82. Castle Peak Bay
On the weekend, the class organizes activities and goes to Castle Peak Bay.
At the instigation of my friends, I finally signed up, despite the fact that I didn't want to go in my heart. Maybe going out and having fun will help you regain your mood.
After class on Saturday morning, we set off. Since I was going to the beach and was going to spend the night there, I brought an extra change of clothes in case I needed it.
As soon as everyone found a place to put their things in the makeshift straw hut on the beach, a group of people couldn't wait to take off their clothes and rush out into the sea with joy.
"Let's go swim together!" Peanut and Lang shouted at me as they raised their freshly bought swimming trunks above their heads and stood not far away.
"Wait!" I agreed, but didn't leave.
Peanut and Xiaolang didn't care about me anymore and ran straight into the dressing room on the side.
Sitting on the beach in front of the grass hut, comfortably blowing the sea breeze, looking up at the beautiful scenery of the sea and sky, my mood has been relaxed like never before.
"Xiaobei, why are you sitting here alone? Go down! Everyone is playing below!" Just when I was about to fall asleep in a trance, I saw A-Qing walking up from the beach with a wet dress.
"Why didn't you go down without taking off your clothes?" I looked at A-Qing in amazement.
"It's okay to dry it in a while, let's go down and play, how boring it is to be alone!" Ah Qing said as he took off his jacket, wrung it out vigorously, and then dried it on a barbed wire in the grass shed.
"That'...... Then I'll change my clothes and ......," I reached for a pair of changed pants from my backpack on the table next to me. I didn't bring swimming trunks, so I just made do with it, anyway, it was a mesh cloth, and it would dry after a while.
"Then hurry up, I'll go down first!" Ah Qing dried his clothes and ran down again with his bare arms.
When I came to the beach, I found that this beach had become the world of my classmates, and the girls were treading the waves and playing in the water, while the boys were all soaking in the sea, swimming in groups. I walked slowly into the depths of the ocean, and in a moment the water was more than half of me.
When they go ashore, almost everyone has a salty fishy smell on them, which is unique to the sea.
Soon, the locker room was filled with people waiting to take a shower. After changing clothes, everyone took photos on the beach one after another, and the camera froze all the memories of beautiful youth in this moment.
After swimming, everyone felt hungry, and under the arrangement of the class leader, we set up barbecue grills according to the previously divided groups. Immediately afterwards, everyone took out the charcoal from the sack and put it under the grill, because the sea was very humid, the fire was not lit for a long time. Lighters, newspapers, and all kinds of ignition utensils went into battle together, and after tossing for a long time, the charcoal was finally burned.
The next thing is the barbecue, speaking of barbecue, each of us is almost already a veteran, brushing oil, turning skewers, everyone is focused, busy, and soon the aroma overflows the entire grass shed.
Do it yourself, have plenty of food and clothing. Everyone was eating and roasting, and although sometimes the tears were smoked out because of the fire being too hot, everyone was very happy. For a moment, I forgot about my sorrow, forgot about Lele, and immersed myself in this rare lightness.
"Becky, come with me for a walk outside. "I was eating chicken wings, and Xiaojing suddenly walked in front of me.
"Oh well. I replied casually, hurriedly gnawed the chicken wings in my hand in a few bites, then grabbed a tissue and wiped it, and then got up and followed Xiaojing out of the grass shed.
The two of us kept walking forward, the beach was long, and there was no end in sight, but we didn't stop, maybe there was something we were looking for at that end.
Xiaojing told me that recently she fell in love with a boy from the next class, and she was willing to do it silently, and when needed, she would try her best to help that boy. The sun gradually began to set, and the fiery red sunset was reflected in the endless sea, which was particularly beautiful, and it turned out that everyone was working hard for their own happiness.
Not long ago, a girl from the Tennis Association committed suicide by jumping off a building in her dormitory. And she, Xiaojing and I both know each other, which also makes us involuntarily talk about this topic.
Later, Xiaojing told me a story, a story about herself, a story about her closest person, who was close enough to call her brother, who left her own life.
It turns out that we have the same sadness, but on Xiaojing's face, I have always seen happiness, and sometimes, maybe it's not a good thing to hide.
"Let's go back!"
When we returned to the grass hut, the barbecue activity was coming to an end, and the students were singing and singing, playing cards, and our young laughter was everywhere. I don't know when Xiaojing disappeared, she was a little idle, so she took a bottle of beer and walked slowly to the outside of the grass shed. On the beach, a bonfire was going on, so I found a clean sand area and sat down far away.
"Li Xiaobei, why are you sitting here, why don't you go over and play together?" The head teacher happened to pass by me and couldn't help but lean over and ask.
"Hehe, I want to sit alone. I said perfunctorily.
"Let's go play with everyone! it's so boring to be alone!" the head teacher patted me on the shoulder and whispered a word of persuasion.
When the head teacher walked away, I got up and returned to the grass hut, Xiao Lang was fighting with a few people in the dormitory next door, and when he saw me come in, he immediately handed me a bottle of wine, and wanted to blow the bottle with me with a playful face.
Bottle blowing has never been my strong point, and as soon as I drank half of the bottle, I couldn't stand it.
"I'll do it. I don't know where Xiaojing came from, but she snatched the wine bottle in my hand and drank the rest of the wine.
"If you can't drink it, call me, I'll help you!" Xiaojing smiled and stared at me, then stuffed the empty bottle back into my hand, turned around and ran outside again. Everyone was busy with their own business, and I was the only one, tugging at the empty bottle, not knowing where to go......
It's late autumn now, and it's by the sea, so it's needless to say it's cold.
Before I knew it, it was the second half of the night, and I couldn't help but feel a little sleepy, but fortunately there were some residual embers of the barbecue under the barbecue, so I added a few more pieces of charcoal to it, re-ignited the fire, and then lined up the chairs in the straw hut side by side, and lay down with my coat.
The chair was too hard, and the sleep was hard, but after all, it was the only way. I don't know when the fire went out, but I felt colder and colder the more I slept, and around 5 a.m., I finally woke up from the cold.
It was quiet, except for a few students who had been playing poker all night.
So I walked out of the hut alone, sat on the beach, looked at the faint light of the sky, and waited quietly for the dawn.
