Chapter Twenty-Eight: The Curse is Freedom and Sense
In the snowy and icy sky, where the living soul is extinct, how can there be such a red lotus in full bloom! Moreover, every lotus flower is full of vigorous vitality, and it is full of vigor and spirit, and it is not afraid of the extreme cold of this place at all. No matter how arrogant the wind and snow are, it can never be pulled out, but it spreads into a red light paving the ground, like a dream, incredible!
This ice and snow field is not comparable to ordinary snow mountains, and there are also snow lotus and other elixirs that are not afraid of the cold on the ordinary snow mountains, but that is because under the snow layer of such a snow mountain is the mountain stone and soil layer, which has its own power to nourish all things. It is important to know that the surface of the ice and snow field is covered with a snow layer that is several zhang thick and tens of zhang, which is formed by the condensation of cold air and water vapor in the wind, and is disturbed and fluttered by cold currents from time to time. Beneath the snow layer is a billion-year-old layer of ice of unknown thickness, as hard as steel, and difficult for living beings to enter. Under such circumstances, it is absolutely impossible to provide any earth to nourish all living beings.
So how did this piece of red lotus appear, and why did it grow so well when it was rooted in the ice and snow? And why did Huang Weiyang and the Thirty-two Phases come here again? It seems that they came here to find this piece of red lotus, and apparently they have known about the existence of these red lotuses for a long time. Could it be that these red lotuses are some kind of precious and rare elixir? Just like the stories that have been passed down in the mouths of those cultivators?
But things are not right, looking at the expressions and demeanors of Huang Weiyang and the thirty-two phases, it doesn't look like they are not here to collect elixir. Especially the thirty-two phases, looking at the red lotus with tears streaming down his face, he also sat cross-legged on the ground and recited the secret mantra of Buddhism, but the expression on his face was not blindly sad, but sad and joyful, revealing a trace of relief in the extreme sadness. This expression, coupled with the sound of thirty-two peaceful and pure chanting mantras, echoed in this land of red lotus, and in this quiet ice and snow land where everything held its breath, a solemn silence suddenly appeared. Faced with this situation, Huang Weiyang, who has always been improper, also restrained his jokes, straightened his figure, and sat respectfully on the side. It does not bother the thirty-two phases in the slightest.
Although Huang Weiyang is a disciple of Taoism, he has a wide range of knowledge and knows a lot about the practice of Buddhism. When he has cultivated to such a realm, all the laws come from the heart, one qiē method enters the eyes, and the body and mind have their own realization. Nor will it stick to a corner. At the beginning, he fought with Chenning Pavilion at Xuanque Peak, and he used the means of Buddhism. Therefore, the moment the mantra was recited by the thirty-two phases, he knew that this was a supreme secret mantra of Buddhism, called the Great Freedom Divine Power Induction Mantra! In the practice of Buddhism, practicing this mantra can obtain the merit of the induction of all things, and it is ruthless, even if it is a mountain, rock, grass and tree, and even a deceased living being, this mantra can be heard. Sympathize with the person who bears the spell.
In Buddhism, this mantra is also called the stone nodding mantra. Why is there such a strange name? It has something to do with the monk who created this mantra. The Buddhist monks of the past generations have created countless secret mantras, each with its own use. The sound of the incantation comes from the sound of all things in heaven and earth, but it is not just the sound of all things. Although the sound of all things is the source of the mantra, it does not have the merit of the mantra.
It is said that the high monk Dharma name Yuetian, who created the mantra of the great freedom and supernatural power, once entered meditation on the top of a mountain called Mt. Komeru, and attained enlightenment to become a Buddha. Little Sumeru Mountain is also known as Cloud Mountain in Buddhism. In fact, there is no such mountain between heaven and earth, but it is a mountain that monks can turn into in their spiritual practice. It is necessary to practice a mental method called the transformation of Mount Meru. Once the Buddhist monks have cultivated this method, they will turn their thoughts into their bodies and climb this mountain to practice.
What is the subtlety of such a bizarre cultivation? Of course, there is, in fact, Mount Meru is known as the highest peak in Buddhism. That's why it's called Mt. Iruun. The so-called entering the clouds means that the clouds are in the clouds, and they can get an unobstructed view. Climb this mountain and see everything around this mountain. And what different monks see on Mt. Kosumeru is different. There is a very strict precept in Buddhism, but anyone who climbs Mount Meru sees a qiē. It can't be revealed to others, not even one's own teacher. If the Master asks such a question to himself, he will be punished with extremely severe precepts.
