VIP description and summary of writing ideas
Key words: 1. Join VIP, the public version update is postponed; 2. ("online novel" + "literati novel")/ 2. 3. The marriage system conforms to nature, and there should be a few; 4. Constantly add according to book reviews......
Hehe, I'm embarrassed to tell you that I've finally joined VIP......
In fact, this "Smoke and Dust on the Fairy Road" signed a contract with the starting point at the end of December last year. That time was because an HKUST alumnus told me that he had seen a pirated copy of Xianlu in a nearby bookstore, and I was very depressed and felt a little shocked when I heard it - so the starting point stretched out a warm little hand and signed a contract with me.
Later, I heard piracy news from book friends one after another, the most recent one was the day before yesterday, when some netizens saw pirated copies in Chongqing. Actually, after a few months, I've figured it out. The only suggestion is that I hope that all booksellers will step up their proofreading work a little bit when they go to print, so that there will not be so many typos -- the Chongqing bookseller complained: "There are a lot of other words, which affects reading." "It seems that the work of pirate booksellers needs to be improved.
If you say how much trouble it is to enter VIP this time, it is absolutely deceptive. Although it has been more than four months since the contract was signed, the starting station has not forced me to join the group (VIP) with a knife. I decided to enter this time because I felt that after tossing for so long and saving up for so long, I should have an explanation for myself. Even if you play games, it's quite depressing to stay where you are always and not be able to level up.
Whether I entered the VIP or not, now that I have a personal experience, I know that the author's thoughts are not the same as the readers'. Of course, having an income is one aspect, and this may be something that many authors consider. But for me, this may not be very important, which may be understandable to my brothers who often chat with me in the group.
The biggest reason for entering VIP is the desire to be recognized to a certain extent - in my own humble opinion, I feel that VIP qualification is more sacred and worth fighting for. After writing for so long, it may be more natural to desire some kind of more authoritative recognition. After lingering outside the VIP door for a long time, I always feel that I am a little marginalized, inferior to those VIPs, and maybe I will gradually become inferior...... Ha, it's a joke~
Maybe this kind of vanity may make you think more ridiculous or naïve, but I really think so. In a sense, I'm a lazy person, I don't know if I will be able to hold on to it one day, and I will find it more interesting to play games and read overlord books. In this way, it is also a set for myself, which can be regarded as a kind of spur. What's more, for me, there is still an academic burden, if there is no constraint, maybe one day I can't do it, really... That's it. :P
As far as the specific writing status is concerned, it is really difficult to stick to it after a long time - just like the analogy I played earlier, I can't upgrade when I play games, and I will always get tired of it. As far as I'm concerned, there is often a big difference between a good mental state and a bad mental state—the kind that is more susceptible to emotional influences. Now that I have entered VIP, as some book friends suggested earlier, it can be regarded as a little restrictive, or more motivated, and may be able to last a little longer.
Hehe, after entering the VIP, in addition to continuing to look forward to the public version of my fairy road from all book friends, I also hope that VIP book friends can strongly support my book, thank you:P!
By the way, I saw two book friends say today that the plot of this book hasn't developed much yet, and it's a bit hasty to enter the VIP - what I want to shout is: "Dude, I can't stand it~" Besides, the plot hasn't developed much yet, which doesn't mean that there is no plot; after all, there are nearly three volumes, and in retrospect, there are still a lot of plots. Maybe you don't have to wait until the protagonist is going to be in the picture, invincible, and married and concubine, before the plot can be unfolded, right?
Speaking of which, by the way, I would like to introduce some of the writing concepts of this book. In general, I want to write this "Smoke and Dust on the Fairy Road" as: ("Internet Novel" + "Literati Novel")/2. Just like the introduction of this book says, it is more popular, more funny, and more appropriately literary.
As far as the basic idea of the novel is concerned, I want to add some rationality on the basis of the so-called YY, and the breath of life is slightly stronger, not only limited to how strong the protagonist is, how attractive he is - these have been written by many predecessors and many classics, such as "I Am an Archmage", "*", "Dragon Warrior" and so on. I think they've reached heights that are hard for my generation to reach, and if I write along the same lines, I'll probably be treated as garbage.
So, in my book, in terms of the existing plot, although the protagonist Zhang Xingyan will inevitably have some adventures, some of the events he has experienced so far do not rely entirely on his unusual abilities. Often, his own intellect played a decisive role.
The "Zhang Xingyan" I want to create should be a cheerful, smart, easy-going, flexible, but very simple in nature. He may take some seemingly sideways measures, but his purpose must be just, and his starting point must be upright. Of course, he's only a sixteen-year-old boy at the moment, and he can't be able to do everything right, and he can do everything right—and occasionally there will be times when good intentions do bad things. I think that's all normal, and maybe we've all been there.
Although, in order to promote the plot, it is inevitable to give the protagonist some unusual abilities or encounters, but basically, Zhang Xingyan is a normal person: he is "pious", but he thinks that this is a stable job, although he may change his opinion in the future, he only has a pair of ordinary peasant parents, and they are still alive and well, he also likes to often look at a girl of the same age who is actually not very good, and so on......
