Chapter 5 Acupuncture in the Eyes
How many acupuncture points there are in the human body, no one can say this clearly. Some say 129,600, some say 12,960, and even more say there are innumerable.
However, no matter how many acupuncture points there are in the human body, the cultivation of the Dao Gate, no matter what the method, is only a part of it. The only difference is that some methods use more acupuncture points, while others use fewer acupuncture points - normally speaking, the more acupuncture points you use, the higher the level of the practice.
The number of acupuncture points used by the Supreme Qi Refining Technique obtained by Li Hao was 1,296. These acupuncture points are distributed in his internal organs and an extremely important location.
According to the Taoist viewpoint, the human body is a universe, and every organ inside the human body is a small world, that is, a small Zhoutian.
Therefore, for the Daomen cultivation method, opening up any organ in the human body is equivalent to completing the cultivation of a small Zhoutian, that is, entering the realm of a small Zhoutian.
Because of the different methods of Taoism, the use of each organ is different, so the number of acupuncture points opened on each organ is also different. Just like the "Technique of Leaving the Fire" for the human heart, it is enough to use it by opening up seven acupoints, which can be regarded as completing the cultivation of a small Zhou Tian, while the "Supreme Qi Refining Technique" requires the opening of one hundred and eight acupoints to be able to complete the same practice.
After stepping into the realm of Xiao Zhoutian, Li Hao did not immediately stop cultivating.
Instead, he controlled the pure true qi out of the dantian and went straight into the heart, slowly circulating between the one hundred and eight acupuncture points inside the heart.
This time, the true qi circulated between the one hundred and eight acupuncture points, and the true qi naturally did not change as much as the first nine cycles. With each cycle, the True Qi is only replenished a little bit, and the Pure Cheng Dù is only a slight trace of improvement.
With the operation of the true qi, the realm that Li Hao had just broken through gradually stabilized - the acupuncture points that had been opened up gradually became fixed, and the true qi became arbitrary. And his heart, too, has gained some subtle benefits in the process, and seems to have become more powerful and healthier.
This is where the difference between the monastic method and the martial arts practice lies.
Although the cultivation of both is a true qi, the true qi cultivated by martial arts is circulated and transported within the meridians, and in the process, it continues to grow and refine. However, the true qi cultivated by the cultivation method is carried and circulated in the acupuncture points inside the internal organs, so as to strengthen the true qi essence and pure true qi, and at the same time, it can also refine the internal organs, so that the internal organs become stronger and stronger in the process.
The difference between these two cultivation methods has caused a world of difference in the cultivation effects of these two cultivation methods.
First of all, the true qi cultivated by the cultivation method is at least ten times that of the martial arts exercises, and its growth rate is at least ten times that of the martial arts exercises!
Secondly, the more you practice the Dharma, the stronger your body will become, and you will even be able to live longer. Once a practitioner loses his true qi, he still has a strong and powerful body to rely on. And martial arts exercises, except for a few exercises, will not be of any help to a person's body and lifespan at all, once a cultivator loses his true qi, he is nothing.
These differences make martial artists who practice martial arts theoretically able to break through the shackles of the acquired and achieve the innate realm of the third layer of qi refining, but few martial artists have a lifespan of hundreds of years to break through the shackles and set foot in that realm.
While sensing the increase in the purity of the true qi, the heart is becoming more and more powerful, and Li Hao even has an impulse to circulate forever and never stop.
Fortunately, he had already made a plan before, and forcibly suppressed this impulse to indulge, after the True Qi cycle was running for eighty-one hours, he silently recited the cultivation mantra of "Leaving the Fire True Pupil" in his heart, and the true qi was divided into two along the mantra, respectively along the hand Shaoyin Heart Sutra upwards, through the chest cavity and neck, intersecting above the lips, over the cheeks, and straight into the eyes!
The Supreme Qi Refining Technique is only a fundamental cultivation method, and there is no application method in it. The 1,296 acupuncture points involved are also distributed in the five internal organs, and there is no description of the acupuncture points on other parts of the body.
However, another method obtained by Li Hao, "The Secret of Leaving the Fire", can cultivate the true pupil of the fire, which is aimed at the double pupils in addition to the heart, which is naturally recorded in the acupuncture points above the eyes.
