Chapter 174: Quadruple Realm
The little half-immortal was dumbfounded, but he still did it, and as soon as he walked out of the room naked, he shivered coldly in an instant, and walked to the courtyard and sat down cross-legged.
"Buddhism is based on the heart and ends with the body and mouth. The practice of mental nirvana is divided into four realms, the first of which is called hollow meditation. Meditation with a hollow mind, thinking about nothing, thinking about the end, that is, the emptiness, and the destruction of the Dharma. ”
The pure monk also walked in front of the little half-immortal and told him about the first realm differentiation of the Nirvana Method.
According to Buddhism, human beings are born from fate, and in a certain time and space, the habit of thinking and acting by lust and consciousness gathers the eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind, and if they merge with the earth, water, heat, wind, and air, my human body is formed, and when the fate is exhausted, the four major bodies are destroyed, and everything is empty, leaving only the consciousness in the seed, waiting for the meeting of the next causes, and so on and so on, and so on and so on,
If you concentrate on cultivating and moving forward, you will naturally have no right and wrong, and you will have less greed, jealousy, and annoyance.
Moving forward and cultivating well, staying away from the eight dharmas of the world, and having no delusion in the realm, is meditation. There is no trace of this phase, and it is not separated from it.
"The mind is free of obstacles, there is no obstacles, there is no terror, far from upside-down dreams, and nirvana. "Buddhism is boundless, only destined people, even if you take refuge in the law, you still can't avoid grievances and hatred. Only when all realms are empty can we not be born or destroyed, not dirty or pure, not increased or decreased.
The emptiness of "all dharmas are empty" is the emptiness of dependent origination, which is manifested and emptiness without appearing, not non-existent. The ultimate essence of you and me is emptiness, but there is still the manifestation of you and me, and the ultimate essence of things is emptiness, and there is still the appearance of cause and effect.
In the case of not choosing, we can maintain the clarity of our own mind, and only in the clear and pure situation, the self-nature is revealed, which is the most important teaching of Zen Buddhism, for the first essence of practice; after the Tang Dynasty, there was a double cultivation of Zen and purity, on the one hand, seeking insight, on the other hand, praying for the salvation of the Buddha, so that now the two largest sects in the teachings, one is Zen Buddhism, the other is the Pure Land Buddhism.
"The second is called mind-body detachment. The mind and body are separated from thoughts, and those who are separated from the thoughts and phases, and so on in the void realm, they are omnipresent, and the Dharma realm is one phase. ”
At this time, the pure monk said the second exercise mantra of this nirvana, and the little half-immortal also firmly remembered it in his heart.
If this statement is true, then the blue sky and the sea, the fragrance of grass floating in the air, the snow-covered mountains that melt, and the mountains and forests that are green in spring, summer, autumn and winter, are also full of truth.
In Buddhism, there are "four thoughts", that is, "contemplating the impurity of the body, contemplating suffering is suffering, contemplating impermanence, and contemplating the Dharma without self".
Mindfulness looks at the flow of the body, feelings, and even thoughts to attain the emptiness of causes.
The most important warning is, of course, impermanence, that the body will be corrupted, that the feelings will rise and fall, and that the mind will not be able to live forever is a kind of impermanent migration.
The Buddha can empty all appearances and become ten thousand wisdoms, but cannot destroy the karma.
Who can extinguish the Buddha's indestructible karma?
If he sees me with color and asks me with his voice, he is walking in evil ways, and he does not see me as he comes.
So what can see the truth? The heart can see the truth, so you should first seek your own heart.
In Buddhism, especially Zen Buddhism, because of the emphasis on enlightenment and emptiness, people often think that Buddhism is the religion of the main wisdom, such as the Bodhidharma Patriarch took the transmission of the mind as the core of Zen, and said that the mind can only be grasped by meditation, which often makes people mistakenly think that the mind is static.
When it came to the Sixth Patriarch Huineng, in order to avoid a static understanding, the core of Zen was emphasized as "insight", which was "the unity of concentration and wisdom".
"The third is called the Five Eyes of Rulai. For example, the five eyes: seeing the color is called the naked eye, seeing the body is pure and called the heavenly eye, and the color realm and even the good and evil, can be slightly distinguished, nothing is stained, and it is at ease in the middle, it is called the wisdom eye, and the name is the Dharma eye when seeing nothing, and the Buddha's eye is called seeing nothing. ”
The Buddha's most fundamental teachings, "suffering, concentration, extinction, and the Tao", although they are all about suffering, their goal is to teach us to be free from suffering. Therefore, although Buddhism starts from the suffering of life, it does not exist to make us suffer. On the contrary, it exists to move towards peace, calmness, and joy. Otherwise, the Buddha would not have had to preach to us about "Elysium" again and again.
True samadhi is not to stay away from distraction, but to hold on to chaos, and in a calm state, it is good to have a good mind in one place, but in the midst of chaos, it is not more wonderful to be able to be truly silent and self-immovable? Samadhi is about the equality of one's own nature and the equality of the Dharma realm.
Selflessness means that things do not have an absolute self-nature, but it is not nihilism. The reason why a thing has no self is because it arises and dies with dependents, arises and arises, and perishes when it dies, which is cause and effect.
The less places we ask for help, and the less places we rely on people, the better we will be able to see the world and maintain a sense of peace and joy. Guanyin Bodhisattva recites his own Buddha name to be at ease, if we have a little more reflection on ourselves every day, we will be more comfortable, and a person who is at ease, like the ancient Zen master touch the machine is wisdom, that is because he has a peace of mind, inclusive of the vast number of things naturally have a wisdom positioning.
At this time, the pure monk talked about the third exercise, and the little half-immortal who listened was a little fascinated.
It's hard to be confused, it's hard to be happy. All appearances are vain. If you see things that are not like each other, you see them as they are.
"The last one is called Seeing Outside the Heart. If you understand your own mind, you will be separated from life and death, and you will be nirvana. ”
Immediately, you have to have your own mind, see your own nature and self-purification, self-cultivation and self-cultivation of your own Dharma body, your own Buddha's practice, and your own Buddhahood.
A true "enlightened being" must be one who has experienced impermanence and selflessness, who has recognized the impermanence of the universe as dependent arising voidness, in order to embody wisdom, and who knows that all beings are equal in selfless emptiness, then he can have natural compassion.
The little half-immortal listened quietly, all this is very different from the family tradition, Nirvana focuses on understanding one's own nature and stimulating one's own unlimited potential!
Only when we have a transcendent perspective, knowing that the past of the flow of good and evil is the cause of the flow of life and death, and knowing that the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will not abandon us because of the past of bad karma, can we truly understand the true nature of Amitabha Buddha's sad wishes.
And the exercises taught by the half-immortal family, such as the Heaven Slashing Sword Momentum, focus on guiding the natural power of heaven and earth to use these two exercises for oneself, these two exercises are completely different.
"There is no difference between the Buddha and sentient beings, only with one mind. This mind has no beginning, no form, no form, no birth, no destruction, it is now, it is obedient, like a void, without boundaries. ”
The pure monk continued to talk to the little half-immortal about the general meaning of this exercise.
After saying this, the pure monk paused, this exercise actually has a drawback.
"The most indispensable thing to practice this exercise is understanding, my old friend once accepted three apprentices, one of whom practiced for three years before entering the first realm, and it took another ten years to get a glimpse of the second realm. The other two can only enter the second weight in their lifetimes. ”
The little half-immortal Adam's apple moved slightly, and it took three years to enter the first doorway....... Wouldn't he be beaten as a bachelor for the rest of his life? 2k reading web
