Chapter 19: Aven's Concerns

The fire burned silently, and Evan wrote as fast as he could, and by the time the others returned, he had finished the article, leaving only a few details to revise.

"Aven!" Hermione and Colin were the first to enter the common room, and she ran over with a happy face, "Great, we took enough pictures and got the manuscript of his novel from Professor Lockhart, how are you doing here?"

"It's going well, it's done. Evan wrote the last letter.

"Let me take a look. Hermione picked up the parchment and noticed the contents, the expression on her face becoming more and more surprised, "Oh my God, this is"

Before she could say anything, Harry and Ron followed them into the common room, where they looked badly altered to Hermione and Colin.

"Guys, tonight is terrible!" Ron explained in a monotone voice, "After we left the Great Hall, we first encountered Peeves throwing big eggs in the innermost hallway on the third floor, and then we were caught by Filch who suddenly appeared, and he thought it was me and Harry who did it and had to take us to his office. ”

"Wait, what are you doing there, I remember that corridor should be empty. Aven's heart moved, and that corridor was the focus of his attention, because at the end of the corridor was the weeping myrtle's bathroom, where the entrance to the secret room was.

He once tried to find the crying myrtle there when no one was around, but was spotted by Filch's cat "Mrs. Loris" several times in a row, and then immediately caught by Filch, and Evan had to waste a lot of words explaining to the other party why he wanted to go to the girls' bathroom, which was not an easy task.

"I seem to see Ginny pass, but that's not the point. Ron waved his hand, "The point is that the two of us managed to escape from Filch and find Nick on the fifth floor, and he agreed to convince the other ghosts to help us gather news, but on the condition that "

"Go to his 500th birthday party, on Halloween. Harry's voice was equally weak, "We've agreed!"

"Think, on Halloween, go to the basement for Nick's death party. Ron took a breath of cold air, and then noticed that except for Colin, Evan and Hermione, who were sitting by the fire, seemed to be indifferent to the matter.

Evan was thinking about Ginny, and Hermione was so immersed in Evan that she didn't even hear what Ron was saying.

"I'm not surprised what the hell is going on between you two, it's a ghost party" Before Ron could finish his words, Harry on the side carefully pulled him, and he noticed that Hermione's expression was a little abnormal, his hands clenched the parchment in his hands, and his eyes were red.

He stopped suddenly, unsure if he had provoked Hermione.

"Hermione, are you alright?" asked Harry in a whisper.

"I'm fine, Harry!" Hermione looked up and wiped her eyes with her hand.

The next second, before everyone was reacting, she suddenly stood up and gave Harry a hug.

"Hermione, you" Harry was a little overwhelmed.

"Harry, this is an article written by Aven, you should take a look at it. Hermione shoved the parchment into Harry's hand.

Harry shifted his puzzled gaze to the parchment, and it was only three seconds before he realized what was written on it, and his face turned pale.

"Aven, these"

"It's all true, I learned the truth from Mrs. Bathilda Bassat. "She's always lived in Godric's Hollow, was your parents' neighbor, and witnessed everything happen that day. ”

The atmosphere gradually became dull, and no one spoke.

"Please, can anyone tell me what the hell is going on?" Ron muttered with some dissatisfaction, and Hermione hurriedly whispered to him.

After listening to Hermione's explanation, looking at Harry, whose face was getting paler and paler, Ron said with a worried face, "Harry, what Evan wrote, about your mother, didn't you know before?"

"I don't know, no one has ever told me this before. Harry replied in a trembling voice, trying to keep her tears from falling.

But that didn't seem to work, and the words on the parchment seemed to come to him as a real scene, and Harry saw that on that night, Voldemort had killed his parents, and the green light and the woman's cry that had recurred in his childhood dreams.

"I'm sorry, Harry!" Evan whispered for a long time before he noticed how much the things he had written had hurt Harry.

For more than a decade, Harry had been almost ignorant of his parents, and it must have been a cruel thing for him to suddenly reveal the details of their deaths.

"It's not your fault, Aven, it's just me before," Harry forcefully wiped tears from his cheeks.

The anomaly in the corner quickly caught the attention of the others, and Harry didn't want anyone to see him crying, so he jerked around and ran to the bedroom, clutching the parchment tightly in his hand.

"Don't worry, hand him over to me. Ron followed.

On the couch next to the fireplace, only a depressed Aven, a red-eyed Hermione, and Colin who didn't figure out what was going on.

"It's all my fault, I wrote about his mother without Harry's permission. ”

"Actually, I think you're writing very well. Hermione walked over and hugged Aven, "Harry just needs a moment to digest this. ”

Hearing Hermione's reassurance, Aven's mood improved somewhat, and he took Bathilda Basshat's reply to Hermione, and the two discussed some of the events of that day, and the conversation gradually turned to the content and layout of other articles in the newspaper.

As time passed, Colin sat for a while and left, working on the photographs, while Hermione stayed until midnight before going back to sleep with a thick layer of parchment.

By the time the fire was about to burn out, Evan was the only one left in the common room, and then he saw Ginny clumsily crawl in.

She looked very embarrassed, as if she had just fought the trolls, her robes were covered in dust, and her face was paler than Harry's, and she couldn't see any blood.

Aiwen's heart sank suddenly, could it be that the secret room had been opened!

"Ginny, you"

"Don't worry, Aven!"

Behind Ginny, Fred climbed in, "Ginny followed us to confirm a newly discovered secret passage, and we had a little trouble. ”

"It was a disaster for a box full of dung eggs to be found by Peeves, but luckily we ran fast. George climbed in as well.

"I hope Filch can handle it!" Ginny nodded approvingly.

Hearing their explanation, Evan breathed a sigh of relief, he thought that Ginny had been controlled by Tom Riddle and went to the secret room, but now it seems that this is not the case at all.

It was late, and after a few more chocolates, they went back to bed, standing outside their bedrooms, and Evan frowned as Ginny's figure faded around the corner of the stairs.

"Ginny, do you recognize Tom Riddle?" Evan muttered suddenly.

"What did you say?" said Ginny, who did not seem to hear clearly, before whispering in response.

"No, nothing, good night. Evan turned and entered the bedroom.

"Good night, Aven!" the girl's brown eyes were unusually bright in the candlelight.
