30. Who is stronger in martial arts between Qi Jiguang and Yu Dayou?

The Ming Dynasty had two military strategists and martial arts masters, namely Qi Jiguang and Yu Dayou. These two were called "Qi Hu Yulong" at the time, and they were said to "kill thieves like dirt", and they were famous.

We know that Qi Jiguang is good at swords and spears, and Yu Dayou is good at sticks and two-handed long swordsmanship.

Among the marksmanship that Qi Jiguang learned, the most proud is the Yang family gun, which, according to his book, is the Yang family's Liuhe gun.

When discussing the marksmanship of the military formation, Qi Jiguang said that today's marksmanship respects the Yang family gun, but the Yang family gun is not passed on because some people cherish the broom, or because the marksmanship is varied, so most of them are not able to practice. So there are many people who go to learn the Shajia pole and the Ma family's marksmanship. The Sha family's stalk and the Ma family's marksmanship, although they have their own wonders, but there are differences in length, but only the Yang family gun, which has various benefits of Qizheng and Void, and is applied to the military formation, and all of them are different. Therefore, what he promoted in the army was the twenty-four potential long spear method that he summarized from the Yang family's Liuhe gun.

When it comes to the Yang family gun, the first thing that comes to everyone's mind is the Yang family gun that affirms the Yang family general of the Song Dynasty. That's very famous, Yang Lao Linggong Seven Lang Eight Tigers vs. Golden Beach...... This is a folk legend from the novelist, and the Yang family gun here actually has nothing to do with the Yang family.

However, although the Yang family gun that Qi Jiguang is good at has nothing to do with the Yang family generals, it is also an authentic inheritance of the famous generals of the Song Dynasty.

It is said that in the fourth year of Song Jiading (1211 AD), Yang An'er, a former Jin officer, and others rebelled against Jin, called the "Red Jacket Army". Yang An'er has a younger sister named Yang Miaozhen, called "little sister" at home, riding and shooting strong martial arts, especially a spear in the palm of the ghost, invincible, countless souls under the gun, at that time very prestigious, the name of the "four ladies", the army is called "aunt". There are records that she is Yang An'er's daughter, which is not true. Because the age is not matched, the difference between the two is a few years at most.

This "four ladies" who are good at marksmanship later met a good man who is also good at marksmanship on the battlefield - Li Quan, the leader of the anti-Jin rebel army in Weizhou Beihai. It is said that the two fought several battles and developed a relationship, so they became husband and wife. The two have fought, and this is true. Marriage is also true, but interestingly, there are at least several different versions of the outcome of the two heads-up.

According to the records of the Song people's notes, the first battle between Li Quan and Yang Miaozhen lasted all day, regardless of victory or defeat. So Li Quan was unhappy, and the consequences were very serious - he went to secretly ambush the hook knife man, and when he fought again the next day, he pretended to be invincible and fled, but Yang Miaozhen chased into the ambush circle and was hooked off the horse, and Li Quan took the opportunity to arrest her. Yang An'er saw that her sister was arrested, so she had to prepare cow wine to ask for someone, but somehow it turned into a door-to-door proposal, so everyone was happy.

However, the record of Jin Shi is off with the notes of the Song people. It was said that Yang Miaozhen Pegasus threw a gun, and his gun went deep into the boulder as much as a foot, and Li Quan Pegasus went to pull it out, but it didn't pull it out...... So Li Quan dismounted and bowed, and the two became husband and wife.

In the history of the Song Dynasty, it was not said that they fought, it was more serious, but it was said that Li Quan was attached to Yang Miaozhen. Therefore, I think this fight, it should be Yang Miaozhen who won, first, Yang Miaozhen is active in the hinterland of Jin, and the Jin history record should be more reliable. The other one is that Dr. Song is likely to be unhappy with Yang Miaozhen and Sichen because of his preference for sons, so he made such a stroke in his notes. However, this one is very dramatic, and the writing is good.

After Yang An'er raised his army, he originally intended to return to the Song Dynasty, and he had a relationship with Ji Xian, a disciple of the hero Liu You, to tell his intention to return to the Song Dynasty. However, before it could be implemented, after the defeat in the area of Denglai in the seventh year of Jiading, he was killed by Zhouzi, who was greedy for bounty. At this moment, Li Quan moved to fight in the area of Yishui and Linqu hundreds of miles away, and Yang Miaozhen's army was in Li Quan's department, and he didn't have time to rescue. The remnants of Yang An'er were brought under the leadership of his maternal uncle Liu Quan to Yang Miaozhen's department, and Yang Miaozhen and Li Quan became the leaders of this Red Jacket Army and continued to resist Jin.

