"I can't help but mutter" inevitably seems repetitive, and there is a suspicion of selling literature. It might be better to use the phrase "Partridge Heaven" in a different way of expression.

When a person's greatest hope is disappointed, the sadness and loneliness in his heart may remind him of the words, but he will only recite it silently in his heart, and he is not in the mood to chant poetry, at most he will smile helplessly.
