The two came to the place where the lamp was lit to talk about the Buddha, and after the lamp was finished, the crowd gradually dispersed, Sakyamuni and Bodhi still no one left, the two came to the lamp, Sakyamuni gave a Buddhist family ceremony, and the lamp saw that it was Bodhi, who came that day, and thought that these two people must also be a cultivator, so they returned the salute in the next seat.

Shakyamuni spoke first, "The two of us are practicing and visiting the Dharma, and I am here today to disturb, I just listened to your lecture below, and I have quite a feeling, I hope to study the Dharma here for a long time, and I hope that the Buddhist master can take it in?"

Lighting the lamp and saying, "Buddha is destined to be a person, since the two of you have this intention, you must be spiritually connected with the Dharma, you can stay and listen! I will accept you two as disciples of my Buddhism, which is a little different from those who listen to the Dharma, even if you are my disciples of Buddhism!"

"Thank you, Master!" the two hurriedly bowed and thanked, and since then the two have returned to the Buddha's door.

Time flies, Shakyamuni studied Buddhism under the Burning Lamp Gate, and because of his spiritual understanding in his past and present lives, he is already recognized as the most complete disciple of Buddhism in Buddhism. At the same time, the number of disciples of Buddhism is increasing day by day, and the number of disciples is growing day by day, and each time they teach the Fa, the number of them is thousands, sometimes even thousands. Formal disciples are not counted, and the bhikshunis who practice at home are only three to five thousand.

One day, Shakyamuni saw that the number of people listening to the Dharma was gathering more and more, and even crowded outside the hall, so he lit a lamp to the Buddhist master at the end of his lecture and said, "Master, I see that there are more and more people listening to the Dharma, why don't we find another big place and build a bigger Dharma hall to promote the Dharma?"

After listening to the lamp, he said: "Shakyamuni, those who have obtained my Dharma are only destined to do so, and they cannot be forced. ”

Shakyamuni didn't say anything after hearing what the lamp said, but he didn't agree too much with the Buddhist master's statement in his heart, and he always thought about expanding the temple one day to promote Buddhism even more.

After Shakyamuni went back, he mentioned this matter to Bodhi and told him his thoughts, Bodhi nodded after hearing this, and said to Shakyamuni, "Now that you and I have deeply understood the will of the Dharma, wouldn't it be better or greater to transform more sentient beings if we passed it on to more disciples and transformed more sentient beings? Why don't you and I find a good place to go first, and then report it to the Buddhist master. How?"

"Well, that's a good idea!"

So the next day, Shakyamuni and Nabodhi came to the lamp to say goodbye, and Shakyamuni said, "Master, we have been here to listen to you talk about the Dharma for a long time. ”

Ran the lamp didn't say much, nodded in agreement.

So Shakyamuni and Bodhi said goodbye to lighting the lamp and went around looking for a broader world of teaching.

Preaching asceticism is an extremely hard thing in the eyes of ordinary people, but in the eyes of Shakyamuni and Bodhi, it is very fun, so they don't feel hard, and they never even think about it, and go all the way.

On this day, Sakyamuni and Bodhi came to a mountainous area, looking at the mountain from afar, the top of the sky, the root of Sumeru, the auspicious clouds are swirling, towering into the clouds. Look closely, strange flowers, different grasses, ancient cypresses, pine trees, strange rocks are jagged, birds and beasts are also leisurely, birds and white cranes stand on the branches and chirp and jump, it is really rare in the world.

At the foot of the mountain, in the places where they passed, every family was kind and courteous.

Shakyamuni said to Bodhi, "This is really a spiritual place for cultivating the Dharma. ”

"Yes!" Bodhi nodded yes!

It turns out that this is the nest of the Dharma protector Dapeng in front of the lamp base, called Vulture Mountain.

This mountain is huge, so it can accommodate the original body of Dapeng.

As soon as Shakyamuni and Nabodhi saw this mountain, they liked it very much, so they settled here and practiced on the top of the vulture mountain every day, absorbing the essence of the sun and the moon, and understanding the Tao of heaven and earth.

During the cultivation, Shakyamuni and Bodhi did not forget to preach the Dharma, and soon, more and more believers came to visit, and the donations of the disciples to the Buddha gradually increased.

The sun and the moon are like a shuttle, and Shakyamuni and Bodhi have been practicing and preaching the Dharma in Lingshan for nearly a year, and Shakyamuni has seen so many believers and followers, as well as more and more treasures that have been offered.