In the eleventh year of Jiading, through Ji Xian, who originally contacted Yang An'er, Li Quan returned to the Southern Song Dynasty at the invitation of Song Chuzhou Taishou Yingchun "at the invitation of his grandfather". In the twelfth year of Jiading, the deputy marshal of Jinzuo and the deputy envoy of the privy council, the prince of Sanan Zhenfu, Wanyan Shouxu, attacked the Song Dynasty, broke through the Song Dynasty and other places, and entered the three states of Chu, Hao and Guang. The Song court ordered all the military horses to fight, Li Quan, Yang Miaozhen's troops won consecutive battles, killed thousands of gold troops in the first battle of the vortex, and won another great victory in Huapi Lake, killed several golden generals, and won their gold medals, including the gold "four horses", pursued to Caojiazhuang and returned, and the three encirclements of the Jin army collapsed. Li Quan therefore led the title of assassin in Dazhou, and Yang Miaozhen was sealed

However, Yang Miaozhen and other anti-Jin rebels were famous, and the small court of the Southern Song Dynasty was very unhappy. In the eyes of the imperial court, these anti-Jin loyal and righteous troops are all from improper backgrounds, not troops directly led by the central government, and they are essentially thieves, so they must be cut off and then quickly. As a result, they took various measures to divide and disintegrate, cut off food and wages, block rivers and block their passages, and finally simply took advantage of Li Quan's army to fight the Mongol army in the north, and directly launched an attack to cover up his remaining troops, which was extremely complicated. In short, in the end, the Song army succeeded in killing Li Quan's family, including the children, and completely forced Li Quan and Yang Miaozhen to rebel.

In the fourth year of Song Shaoding (1231 AD), Li Quan began to counterattack the Song army to take revenge, although he killed several murderers, but he also died in the siege of the Song army. Song Jun joined forces with Jin Jun and tried to completely strangle Yang Miaozhen. After Yang Miaozhen learned of Li Quan's death, he knew that the general trend of the main force had gone, so he said to his generals: "Twenty years of pear flower guns, there is no opponent in the world." Now that the situation is gone, the pillars will not work. Thou shalt wait for those who have not descended, and I will be the same. If you don't want me, who will accept it? Now I want to return to the old Lianshui, you should tell the court, I want me to surrender, for I feel, has driven it over. Please surrender with this, but "The generals followed, and Yang Miaozhen broke through.

For this Yang Siniang, who was invincible in the world for 20 years with a pear flower gun, Song Shi said that she died a few years later, and there has been no record since then. And in various official histories, her deeds since then are also unknown, as if she has really returned to the old forest.

In fact, after Yang Miaozhen broke out of the encirclement of the Song and Jin coalition forces, he was not out of danger, and he has been fighting fiercely with the extermination forces of the Song and Jin sides. She resisted Jin for decades, her brother died at the hands of the Jin army, and her husband and family were killed by the Song army. And at this moment, she is located in the territory of Anhui in Shandong, Mongolia and Jin Zheng are inseparable, although she has also fought with Mongolia, but there is no irreconcilable deep hatred, in the face of the joint strangulation of Song and Jin, she finally returned to Mongolia.

The Mongol Great Khan Wokotai is very interesting, and at the moment worships Yang Miaozhen as the province of Shandong and Huainan, making her a real female feudal official, and the control is the frontline province directly facing the Song and Jin. Her troops, Shandong folk known as the "Women's Army", cover its name as the "Four Niangzi". According to Yang Miaozhen's words "Twenty years of pear flower gun, invincible in the world", she was about thirty or forty years old at the time. Yelu Chucai, who was the prime minister of Mongolia at the time, highly respected Yang Miaozhen, calling him "a famous family in the family, and a successor." childless, there is a big husband to do. The officials were convinced, and the court paid attention, so they awarded the officials of Dongtai, and Ji Shunan took care of their worries. ”

Yang Miaozhen later passed on to her and Li Quan's son, whose family was hereditary, and the Li family in Shandong was one of the famous families in the early Yuan Dynasty.

Judging from Yang Miaozhen's deeds, her Yang family pear flower gun is really out of the actual combat marksmanship of the military formation, and it has been invincible for decades, and she has never heard of a defeat, which can be called a stunt in the army. Qi Jiguang's Yang family gun is her way. Because when Qi Jiguang was talking about the Yang family gun, he once made it clear: "Therefore, it is said that the pear flower gun for 20 years is invincible in the world, and it is believed that it is true!" He said that the world's marksmanship at that time was still the Yang family gun, and it was not a lie.