Monks who climb Mount Kosumeru often gain something, and the most common thing is to comprehend a unique way of practice, which is the most suitable practice for the monk himself. There are no precepts for these teachings, and monks can pass on their comprehension to others, even if they are not monks. As for whether the object is opportune, acceptable, and sustainable, that is the cause and effect that the Dharma transmitter has to bear.
The great monk of Yuetian is not a monk in the world, but a strange monk of Buddhism hundreds of years ago. Legend has it that he had no cultivation or certificate in his life, and at first he was just a crippled person brought back by a monk from the Ten Senses Temple of the Buddha Gate and the Ten Virtues Temple of Lizhen Peak. At that time, when this disabled person was brought to Wuxiang Peak, he was almost on the verge of death because of the unimaginable torture of his enemies in the world. The flesh and blood are blurred, and there is no good piece of meat up and down, not to mention, and he squints, has a broken hand, is missing a leg, and is missing an ear, plus the enemy who killed him is still the person he once dearested, so the body and mind have been greatly impacted, the seven emotions are restless and crazy, and he has become a madman, and when he sees anyone, he will roar and pounce on it, tearing and biting, and after forcing everyone to leave, he will slowly curl up to a corner and cry bitterly, revealing a very frightened look, like a wounded beast.
The descendants of the monks who brought this dying disabled man back to the Ten Zens Temple no longer know, and no one thought that the dying man would survive, but he was afraid that he would die after a few days of struggle. But after all, the Buddhist monks were compassionate, and seeing that this dying man was so pitiful, he still sent two monks to take care of him attentively. I don't know if I realized that the monk was not malicious, or if it was because the others didn't know about it. Under the care of the two monks, the dying person not only did not die, but actually got better day by day, and his state of mind became more and more peaceful, and his consciousness gradually returned to normal, but he was disabled but there was no way to recover.
Surprisingly, the disabled people who have improved have not become close to other monks or embark on the path of practicing Buddhism. But he didn't leave the Ten Senses Temple, and stayed on the Liyan Peak. He also knew that he couldn't stay there to eat and drink for nothing, so one day, I don't know where he got a broom, and began to sweep the ground in Dahui Temple.
The Ten Senses Temple is in the Dirt Peak, which is one of the ten major mountains of Buddhism in the cultivation world, and this peak is called the Dirt Peak. Of course, it was clean and clean, how could there be any dust in the temple? The broom that this disabled man was holding was made of pine branches, and he was lame on one leg and had lost one hand, and he was extremely hard to sweep, but he was unusually serious, and he swept it again and again inside and out every day. The monks who came and went were also very strange when they saw this. Isn't it ridiculous that the inside and outside of the temple are spotless, and even the fallen leaves do not fall to the ground, and they become ashes in the air and float out of the dirt peak?
Among them, there are also stable monks who believe that this disabled person should do this in order to be able to stay in the Ten Senses Temple with peace of mind, so as to prove that he is useful and avoid being driven away. Seeing that he was disabled, he couldn't bear it, so he went to report to the master of the mountain. Unexpectedly, the resident mountain master who was away from the dirt peak at that time heard about it and rushed over to take a look. After saying only two words, "let him be", he turned away and ignored it again.
In this way, the disabled man settled in Liyan Peak, ignoring it, just burying his head in sweeping the floor, even if someone talked to him, he completely ignored it. Every day he walked in and out of the Ten Senses Temple with his broom, and over time, the monks also got used to his storage. Because I don't know his name, I see him carrying a big broom every day. They all call him a broom.
The flowers bloom and fall, and the disabled broom has lived on the dirt peak for forty years, and has become an old man with white beard and white hair, but he still sweeps the floor every day, and has never had a day of rest, and the pine needles on his pine needle broom have turned from green to yellow. From yellow to bald, in the end, I can only abandon it and use it, and I don't know how many handfuls have been swept away. On this day, the monks were doing their morning service in the main hall. By the Ten Senses Temple's resident mountain, the precept master, and the Dharma seat together lead the monks to practice the preliminaries, reciting the light mantra, the entire Liyan Peak is full of peaceful mantra sounds, if you look at the Liyan Peak from a distance, you can see that there are bursts of holy light sent out in all directions.