In "The Recipe for Leaving the Fire", there are the same number of acupuncture points in the eyes of a person as there are seven points in each of them.
In order to cultivate the true pupil of the fire separation, it is necessary to open up a total of fourteen acupuncture points in the memory of the double pupil.
The heart and eye are opposite, and after opening the acupuncture points of the heart, it is more than a hundred times less difficult to open the acupuncture points within the pupils than normal.
Li Hao's mind was immersed in the mantra of "Leaving the Fire True Pupil", and the true qi changed subtly, and the two true qi that went straight into his eyes turned into two films, wrapping his two eyeballs.
"Hey, isn't there fourteen acupoints? How come there are as many as two hundred and sixteen acupoints?!" At this time, Li Hao secretly sighed.
However, at the moment when the true qi turned into a film and wrapped around the eyeballs, he felt that there were one hundred and eight dim points of light inside each eyeball, instead of the seven recorded in the "Separation from the Fire"!
"Yes, there are seven heart acupoints recorded in the "Separation from the Fire Technique", and there are seven acupoints in each of the two eyes, and there are one hundred and eight heart acupoints recorded in the "Supreme Qi Refining Technique", and the acupoints in the two eyes should of course be one hundred and eight like the acupoints of the heart!"
Thinking of this, he couldn't help but be secretly excited.
If you open up one hundred and eight acupuncture points, what kind of double pupils can you get?
Thinking like this, Li Hao couldn't wait any longer, controlled the two true qi, turned into filaments according to the method recorded in the "Separation from the Fire", and slowly infiltrated into the first acupuncture point recorded in the "Separation from the Fire".
Just as the True Qi seeped into the first acupuncture point, there were two sharp fingers full of sharp thorns that were directly inserted into the eyeballs and constantly stirred, and the general sharp pain instantly completely submerged him!
"Ahh
That cultivation state was also broken in an instant, and as soon as the two true qi in his eyes shrank, he retracted into his dantian along the Shaoyin Heart Sutra in his hand.
"Why didn't anyone tell me that it hurt so much?!" Even though he was out of that state, he still felt an incomparably sharp pain in his eyes, although it did not reach the previous Cheng Dù who seemed to have two prickly fingers inserted into it and stirred, but it was also unbearable, making him unable to open his eyes.
After his body trembled there for a long time, Li Hao felt the pain gradually subside, and slowly opened his eyes.
"Hey, why is my eyesight so much stronger?!" Although Li Hao's eyes were full of tears, he found that the fine dust on the wall in front of him that he couldn't see clearly was actually very clear, just like looking through a telescope.
"Could it be that I have already opened that acupoint just now?!" He was surprised for a while, although he almost had a psychological shadow on the previous sharp pain, but under curiosity, he still ran the "Separation from Fire Technique" again, adjusting the true qi to his eyes.
I saw that between the one hundred and eight points of light within each of the two pupils, there was already a bright light on each side, which was the only way to open up the acupuncture points!
I knew that after opening the heart acupoints, it would be much easier to open the acupoints of the eyes, but I didn't expect it to be so easy, just now he just infiltrated the true qi into it, and he didn't even start to open it, these two acupoints have actually been washed away, such an ease, compared to the previous half a year it took him to open the one hundred and eight acupoints inside the heart, how much easier than a hundred times?
But...... Although it was so fast, the sharp pain was unbearable......
Li Hao was here to be happy that this acupoint was so easy to open, and on the other hand, he was helpless because of the sharp pain that made people feel a psychological shadow when the acupoint was opened.
He didn't know that if he practiced the "Separation from Fire Technique" normally, there would be no such severe pain at all when he opened the acupuncture points inside his pupils. It's not painless, but it's just a punch in the eye. Of course, while the severe pain is reduced, if you want to open a acupoint, the time will also be longer-at least it will take several hours of continuous hard work to be able to do it, and it will never be as fast as Li Hao is now.
The reason for this difference is the difference in the purity of true qi.
How much is the difference between the true qi that can be tempered by opening up the seven acupuncture points and the true qi that is refined by opening up the one hundred and eight acupoints?
