halal King, which is a solid sub-void, is the fire master Wang Zhenjun's exposition of the teachings (fire master Wang Zhenjun's name is Wang Zihua, the Tang people's "Continuation of the True Immortal Body of the Past Generations" and "Hengyue Zhi" biography), and it is difficult to believe. According to relevant information, the founder of this school should be Wang Wenqing, and the people of the time, Lin Lingsu and Zhang Jixian, also made contributions to the founding of the school. Wang Wenqing (1093-1153), the word Yu Dao (or Shudao), the number Chong Hezi, was a native of Nanfeng, Jiangxi. He claimed to have met the fire master Wang Jun on the Yangtze River during the Xuanhe period, and gave him the way of flying gods, and met the old woman (said to be the electric mother) in Nozawa, and gave him several volumes of thunder books. "It is a great help to the people, and it is famous in the rivers and lakes." (Yu Ji "Linghui Chong Xutong Miao Zhen King Shichen Ji") Huizong heard his name, sent an envoy to summon him, and worshiped Dr. Taisu and the school of the Ning Shen Temple. Then promoted to the waiter, worshiped the Golden Gate Yuke, and gave the name "Chong Xutong Miaosheng". It is said that it can predict the number of days and pray for rain to bring down demons. In the last years of Huizong, a number of people invited to repair politics and train soldiers, but Huizong did not accept it, but brushed his sleeves and returned to Nanfeng. He died in the twenty-third year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1153). The Shenxiao faction is mainly characterized by the transmission of the Shenxiao Thunder Method, that is, the Five Thunder Method. This method is based on the talisman spell as the basic content, and the whole inner Dan technique, and the inner Dan cultivation is the mainstay, supplemented by the talisman spell. Wang Wenqing said: "Those who investigate the Five Thunder Laws use the Tao (referring to internal cultivation) as the body and the Fa (referring to the Fu Gong) as the use. With the internal refining work as the foundation, "with the god of my primordial life, summon the god of nothingness, with my own qi, with the qi of his nothingness, with the trick of stepping, the secret spell spirit rune, the mobilization machine, if it is in line with the contract, the thunder in the palm, the heaven and the earth in the body, the rain and rain, so the induction speed is like an impact." ("Dao Fa Hui Yuan") Volume 61 "Gao Shang Shen Xiao Yushu Slashing Five Thunders**") is precisely because this school attaches so much importance to the inner Dan technique, so it is very different from the old Fu Gong School, which can be called the new Fu Gong School. After Wang Wenqing's death, his disciples divided into many tribes and continued to spread in the vast area south of the Yangtze River. "Dao Fa Hui Yuan" Volume 84 "Lei Fa Said": "The patriarch Shichen met the fire master Wang Zhenjun gave the thunder secret decree, and after the rush, it has been passed down to this day. In the fifty-sixth year of his life, people of different factions with the same name mixed together, so that those who did good deeds were not allowed to enter their doors. Ming Zhang Yuchu's "Ten Rules of Daomen" also said: "Shenxiao from Wang, Wang Ershi down, there are Zhang, Li, Bai, Sa, Pan, Yang, Tang, Mo Zhushi, magnificent, all the heavenly thunder, the text of Yue, each teacher taught, or a general and several factions are different, or a faction and the talisman is also different, so it is false and distorted, and there are many people who hide the truth and falsehood, so they slander each other. According to Yu Ji's "Wang Shichen Ji", the true biography of Wang Wenqing, only Gao Ziyu of the new city, Gao Ziyu "gave it to Linjiang Xu Ciju, then to Jinxi Nie Tianxi, and then got its biography and the person who showed it was said that Linjiangchuan Tan Wu Zhenyun. People don't dare to call it by name, but they call it Tan Wulei". After entering the Yuan Dynasty, Tan Wuzhen was still in the world, passing