At this time, the brooms are honestly swept outside the main hall, and they will never enter to disturb. The rules in the Ten Senses are very strict, and if you disturb the preliminaries, you will be punished by 10 days of confinement. Unexpectedly, on this day, when the monks' recitation of the mantra of light reached its climax, the broom suddenly threw down the pine needle broom in his hand, stepped into the main hall and came to the three masters of Zhushan, the precept master, and the Dharma seat, and respectfully kowtowed.
The broom knocked his head hard, but when his forehead touched the ground, the entire Liyan Peak was shaken a few times by the great earthquake, and all the monks in the main hall were shocked physically and mentally, and they could no longer continue to chant the mantra, so they all stopped. Seeing that it was the disabled man kneeling there, they were all taken aback! Just now they were concentrating on chanting the mantra, but no one noticed that the broom entered, could it be that the vibration just now was actually because of him, could it be that this broom has cultivated some kind of great magical power. For a while, all the monks, you look at me, I look at you, their faces are full of doubts, and they all turn their heads and whisper.
The preliminaries, seeing that the monks were shocked and noisy, the ordination master of the three great monks on the first seat was the first to open his eyes, and his blazing eyes swept towards the hall, and shouted in a deep voice: "Silence!"
The monks have always been in awe of the majesty of the precept master, and the cheers in their ears were suddenly silenced, and the hall became silent. At this time, the precept master's fierce gaze swept over the disabled person kneeling there, and without saying a word of superfluous nonsense, he turned around and shouted to the two monks on the side: "Law enforcement monk, take this person who disturbs the preliminaries, take him to a quiet room and confinement for ten days, remember that he is old and has no physical and mental cultivation, and he is allowed to drink water!"
Since he had made a ruling, the two law enforcement monks immediately stepped forward to drag the broom and lock him in the ashram. They also secretly wondered in their hearts, not knowing what happened to the broom that had always felt as if there was no zài today, it was really incomprehensible. Hey, this old guy is going to suffer a lot now, he has nothing to eat in the ashram, but the silent silence is the most unbearable, even the most arrogant, bold and unruly monks in the temple will shrink their necks when they hear the word ashram.
Just as the hands of the two were about to grasp the broom's arm, suddenly the Dharma seat on the other side opened his eyes and said slowly, "Wait! He hasn't behaved out of the ordinary in forty years, and there should be a great reason for his sudden disruption of the puja today." Shall I wait and hear what he has to say?"
However, the precept master said, "No matter what the reason is, since he has already disrupted the puja, he should be punished first, and as for whether there is anything inside, it will not be too late for him to come out of the ashram." ”
Dharma Seat said: "Since the puja has been stopped, this matter can be decided now, so why delay it for more time, but it will lead to ten days of speculation by the monks. ”
The precept master was about to argue, but the Dharma Seat asked Zhushan, who was in the middle, "What does the senior brother think?" Seeing this, the precept master saw this. I had to press the conversation and listen to what to do with it.
At this time, the great monk who was sitting between the precept master and the Dharma seat slowly opened his eyes, his eyes were kind, and he said to the broom: "I have been silent for forty years, and once I want to express my heartfelt feelings, it must be an extraordinary word. What do you want to say. Let's just say it!"
The monk in the mountain allowed the broom to speak, and the precept master said no more. Among the Buddhist gates, one mountain and one temple, the resident mountain is the master of a temple, so he naturally wants to listen to him. It's just that he glanced at the Dharma Seat more, and the Dharma Seat's actions just now certainly made him a little unhappy.
However, all the monks in the entire hall couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief when they heard the words of the master stationed in the mountain, and they were all curious, wondering why this most honest broom had done such an astonishing act? In that case, they would have been curious for ten days. Now you can hear it right away. Therefore, everyone couldn't help but concentrate on their minds, pricked up their ears, and some even activated their ear powers, for fear of hearing out.
The monks looked at him, but he saw that the broom kowtowed again, then stood up from the ground, and pointed to his left eye and then his right eye with his still intact right hand. He rolled his eyes a few times, and then pointed to his left ear, which had long since been cut off. There was only one scar left, only a flesh and bone like a small bud, and then he flicked his intact right ear a few times, then pointed to his empty left sleeve, and then shook his right hand with the whole arm of his left hand, and finally pointed to his left leg with a broken knee, and then jumped in place with his right leg a few times...... After this qiē is done. The broom knelt down again, kowtowed heavily to the mountain, and lay motionless on the ground.