Of course, in the first chapter of this book, the protagonist is set as a knowledgeable and literate person, because I think this is necessary - in the future, if you want to get ahead in cultivation or other fields, and achieve more outstanding achievements, if you are just an illiterate person, it is unrealistic; I can't expect an ignorant character to go far on the road of cultivating immortals that requires a high level of education; at the same time, I can't expect an illiterate guy to be able to get the favor of princesses and dragon girls- Personality charm is a very wonderful thing, I personally think that the author can not do whatever he wants, can not just rely on a deep look, just by virtue of a male body shock, tiger body trembling, or from the unknown part of the king, strong spirit, other people of the same sex or the opposite sex can be easily conquered. I think that unless such people of the same sex and the opposite sex are idiots, they should also have deep eyes, male body and tiger body trembling, and the spirit of a king......:P, right?
"The Internationale" says: "There has never been a savior in the world!"
Therefore, I decided to try to naturally shape the personality charm of the protagonist from multiple angles and through multiple events, so that he could infect the people around him.
Of course, it's not that I can't read and write, in fact, among them, there have been many talented characters, and even achieved unprecedented achievements, such as Lord Luding Gongwei Xiao Baowei, although he is illiterate, it does not prevent him from becoming my idol - but, do I have the profound skills of Mr. Jin Yong?: )
Because of such a protagonist, the main plot of this book is also clear. Zhang Xingyan will not suffer any grievances inexplicably, and will be suppressed to the point of breathlessness - even if there is, it will not be caused by the protagonist's character; if there is no real harm to himself, he will not take it to heart; if it causes substantial damage, the protagonist will never sit still, or swallow his anger, but will carry out "active defense" - in order to keep the book going, I believe that the final victory must belong to Xingyan! :P
This can also be seen from the musical instrument that the protagonist chooses to learn. Among the many portable national musical instruments, Xingyan has obtained the most common and popular flute, and the timbre of the flute is also very clear and melodious. This is probably the overall tone of the book. If he chooses a whimpering and whimpering tone, I'm afraid his personality will be more depressed, and the tone of the plot of the book will be more depressing.
Of course, this does not mean that all aspects of the book are comedy, as is the case with the voting that is now underway, only the bad guys are allowed to die, and the good guys are not allowed to die. Liu Tianwang recently said:
"Why can't he be hurt? Just because he's kind and he's stupid?"
Heaven is natural, and Heaven is inactive.
Lao Tzu said: "Heaven and earth are not benevolent, and all things are used as dogs" - what he means is that heaven is noble and quiet, and all existence is treated equally, and no one is favored and cared for.
Liu Tianwang's words are close to the truth.
So, Rui Niang died.
However, don't worry, I will never do anything that really hurts your feelings and makes you feel painful and unbearable. Remember my promise, heh~~
In addition to the characteristics of these pursuits mentioned above, I also want to try my best to make my book a little more romantic and legendary, and the novel is mainly based on character creation and plot with romantic and legendary flavors.
Although, it may not be enough for me to do this, or it will cost a lot of money - in fact, I think that it is easy to find treasures to upgrade, slash on the street, and fight each other, and it is relatively easy to write, but I think that if I do that, not only will it be boring to read, but I will also feel bored in writing. Besides, based on the same reason mentioned earlier, there are already many profound predecessors who have written similar classics with their amazing skills, so why should I pick up people's teeth and wisdom to make myself bored? :P
So, although it is difficult, I still try my best. Although, I have published a book, but unfortunately it is a network technology book (don't lie~ Shanghai Jiaotong University Press, ISBN 7-313-03535-7/TP393.1);
Therefore, although I have said so much, I may not be able to achieve it well in the end, I can only say that I will do my best, even if I enter VIP, I will not just catch up with the progress, but will try to do my best within the framework of my ability level, not perfunctory.
The above are my main writing ideas and concepts, and I would like to take this opportunity to talk about them with my friends. If there is anything wrong, please feel free to shoot bricks or send me a message directly. Thank you!
Hehe, finally, the process of writing this book is also the process of learning classical Chinese culture.
I think that the cultural traditions and essences accumulated by a nation over the years are the true inner soul and genes of this nation.
At a time when anti-Japanese voices are rising, I also keep pace with the times and say that it is necessary to boycott Japanese products, and it is also necessary to be vigilant against the revival of Japanese militarist ideology. However, I think it may be more necessary for young people of my age to know more about the essence of our own traditional culture. Perhaps only by truly comprehending the brilliant ideology and culture of Chinese Confucianism, Taoism, Legalism, and military will we be truly proud of the Chinese nation and will be able to study, live, and build our motherland more effectively. At that time, perhaps our anti-Japanese activities could be limited to the level of not buying other things.
Just as Stalin said when he resolutely held a military parade under the arrival of the German Nazi invaders, we can also say at that time:
"This group of people who have lost their conscience, have no personality, and are full of animal nature, Tian shamelessly calls for the elimination of the great Chinese nation, the national ...... of Confucius and Lao Tzu, Li Bai and Du Fu, Qu Yuan and Su Shi, Zhuge Liang and Yue Fei, Sima Qian and Cao Xueqin"
In a word, we should not focus all our attention on the introduction of "science" and "democracy", but unconsciously dilute and eliminate our brilliant thousand-year-old civilization and great national culture, philosophy, thinking, and etiquette from our blood. In that case, perhaps as a nation, it will almost die out on its own.
Of course, the present is just a moment in the history of the tenacious Chinese civilization, and I just hope that it will resonate with you and pay a little attention to it. For myself, choosing the theme of "Xianxia" means that I think it is closer to our traditional classical humanistic spirit. :)
Hehe, to exaggerate it, if our descendants laugh at us as a generation of lost national civilization, how bad it would be.
There may be some alarmist remarks, but they are just taking the opportunity to advocate it; : P