on Luling Luo Xuzhou, and then passing on Xiao Yuxuan and Zhou Lili, Zhou passed on his son, Xiao passed on Hu Daoxuan, known as "Shenxiao Wild Guest", and practiced the law between Guanshaan, Jingxiangjiang, Hanhuaihai, Fujian and Zhejiang. At the same time as Wang Wenqing's disciples continue to inherit, there are also branches of ancestors Lin Lingsu and Zhang Jixian. "Dao Fa Hui Yuan" volume 198 "Shenxiao Golden Fire Tianding**" Liu Yuhou Xuyun: "Huo Shi Chuan and Yuzhen Sect Leader Lin Shichen, Lin Chuan and Zhang Ruhui, later Chen Daoyi, Xue Dongzhen, Lu Junye, and Xu Bida with the Shenxiao faction. Xu also did not know his text, Lu Jun turned into Jianjiang, will be solved, and the pillow out of his book to Fu Yu (Liu Yu self-proclaimed), the law passed on Lu Jun, and sent to succeed Xu Jun. In the same book, volume 253 "The Rest of the Earth": "The law of the Earth and the First Division of the Earth actually started from Master Xujing (that is, Zhang Jixian), and then appeared in the Tianbao Cave Lord Wang Zongjing Zhenguan, Qingcheng Wu Daoxian Zhizhen Guan, Qingzhou Liu Boqi Xianguan, Guozhou Weihui Zhongming Zhenren, and successively became the grandmaster. Later, such as Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Shuhu, and Guanghe, what is the limit, and the name is Zhaojiening. ...... Later, there were Su Daoji faction, Wenzhou Zheng faction, Li Pengtou faction, Yu Yaoqing faction, Xuanling continuation faction, and so on, and so on, countless. "Jindan Sect Nanzong Chen Nan and Bai Yu Toad also passed on the Shen Xiao Lei Fa, and Bai Yu Toad also wrote a variety of Lei Fa works. Later, Bai Yuchan passed on his disciple Peng Xiang, and Peng passed on his disciple Lin Boqian. Be another tribe of the gods.

In the Yuan Dynasty, the most famous descendant of the Shenxiao faction was Mo Yueding. His name, character, place of origin, and year of birth and death are recorded in different books. According to Song Lian's "Yuan Mo Yueding Biography Tablet", Mo Yueding, whose name is Yan, after entering the Tao, changed his name to Zhan Yi, and called himself Yueding. Huzhou people. When he studied the imperial examination at an early age, he was unfavorable in the three examinations, and he abandoned his family to become a Taoist priest. Later, he entered the Sichuan Qingcheng Mountain Zhangren View, and was taught by Xu Wuji to pass on the Five Thunder Method. After hearing that Jiangxi Nanfeng Zou Tiebi (or as a pen) got Wang Wenqing's Lei Shu, which was kept secret but not passed on, but committed to Tong Lizhi, and finally received his book. So he summoned thunderstorms, broke ghosts, and moved with the sky. Song Baoyou (the word should be next to the word) Wuwu (1258) was invited to pray for rain in eastern Zhejiang, and the rain arrived. Yuan Shizu to Yuan Jichou (1289) was edicted, and tried spells in the inner temple of the capital, and the test was established. Give it generously, and don't receive it. Ordered to take charge of Taoist affairs, with the old resignation. Later, he returned to the south and practiced the law between the rivers and lakes. The cheats obtained are not passed on lightly. The only ones who got it were Wang Jihua and Pan Wuya. Later Hua awarded Zhang Shanyuan, Shanyuan awarded Bu Zonghao, and Zong Hao awarded Zhou Xuanzhen. Zhou Xuanzhen was famous in the Yuan and Ming dynasties. In addition, Mo Yueding also passed on Jin Shanxin (1273-1331) and Wang Weiyi (?