When the monks saw this, they were all dumbfounded and looked at each other. I didn't know what the broom meant, and even the squinting master couldn't help frowning, obviously not knowing what the broom meant, and the entire hall was already extremely quiet, and I was extremely puzzled.
Suddenly, he sighed softly and said: "You have been in the temple for forty years, sweeping with pine needles, and removing the dust in your heart for all the monks, and it is not in vain that I saved your life." I heard that all the monks call you a broom, the dust on the ground is easy to sweep, who can cleanse the bright moon in the nine days? From now on, don't call it a broom again, this mountain will give you a Dharma name, and it will be called Yuetian! Amitabha, you go!
The broom, who was originally prostrate on the ground motionless, heard the great monk in the mountain say this, and suddenly stood up from the ground, turned around and left, and strode out of the temple gate after a while. He was already very old and disabled, with only one foot, but when the monks saw him step, although the other foot was still mutilated, his body movement was exactly the same as that of a person with sound hands and feet, and his right foot stepped out, and his left thigh was thrown out, as if there was an invisible calf supporting it, and it was not at all the kind of person who only had one foot that needed to jump forward.
When the monks saw this, they both understood and confused, and understood that the broom survived not for no reason, but in the mountains and secretly attacked. What was confused was Zhushan's words, which obviously meant that the broom had achieved success, and he was also given a law name. But how did he practice? The monks only saw him sweeping the floor, and no one had ever seen him do anything else, and he had not even done the basic preliminaries, chanting mantras, so how could he have achieved success? And judging from the words of the resident mountain master and his various expressions, it seems that the achievements are not small?
The broom, no, should be called the Great Monk of the Moon Heaven from now on, just after he walked out of the temple gate. All the monks set their sights on the great monk stationed in the mountain. The great monk of the Dharma seat said: "This matter is incredible, it turned out to be the secret practice of the senior brother, and the monk of Yuetian has finally achieved it, which is really joyful and amazing." It's just that everyone doesn't know what method Senior Brother Fang Cai and Yuetian have revealed, how to explain it, and I hope that Senior Brother will be merciful and relieve me!"
The great monk stationed in the mountain smiled slightly, and said to all the monks present: "Did you all hear what Yuetian said just now?"
What? What was the broom talking about?
As soon as these words came out, all the monks were shocked. The so-called saying in Buddhism refers to the fact that the great monks who have attained the cultivation of the Buddha have taught various ways of practicing in public, or enlightened various states of mind for liberation. Some of them are directly showing the realm of supernatural powers, some are using wonderful words and wisdom to make the listeners hear, and some are even more clever monks who directly use the method of empowerment to break through obstacles and induce wisdom, and believe in blessings...... In short, depending on the monks, the wonderful response is also different.
But what kind of Dharma is he talking about, and why is he not aware of it? This makes the monks present a little puzzled? If so, wouldn't anyone with long hands be fine?
Seeing that all the monks present were puzzled, the Dharma seat, one of the three great monks sitting on it, got up in full clothes, came to the place where the monk knelt in Yuetian just now, and bowed to the great monk stationed in the mountain according to what he did: "Senior brother is merciful. The method of saying is profound and mysterious, and the group is puzzled. As the Dharma seat of the Ten Senses Temple, I invite the public, hoping that the senior brother will break through the confusion, so that everyone can understand it, so as to encourage practice. After saying that, the throne bowed three times and then returned to its original seat.
This is the ritual of the Dharma, and the Buddhists believe that the Dharma should not be taken lightly. When you want to hear something, and you want to ask for benefits from the great monks, the first thing should be that there is a cause, and you must not invite without a cause. The second must be with a very solemn number of bows, or prostration, or prostration, which is called an invitation. The so-called enlightened person is also enlightened, and the enlightenment is also enlightened.
After the Throne is inaugurated. All the monks in the hall left their seats and bowed to each other. Take what you see as the fate, take the suspicion as the clear, and take the desire to hear as the enlightenment, and ask the monk in the mountain to explain.
After the three invitations, the great monk in the mountain said: "Since the monks are willing to hear something, this mountain should be explained to the public." The appearance of the moon and the sky. One eye sees but one sees, one ear hears but one does not hear, one hand can hold but the other hand does not, one foot can do but one foot can't. The law that Yuetian said is not seen or seen. It is not heard, it is not unheard, it is not obsessed, it is not obsessed, it is not detached, it is not deed. Nirvana is pure, not doing it, not living in it, it is a merit!"
