Chapter 22: "The Peacock Fights for Injustice, and the Buddha is Canonized"
Seeing that Shakyamuni had returned again, Dapeng encouraged the disciples to go to the Vulture Mountain, where his nest was located, and the place became more and more deserted, and he was dissatisfied with the Buddha who lit the lamp, so he took advantage of the lack of attention and quietly flapped his wings and flew back to the Vulture Mountain.
In the air on the top of the mountain, Dapeng looked down, and couldn't help but feel angry, it turned out that his nest built on the top of the Vulture Mountain had already been pushed to the bottom of the mountain, messy at the foot of the mountain, unsightly, and Dapeng returned angrily.
When Dapeng returned to the place where the lamp was lit, he immediately found the peacock and said to the peacock: "No wonder this place is becoming deserted now, it is all done by Shakyamuni and Bodhi, who occupied my vulture peak and knocked down my nest. And he also built a temple on the top of the mountain, attracting all the disciples here, and this place is getting deserted day by day, this breath, must come out!"
When the peacock heard Dapeng say this, he was already angry, and said: "That Shakyamuni occupies your nest, it is really excessive, and he also takes away the disciples here, if this continues, I am afraid that there will be no one here, you and I, as the protectors of the Buddha, how can we tolerate this situation to continue!"
Dapeng said: "That's right, you and I will join forces to go to the Vulture Mountain and drive that Shakyamuni away!"
Peacock said: "You and I join forces to defeat Sakyamuni, he has no reason to exist in the Leiyin Temple, and when the time comes, whether we occupy the Leiyin Temple or continue to practice here is up to me." ”
When Dapeng heard this, he was shocked and naturally happy, so he and the peacock immediately went to Vulture Mountain to find Shakyamuni.
Besides, the Lamp Burning Patriarch was resting, and a disciple came to report: "It was said that the Dapeng and the Peacock Protector somehow rushed away angrily, and it seemed that they were heading to Vulture Mountain." That Dapeng and Peacock have repeatedly mentioned their dissatisfaction with Sakyamuni's behavior in front of the lamp, and the lamp knows that there will be a big battle this time, Sakyamuni and Dapeng and Peacock are all people with great power, if there is a fight, the consequences will be unpredictable, and it is very likely that there will be deaths and injuries. ”
The peacock and the roc fluttered their wings and flew high, much faster than the Buddhist master, not long after, they arrived at the Vulture Mountain, the two flew and circled on the top of the mountain, it was the cold winter at this time, the Vulture Peak was covered with heavy snow, and became a snow-capped mountain, and the Shakyamuni was cultivating on the top of the Vulture Peak Snow Mountain, and had cultivated into a six-zhang golden body.
When the peacock saw Sakyamuni, he shouted in the air: "Sakyamuni, why are you two bullying the teacher!"
Dapeng also shouted: "Shakyamuni, why did you take my nest!"
Shakyamuni said, "How can I deceive the teacher, and how can I take your nest!"
Peacock said: "You have privately guided the disciples here, so that the door of the Buddha Master who burns the lamp is deserted, what is not the deception of the teacher?
Shakyamuni said: "I built a temple here, originally to receive the Buddhist master here, to promote the Dharma, but the Buddhist teacher was unwilling to leave, so I explained the benefits of this place to the disciples and led the disciples here." And that nest, I didn't know where it belonged to, but when I came and saw that it was empty, I moved to the bottom of the mountain, and I didn't know that it was created by the Dapeng Protector. ”
Peacock said: "Shakyamuni, many of your excuses are to replace the position of the Buddhist master and set up your own door, the Buddhist door is painstakingly opened up by the Buddhist master, how can you allow an outsider to take the throne at will." ”
So he didn't listen to Shakyamuni's explanation, flew in the air and rushed straight down, and pounced on Nyolai.
Shakyamuni saw that the peacock was full of murderous spirit and wanted to take his life, so he had no choice but to fight.
The Roc also waved his wings and stretched out his claws to help in the battle.
I saw that, one is the future Buddha Sect Great Divine Venerable, and the other is the current Buddhist Master God Protector. One is the Great Enlightened Yuan Bodhi, and the other is the Golden Dapeng who is flying for thousands of miles.
One wants to establish heaven and earth as a throne, and the other wants to uphold the law, righteousness, and dignity.
The four immortals and gods fought in one place, flying up and down, the wings of the peacock and the Dapeng waved, stirring the wind and flying, rolling up the snow, covering the sky and the sun, you chase me, take turns to attack, Shakyamuni and Bodhi left and right, and the two protectors you come and go, it is difficult to distinguish for a while.
The peacock is the protector of the Buddhist master, and the phoenix immortal body has to be passed on, the mana is boundless, Sakyamuni has not yet cultivated to resist the attack of the peacock and the Dapeng team, the peacock saw that it was difficult to win quickly with the art of fighting, so he exercised the mana, only to see that the peacock only took a breath, and the qi of the entire Lingshan heaven and earth entered the peacock's belly, and Sakyamuni was also inhaled into the peacock's belly.
It turned out that Shakyamuni, who was sucked into the peacock's belly, had a way to survive by drilling into his abdomen, and was deliberately sucked into the abdomen by the peacock, and then exercised his mana to break a hole in the peacock's back and pierce it out.
The peacock's body was cut open and he was seriously injured and could no longer fight, so Shakyamuni urged his mana to kill the peacock.
At this moment, the lamp was lit and the Buddhas and disciples arrived.
Burning the lamp rushed to Lingshan, just saw Dapeng and Bodhi fighting, Sakyamuni broke out of the peacock's body, wanted to kill the peacock, Randen saw this scene, and hurriedly stepped forward to stop Shakyamuni.
Lighting the lamp and saying to Shakyamuni, "Good, good, don't kill." ”
When Shakyamuni saw that the lamp was burning to stop him, he withdrew his hand and bowed. Bodhi and Dapeng also stopped fighting when they saw the Buddha who lit the lamp and led the crowd to come, and met the Buddha with Buddha rites.
Lighting the lamp and saying, "Shakyamuni, why do you want to kill?" ”
Shakyamuni said: "The Buddha came to me, just in time for this calamity, the peacock wants to take my life, I am about to kill it, it is really a last resort, it is the peacock who swallows me like a belly, and wants to kill me first." ”
Seeing this situation, the Buddha Master of the Burning Lamp was anxious, knowing that the Peacock and Shakyamuni were still in a situation of angry struggle for life and death, and this calamity was caused by him, one was his proud disciple, and the other was his perennial protector of the Dharma.
Burning the lamp is worthy of being a Buddhist master with great wisdom, and in a hurry, he quickly became wise, and said to Shakyamuni: "Do you know that the fate of this life is worse than the previous life and the next life, good is good karma, and evil is evil karma. If you slay a peacock as if you were born of a peacock, if you kill a peacock as if you were killing your mother, you must not hurt her."
When Shakyamuni heard the Buddha say this, he was irrefutable for a while, and the Buddhas echoed each other on the side, Shakyamuni had no choice but to stop.
And the Buddha of the Buddha Mother has been said, can not be violated, although Shakyamuni is extremely reluctant in his heart, but still have to follow the Buddha said, respect it as the mother, after Shakyamuni became the Buddha, it was also named the Buddha Mother Peacock Ming King Bodhisattva, so far it was a complete end to a big grudge.
Seeing that the battle had been settled, the Buddha who lit the lamp hurriedly asked the Medicine Buddha to help the peacock heal his back disease, and it took a long time to recuperate and recover.