-1326). Wang Weiyi once expounded the theory of thunder law in his book "The Heart of the Dao Law", emphasizing that the practice of the law must be based on internal refining, and the thunder storm is only the external manifestation of the spirit and spirit, and cannot be sacrificed to seek the end. Most of the disciples preached by Mo Yueding were spread in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Fujian, Guangdong, Hubei, Shaanxi and Sichuan. According to the "Dao Fa Hui Yuan" volume 147 "Dong Xuanyu Shu Thunder**", in the Wu Dynasty, the ancestor Liu Hai Toad and Bai Yu Toad are still inherited. Xue Shichun Ji said: "Grandmaster Bai Zhenren, Haiqiong people." "Bai Jun got the law from Chen Ni Pill and got the law from Xin Tianjun, all of them were immortal gatherings, and it was no accident. The successor is the daughter of Ma Jushi in Quanzhou,...... (His daughter) Mr. Weng Jun Lei Mur, who was granted by law, is the grandson of Dan Yuan Weng's heir. The family apartment is in Jianning. to the 16th year of the Yuan Dynasty (1279,...... Pu Xiang saw the beauty of his heavenly posture and put it under the curtain. After obtaining the law, he returned to his former residence. ...... At one time, there were more than 100 disciples of the Dharma. Jiangdong has Zhao Jucun, who was the Confucian teacher of Jianning. ...... Shi Chun served Shi Weng Jun three times, and the mortal priest asked for his life and prayed, and he would be ordered. ...... Yiwei (1295) revisited Jianning, and was the old Weng Jun (feathered),...... There are more than 500 heirs under the Shichun altar. "At the end of the signature Bingshen (the second year of Yuanzhen, 1296), the disciple of Xue Shichun was in fact. After the Ming and Qing dynasties, the faction declined, but it was also inherited. In the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, there was a Taoist priest in Beijing, Zhou Side, who claimed to have the magic of the Heavenly General Wang Lingguan of the Jade Shuhuo Mansion. It is said that Wang Lingguan first learned the Shenxiao method from Zhang Jixian and Lin Lingsu when he was in Huizong of the Song Dynasty, and then learned talismans from the Shu people Sa Shoujian. Therefore, please build the temple in the west of the Beijing Division, and change the temple to the Great Virtue View between Xuande, and the Sa and the king are all named true monarchs, and they are enshrined endlessly. According to Gu Yuan of the Qing Dynasty, Suzhou Xuanmiao Guan, since the Song Dynasty, has been the base of the activities of the Shenxiao faction in the past dynasties, and many famous Shenxiao Taoist priests such as Wang Wenqing, Mo Yueding, Zhang Shanyuan, Zhou Xuanzhen, etc. have lived here.

In the Qing Dynasty, there was Shi Daoyuan who lived in this inheritance. Shi Daoyuan (?-1678), the word Liangsheng, alias Tiezhu Daoren. A native of Wu County. The child was a monk and a Taoist priest of Chaozhenguan, and met a stranger Zhang Xinfu to teach Dan Jue. In the nineteenth year, Xu Yanzhen received the Five Thunder Method from Longhu Mountain, which can drive away the gods and heal the disease. At the beginning of the construction of the room Yao Peak, followed by the Dome Mountain. Shunzhi Wuxu (1658), the fifty-third generation of the heavenly master Zhang Hong invited Yu Chao, gave the true view of the dwelling, and gave the name Yang Yuan Baoyi Xuanjiao Evolution Master. The mystical view of the county collapsed, and it was postponed. Late trip to Minyue, died in the seventeenth year of Kangxi (1678). It is rumored that there are disciples Hu Deguo, Hu Chuanpan Yuangui (the wooden word should be next to the word Wang), Pan Chuanhui Yuanmo, Hui Chuanzhang Zili, Shi Shen'an, has reached the world of Jiaqing. The "General Book of Zhuzhen Sects" also contains several Taoist sects of the ancestor Sa Shoujian: Tianshan School, Sa Zhenjun Xihe School, Sazu School, etc., all of which were spread in the Shenxiao tribe of the Ming and Qing dynasties and the Republic of China.

The sects of Taoism are very mixed, and many Taoist schools are actually mixed with a variety of Taoist cultivation methods, which are difficult to distinguish clearly, and the historical books and the main classics of each school only put forward the content that distinguishes it from other Taoist schools as the symbolic content, and the difference is different. Among them, the most mysterious is the Nangong Sect, that is, the Xuanzhen Gate, the main classic "Seven Steps of Dust Qi" (also known as "Seven Steps of Dust Technique"), which is now known by many cultivators. Its branch, the Sword Immortal Sect, is also being stirred.
