Located in the northern part of Shinshin Town, the Shimizu River crosses the forest leading to Joban City and flows east into the sea.

The water is extremely clear, and the banks of the river are lined with lush vegetation and dotted with special white reefs.

It is home to many water-based Pokémon, and the vicious Pokémon Tyrannosaurus can be seen downstream of the river. Fishing enthusiasts often go fishing along the riverside.

Where there is a drop in the topography, the river forms a small waterfall.
