Chapter Eighty-Four: Grade First
The unbridled celebration made the Ravenclaw wizards almost forget that the exam results had not yet been announced. Whether you are looking forward to it or feeling uneasy, the day when the test results are announced has come as scheduled.
Alan took first place in his grade with an impeccable, unprecedented perfect score, not only with Professor Flitwick's approving smile, but also with the admiring glances of the Ravenclaw wizards.
Second in the grade, Hermione of Gryffindor seemed to be stimulated by Allen's excellent grades, and wherever she went, she carried a thick magic book with her.
Edward's grades in all other subjects were good, except for Potions, which was flying low, but this also made him very satisfied. "I thought I was going to fail, but Professor Snape's look when he saw the potions I brewed made me think I would never see you again!
Alan felt that Edward really didn't need to worry, even Slytherin's Crabbe and Goyle could pass the final test, and who else would be expelled for failing the grades?
Harry, who was impressed by his grades. Although the Gryffindors had forgiven them for losing a large number of points for breaking the school rules after the year-end party, as he and Ron, Hermione, and the others had earned Gryffindors, Harry's results had changed their impression of Harry once again. Harry's situation at Gryffindor has improved considerably, almost returning to the way he was when Harry was first sorted into Gryffindor. Whether wizards or Muggles, children who learn well are always more likely to gain the affection of others, respect and friendship.
"Probably because your potion is really effective, Alan, I can sleep and concentrate on my books after drinking it. Harry said gratefully to Alan.
Alan, who was well aware of the potions' effects, believed that this was the result of Harry's focus on learning. Of course, the potion stopped Harry's forehead from aching and nightmares, and provided a guarantee for Harry to concentrate on his revisions. But if Harry didn't work hard, then no amount of potions would be of any use to drink.
At the same time, blessings and misfortunes are relied upon, and blessings are blessed by misfortunes. If Harry hadn't been ostracized by his Gryffindor classmates for making mistakes, he wouldn't have been distracted and completely immersed in his schoolwork.
Harry had always been very convinced of Alan's words. He accepted the explanation that he had only received a high grade after his hard work, and found that he was happier and more motivated to study than before.
It seemed like all of a sudden, their closets were empty, everything was in their suitcases, and Alan returned all the books he had borrowed from the library. A notice was sent to each student, warning them not to use magic during the holidays.
"Oh no, I'm counting on the holidays to show my sister some magic in exchange for some pocket money!" Flegg was annoyed.
"It doesn't matter much to me, Aunt Petunia doesn't know we can't use magic, and I'm going to have fun with Dudley this summer. Harry had a mischievous smile on his face.
Alan smiled as he watched them play with treasure. Edward sat next to Allen, holding a copy of The Muggle World Through My Eyes. Alan couldn't help but ask curiously, "Do you still need to study Muggles?"
"No, I've been trying to explain magic in Muggle theory lately, thinking about how it can be applied to Muggle society. Edward didn't look up, and his tone and expression showed that he wasn't joking.
"Then you'll be good friends with Mr. Weasley, who is also passionate about Muggle things and tries to combine magic with Muggle objects. Alan couldn't help but mutter.
"Who are you talking about?" Edward didn't hear Allen clearly.
"Oh, nothing, I wish you success. Alan gave his best wishes to his friends' ambitions.
Before leaving the school, Alan went on another trip to the Forbidden Forest. Gaia and the little unicorns greet him warmly, and Gaia gives Alan a large basket of fresh berries. The little unicorns show off their immature flying skills, and they are very cute!
In the centaur tribe, with Matilda's permission, Alan filled several large buckets of water from the Star Lake, intending to baptize his little sister Emily as well.
Hagrid was in charge of leading them aboard the fleet that crossed the lake. Looking back from the ship, Hogwarts fell silent, standing silently on a cliff. Living here for a year has given Alan an indelible love and trust for Hogwarts. "It's going to be a long time since I've seen you, old friend!" said Alan silently goodbye to Hogwarts in his heart.
Now, they're on the Hogwarts Express, talking and laughing all the way, watching the countryside grow greener and cleaner outside the window. As the train passed through Muggle towns, Edward mungulated on Bibi beans, Alan took off his wizarding robes and changed into a jacket and blouse, and finally, in the evening, the train stopped at platform 943 at King's Cross station.
It took them a long time to get out of the platform. Because a shriveled old guard was guarding the ticket gate, only two or three people were allowed through at a time, so that they would not attract the attention of Muggles by a large group of people coming in and out of the solid walls at the same time.
Alan could have gone out very quickly, and because of his excellent, constantly scoring and honoring Ravenclaw, he almost became the uncrowned king of Ravenclaw's first year. All Ravenclaws believe that Alan deserves to be treated uniquely. For example, at this time, all the first-year Ravenclaw freshmen were willing to give up their places to him and ask Alan to leave first.
Alan politely refused. Be indifferent for a while, and calm for a while. Eren is reluctant to be a maverick and distinguish himself from the young wizards.
After a long queue, Alan finally left the platform of nine and three-quarters, and he saw Albert with soft blonde hair at a glance.
"This is my eldest brother, Albert! He's an Auror. Alan proudly introduced his family to Edward.
Edward hurriedly bowed to say hello, and he was joined by Harry and Flleg, whose science teacher Albert had served!
"Hello, Edward, welcome to your home when you have time during the holidays. Nodding to Harry and Flleg, Albert warmly invited Edward to his home.
Edward nodded vigorously, as if not so would be enough to express his expectations.
After saying goodbye to Harry, Flleg, Edward, and other young wizards, Alan dragged his salute and followed Albert's footsteps on the way home.