After saying this, the great monk turned to the precept master and said, "We are waiting to practice the method of preliminaries, in order to seek liberation from nirvana. The method that Yuetian said is special to this, so he will be exempted from punishment!" After that, regardless of whether the monks had comprehended it or not, the next seat floated away, leaving a hall of stunned bald heads.
But after that day, there was no other change in the broom that became the moon, and every day he still held his pine needle broom and cleaned inside and outside the ten senses. But strange to say, from that day on, all kinds of dust began to appear on the originally spotless ground of Shizenji Temple, and the leaves that fell from the trees planted around them no longer turned into ashes and floated out of the dirt peak, but fell to the ground one after another, and needed to be cleaned by monks. In this way, in addition to the moon, the monks are also arranged by the Dharma seat to take turns cleaning every day.
After the Yuetian monk continued to sweep the land for another ten years, he sat in the Ten Senses Temple. On the day he left, countless red lights poured out of his body, like flames. The body of the monk of Yuetian dissolved in this flame, and the entire void suddenly sounded a secret mantra, which was heard by the monks of the Ten Senses Temple, which was the supreme tantric sect that later spread in the Buddhist sect - the Great Freedom Divine Power Induction Mantra.
Monk Yuetian has been sweeping the floor of the Ten Senses Temple, and has never shown supernatural powers, and the monks in the temple have not seen him behave abnormally except for witnessing him suddenly breaking into the temple that day to disrupt the preliminaries. It wasn't until he sat down and sounded this mantra that everyone knew that his cultivation realm was at least above the realm of knowing fate! However, for thousands of years, the Dirt Peak, which has always been spotless, has also become a dust-stained place since the appearance of the Moon Heaven monks.
Although many monks heard about this mantra at the Ten Zen Temple that day, only one of them actually wrote it down. After practicing this for several years, the monk was reciting this mantra one day on the peak of Liji, and suddenly he saw that many peaks several miles away were bent frequently, as if nodding to him. He was taken aback, and as soon as the sound of the mantra ceased, the peaks stood still. When he was chanting again, the peaks began to nod to him again. So the monk's confidence was greatly increased, and Shi Shan was still able to nod his head, how could he not be successful in practicing this mantra?
So the monk was determined to practice this mantra specifically, and in the end he also achieved great success. Before sitting, carefully admonished, this mantra was taught to the disciples, in order to strengthen the disciples' confidence, the mountain nodding thing was passed on, and from then on this mantra got the name of the stone nodding mantra!
At this time, the thirty-two phases chanted this secret mantra on this ice and snow field, what was he going to do? Is it to attract this piece of red lotus to correspond, or is it the ice and snow around him? At this moment, he has already cut the Dharma and scattered his thoughts, and his body has no magical power, what can he do with this mantra?
I saw that just after the thirty-two phases chanted this great freedom supernatural power sensing mantra over and over again, the red lotuses all over the ground really began to sense, releasing bursts of red light that shone on the void of lead clouds. Three shadowy figures suddenly appeared in the clouds, which were a little blurry at first, but later became clearer and clearer, and people could recognize their faces at a glance. These phantoms show exactly what happened in this place.
Huang Weiyang recognized at a glance who these three people were, two of them were bald, one of them was Lianhua Immortal, and the other was a black-robed person. In fact, before coming here, he knew that one of them was the Buddha Lotus Huazun, which was the purpose of the 32 phases asking him to bring him here. As for the other black-robed man, holding a black knife and having an evil aura, there is no doubt that he is a black armor. What is surprising is that the remaining bald head is not standing with Lianhua Immortal, but standing beside Hei Jia, opposing Lianhua Zun.
Huang Weiyang didn't know who the bald head was before he came here, because the thirty-two phases didn't sue him. But at this moment, he already knew that the remaining third person was none other than the Venerable Yunye who was known as the Vajra God in Buddhism. According to what Hei Jia said in the Yishan before, he killed Lianhuazun with another person, and it looked like this King Kong God from the front of him.
It turned out that the thirty-two phases recited the Great Freedom Divine Power Mantra here, not for anything else, but to see with their own eyes the process of the Black Armor and the Vajra God killing Lianhuazun. And this red lotus all over the ground is nothing else, it is the blood of Lianhuazun's body! (To be continued......)