Qi Jiguang is very confident in his marksmanship, not only the main skill promoted in the army is long weapons, but also once proudly said that the Yang family's marksmanship spread everywhere in the world is the same as my marksmanship. In fact, his most proud wolf is an extremely insidious weapon and usage, looking at the situation, it is also born from the spear.

At that time, Yu Dayou, another Ming Dynasty military god who was as famous as Qi Jiguang, was also a martial arts master. Yu Dayou's two-handed long sword swordsmanship was learned from Li Liangqin, which was one of the ancient military fighting techniques that were rarely circulated at that time.

Yu Dayou later wrote a book, called "The Book of Swords", but when he opened it, it was all about stick law, which was a public case that had not been solved for 400 years, and there was no clear answer so far. Mr. Ma Mingda, a contemporary scholar and martial artist of martial arts history, believes that the title of his book is the Book of Swords, which is said to be a stick method, but it may be that the sword is stored with a stick, which is the most reasonable explanation.

When Yu Dayou went south from the north to fight against the Japanese, he passed by Shaolin Temple, so he entered this martial arts holy land of Shaolin in the world. At that time, the Shaolin monks performed various skills for him, but Yu Dayou said that you didn't practice correctly, and then said a lot like this, and then the Shaolin monks bowed to him. The final result was that the old abbot sent two little monks to follow him to learn art, and returned to the temple after three years. The source of this incident can be seen in the inscription written by Yu Dayou for the reconstruction of the Shifang Zen Temple in Shaolin Temple, which was written at the request of one of the young monks who followed him to learn art that year.

It stands to reason that Yu Dayou must have done something with the Shaolin monk, and in the end he won the Shaolin monk, so that the Shaolin abbot sent the little monk to follow him to learn art. Whoever goes to Shaolin Temple and tells the monks that you are not practicing right, the result will inevitably be that the monks come up to make a move. Martial arts, where is it to rely on the mouth to say that you can distinguish the superior. It's just that this is a tablet written for Shaolin Temple, Yu Dayou is always not good at blatantly going down to Shaolin Temple to save face, saying that the monks can't beat him, and this section should be omitted by him.

So, did Qi Jiguang and Yu Dayou ever make a move?

Qi Jiguang said in his book that Yu Dayou once demonstrated the stick method to him. Judging from his account of this verse, the two of them should have done their own thing. One of the reasons is that as I said before, martial arts don't rely on words to distinguish between superior and inferior. These two grandmasters of martial arts in Chinese history, the most important thing is actual combat, how can they just talk about not practice when they meet to discuss martial arts. Second, it is the information revealed between the lines of Qi Jiguang's words.

Qi Jiguang's martial arts, judging from his writings, pays great attention to the first move, regardless of boxing, knife and marksmanship, as long as he gains the momentum, the opponent basically has only one way to lose, so the victory or defeat is often only between one or two hands. This is also very in line with the characteristics of the martial arts that he has studied in military formations. On the battlefield, swords and guns are rushing in the face, life and death are only between breaths, and it is possible for people to come and go calmly for dozens of rounds.

According to Qi Jiguang, Yu Dayou's stick method is only a poke after he succeeds, and the subsequent momentum is like a round stone turning on the mountain of ten thousand people, and there is no rest. From this point of view, Yu Dayou's stick technique is extremely fierce, and it is also an exquisite preemptive, once he is suppressed by the first hand, and then the offensive will be like a boulder rolling down the mountain, unstoppable.

Qi and Yu's martial arts coincides, and they are both extremely military array martial arts, which can be said to be the return of thousands of streams.

After that, Qi Jiguang said again, Mr. Yu's skills are several times better than mine, and he is right, once he loses power, there will be no recovery. Even if there is a chance to recover, but in the face of a martial arts master, a defeat will never return. In fact, not only stick method, marksmanship and other kinds of martial arts, are the same truth, I use this method to teach the army spear, the effect is very significant, "wonderful and wonderful".

Qi Jiguang said that Yu Dayou's skills are several times better than mine, which may be modest and admirable, but judging from the subsequent records, it is likely that the final result is indeed his defeat, and after losing the first move, he once found an opportunity to counterattack and try to recover the situation, but in the end it failed.

In addition, from what he said, it is likely that the two of them are competing in stick techniques, so he said that in fact, spears and other martial arts are also a truth. After that, Qi Jiguang integrated the advantages he absorbed from Yu Dayou's stick method into the marksmanship he promoted in the army, and the effect was very good.

I don't know if Qi Jiguang is beaten with a spear and Yu Dayou's stick, who is more powerful?
