Chapter 141: The Way of the Competition

"If you like it, I can give you these books!" Alan is very generous, these books are still very interesting to read as novels, and I have to say, some of the knowledge in them is indeed very practical.

"Thanks, that's great! I can take it to Ilvermoni and see it. Jessica looked very happy.

"What? What did you just say?" Jessica, who was excited, spoke a little fast, and Alan didn't hear clearly, so he asked suspiciously.

"Ilvermony, it's the best magic school in the world!" said Jessica, looking proud.

"I think you'll find that the best school in the world is called Hogwarts. Alan couldn't help but retort.

"Nonsense. Jessica frowned.

"Jessica, Ian, I'm back!" Leonard's voice came from a bowl-shaped metal in the room that looked exactly like the hall downstairs, and it came just in time to break the awkward scene in the room.

"Uncle is back!" Jessica happily rushed downstairs with her book in her hand.

Professor Flitwick and Alan glanced at each other, and then walked out of the room and into the hall downstairs.

Ian was already downstairs, and he took Leonard's coat and hung it on a magic hanger by the fire so that it would stay dry.

"Hey, Filius, I hope you have a nice night!" Leonard and Professor Flitwick exchanged a few pleasantries, and then sat down in their dining chairs.

Jessica commanded the food to fly to his plate. "Hah, it's delicious! I'm hungry today!" said Leonard, enjoying his dinner comfortably and calmly.

After eating, Leonard was flushed and sat on the couch in the hall chatting with Professor Flitwick.

Professor Flitwick showed Leonard the Billy Wigg worm that Alan had caught today, and Jessica and Ian both leaned over with great interest to take a look.

"I heard that after being stung by it, it can float up in a flickering way. Ian was eager to take the plunge.

"Once you have a severe allergic reaction, what awaits you may be permanent wandering!" Jessica warned, glancing at her brother.

"I don't know how many magical creatures are still roaming the city, and we've captured quite a few today, but there are still some that don't know where to go. Leonard looked at the Billy Wigg worm in his hand, and his mind was shifted to work again.

"I'm afraid I won't be able to accompany you on a good tour of New York this time!" Leonard looked at Professor Flitwick apologetically, his Christmas vacation had been ruined by the sudden prison robbery, and he felt very sorry for Professor Flitwick who had come from afar.

"It's okay, we're here this time to fulfill your wishes, let Ian and Alan try to see who is better!" Professor Flitwick said, pretending not to care.

Alan and Ian looked at each other, and both saw in each other's eyes the determination to win.

"It's getting late today, you should be very tired, it's not a good time to duel. Let's let a few kids do what they can to the wizarding world and find the escaped magical creatures!See who catches the most magical creatures!" Leonard's eyes lit up and he thought of a great idea.

"Good idea! However, if you encounter a magical creature that you can't deal with, don't rush into it, just notify us to come. Professor Flitwick admonished.

"I want to go too!" Jessica was excited to participate in this meaningful and interesting competition.

"Of course, after all, you're a fifth-year wizard, so remember to take care of Ian and Allen. Leonard agreed without hesitation. Although Ian is more talented, Jessica is more stable and reliable.

At night, a violent snowstorm hits the glass window, and in this foreign land, Alan falls asleep with the longing for his family!

Early in the morning, Alan woke up early, and it was bright outside. It's not that the sun has risen, it's that everything outside is covered with a thick layer of snow.

Alan gently and quietly dressed himself and walked out the door.

The hillside next to the house is bathed in white reflections, and a few wisps of mist ethereal in the forest glade on the slope or float on the meandering river.

The scene exudes a particularly tranquil look, even when the morning of the farm is announced, without any disturbance.

Alan made a few simple movements, and before he knew it, the dawn was pouring out from the east.

After a few moments, the sky broke and the sky was full of the clear light of dawn, white and clear.

The mist dissipated in the light of the red sun, which was gradually becoming more brilliant, and Alan finished his morning workout.

When I returned to my room, I happened to bump into Jessica, who was getting up to make breakfast.

The cold air brought in by Allen made Jessica, who had just left the warm bed not long ago, shiver slightly, and couldn't help but shudder slightly.

"Ah, I'm sorry!" Alan quickly closed the door and stood a little farther away.

"It's okay, good morning! Are you going for your morning exercise?" Seeing the thin sweat on Alan's forehead, Jessica guessed Alan's movements.

"Yes, it's my habit. Alan nodded and smiled politely and went to the bathroom to clean.

"What an energetic teenager!" Jessica walked to the kitchen, busy.

Ingredients float out of the cupboard, and Jessica magically transforms them into the ingredients of a great meal – carrots and apples are automatically chopped, batter is rolled up automatically, and pans are stirred automatically......

When Alan finished washing up and sat down at the table, Jessica waved her wand, and raisins, apple puree, and dough flew into the air, mixed together, neatly folded into a cylindrical pie, and baked in place.

When it was almost baked, the sugar jar flew out of the cupboard and sprinkled the frosting evenly on both sides of the pie. The pie looked delicious!Alan couldn't help but take a deep breath.

There was a sudden knocking sound by the window, and several owls stood outside the window.

"Alan, help, I can't get out of it for a while. Jessica was directing the pies to fly to the white plate, and she was garnishing the plate with some fruit.

Alan opened the window, and the owls flew in, neatly lined up, as if they had received a silent order, and stretched out their left legs in unison. Alan hurriedly untied the newspapers tied to their legs in turn.

"There are copper nats in the coffee table drawers, you can give them. Jessica hurriedly shouted.

Alan paid the owls, who spread their wings and flew away through the window.

The magical newspapers were stacked neatly and automatically, and Alan could see the headline on the front page of the New York Ghost at the top: "Smuggler Henry Jones Escapes from Jail."

Alan flipped through the newspapers below, almost all of them were reporting on the events that took place yesterday in the Magical Congress of the United States, and they were all on the front page: "The Magical Congress of America Increases Security", "Where is Henry Jones", "Magical Creatures Escape and Ravages the Muggle World", ......

Photographs from the event detail the destroyed buildings, screaming victims, and interviews with witnesses......

After a while, Professor Flitwick and Leonard sat down next to Allen after washing, flipping through the newspapers.

Leonard's brow furrowed, "The situation is more serious than I thought, Filius, I need your help. ”

"My pleasure, Leonard. "Whether it's for the purpose of keeping the wizarding world a secret, or for the sake of being a friend to Leonard, Professor Flitwick is duty-bound.
