peanut
First of all, the title of the article is read as "lao" peanuts, which may actually mean fishing peanuts, which refers to the fact that after the owner has finished harvesting the peanuts, the people who are not the owner have cleaned the land again with the permission of the owner's family, referred to as "lao", I habitually imagine this word as falling, and I don't know when it happened.
During the summer vacation of college, I stayed at home for two whole months, and my daily work was to chat with my mother, and write novels that no one reads in the middle of the night, this kind of day is very comfortable for me, I never thought that going out to work has subsidized the family, maybe I don't have that kind of awareness, I don't think I spend a lot of money, because I have always been more frugal.
At the end of the summer vacation, it is also the season when the peanuts are ripe and landing, the day is still hot like a stove, under the greeting of the aunt in the same village, my mother knows that once the peanut field has just been harvested, the village has gone to drop peanuts, and I also participated in this "collective activity" when I was idle at home.
To be honest, at the beginning, I was full of passion and decided to make half a pocket of peanuts, so that the family did not have to buy peanuts for the New Year, but the weather was very hot, and I consumed the ice water and apples I brought from home early, especially the peanut field needs enough sunlight, so it grows in an unsheltered land, and there are only wild grasses and insects in the wild grass.
It probably didn't take more than an hour before I felt a little exhausted, and I didn't want to move at all, so I found a place to rest, and watched my mother work, and at that moment I felt that my mother was tall and full of brilliance, not because she had done anything that touched heaven and earth, but because she was shining in her son's heart.
I think she is also tired, how can she not be tired after working for so long, but she is probably used to it, she is an authentic farmer, she has worked with the land all her life, of course she has worked as a tailor in the middle, but in the end she still returned to the land, and at that time there was nothing more reassuring to her than the land.
I often don't understand her behavior, and even think that she is a stubborn, inflexible traditional woman, like most rural women, she likes to bargain when buying things, loves to take advantage of small advantages, and will quarrel with others, but she is indelible as a mother of three children, everything she does comes from motherhood, a great love and care.
Anyone who has read some of my previous articles should know that I am infinitely grateful and devout to my mother, who is the greatest person to me.
In fact, at that time, the idea of falling peanuts was tantamount to an idea of getting something without work, others ploughed in spring and harvested in autumn, and took care of it every day, and we only needed to harvest, in fact, it was not, the harvest also needed to pay, and there was no such thing as getting something without work.
Isn't the mother's work over the years the foundation of the children's life, they are not tired, they just hope that the children are less tired.