One day, the two of them decided that the time was ripe for a stable preaching here, so they hired craftsmen to start building a Buddhist temple, and made plans to spread Buddhism here for a long time.

The site of the Buddhist temple is located on the top of the Vulture Peak, and Shakyamuni has gone through practice at this time, and with the help of Bodhi, he has great power, so he moved the giant nest on the top of the peak to the foot of the mountain to make room for the new Buddhist temple.

It lasted many days, the Buddhist temple was finally built, located on the top of the mountain, the momentum is solemn, but the decoration is simple and slightly simple, but it is also scattered, the spirit of the immortal saint is condensed, just as soon as it is built, it attracts the colorful phoenix Qingluan to fly and hover in the sky, the cranes and apes cry all around, the extraordinary place, it is really a good place to preach the world, preach the Dharma.

The two of them couldn't help but be very happy when they saw the completed Dharma Temple, and on the day of its completion, they came to watch it with all the Buddhists, and at this time the Bodhisattva asked, "Brother Dao, it's time to give a name to the Treasure Temple!"

Shakyamuni was thinking about this, and suddenly heard the rumbling of the bell in the temple, shaking the heavens and the earth like thunder, Shakyamuni thought: "If you have a name, let's call it Leiyin Temple." ”

With Bodhi and the Buddhas, everything is good.

The Leiyin Dharma Temple was built, and Shakyamuni and Bodhi lived in the Leiyin Temple, attracting disciples who had followed the Dharma over the years to preach the Dharma in the temple.

With such a place to preach, it is really different from before.

Within a few days, the number of disciples increased rapidly, and when Shakyamuni sat in the middle of the altar and opened the altar to preach the Dharma, thousands of people gathered, and there was a great victory in promoting the Dharma, and Bodhi sat on the side and occasionally said one or two Dharma.

Now that everything has been settled, Shakyamuni said to Bodhi, "Now that everything here has been settled, it's time to pick up the Buddha Master who lit the lamp, let him sit in the throne, and let the disciples there also come here to listen to the Dharma." ”

"yes!"

So, the two arranged things in the Leiyin Temple and went to the place where the lamp was burned.

The two of them saw the lamp again, and the lamp was separated from the two for a long time, and of course they were very happy to see the two returning, and asked the disciples to arrange the rooms of the two.

The next day, chatted with the two and caught up with the old days. Shakyamuni said, "The two of us went this time, all the way to promote Buddhism, and now they have settled in that Leiyin Temple, and this time I came back to pick up the teacher to go to Leiyin Temple to preach Buddhism. ”

When he heard this, he said, "Your vigorous promotion of the Dharma is a great act of kindness, and I already know your good intentions, but I have been here for many years and no longer want to change it." ”

Shakyamuni and Bodhi knew the idea of lighting the lamp, and after a little persuasion, they couldn't be persuaded, so it was just that.

However, the two did not leave immediately, and it turned out that Shakyamuni and Bodhi planned to invite the disciples here to the Vulture Mountain.

So, Shakyamuni and Bodhi explained to the disciples every day the benefits of the Vulture Mountain Leiyin Temple, and even the monks slowly knew about it.

Gradually, some of the disciples began to go to Lingshan, and gradually there were more and more of them, so the two of them discussed that Shakyamuni would return to Lingshan, and Bodhi would continue to preach at the burning lamp, prompting these disciples to go to Lingshan to settle down.

Whenever the disciples arrived at the spiritual mountain at the place where the lamp was lit, Shakyamuni specially sent a messenger to greet him in front of the mountain.

The disciples who arrived at Vulture Mountain spread the benefits of listening to Buddhism on Vulture Mountain, and slowly the Leiyin Temple of Vulture Mountain became known to the world.

As a result, the number of disciples listening to the Fa at the temple of the lamp became smaller and smaller, and the number of people changed more and more significantly each time he taught the Fa.

But at this time, there was a god who couldn't look at it, who was it? It turned out to be the lantern protector: Dapeng. This Dapeng is good at flying, flapping its wings can be 90,000 miles, the same as the peacock, it is born when the lantern was born in front of the phoenix in front of the lantern, the phoenix gave birth to the peacock and the Dapeng left the peacock and the Dapeng to practice and protect the Dharma with the lantern for many years, the Dapeng is good at flying, the peacock is good at fighting, each has its own mana.
