Bai Wuchang Xie Bi'an shook his head slightly and said: "But the most taboo thing for anyone who cultivates the Buddha's path is "nonsense"! I don't think the Jizo Bodhisattva will answer your question head-on.....

Now let's go back to the topic, this "Bo Xun" was originally the demon king in Buddhism, also known as "Mo Luo", and is often called "Mo Bo Xun" in the classics. This demon king often chases the Buddha and his disciples in an attempt to disrupt their cultivation.

As we all know, the Buddha Shakyamuni was the prince of the Shakyamuni people who defended the kingdom of Kapila before he became the Great Dao. The name "Siddhartha" means "Righteous Achiever", surname, Gautama!" "Shakyamuni" is not his real name, but the honorific title of his descendants, and the meaning is "Shakyamuni sage".

And "Shakya" is the name of the tribe to which he belongs, which means "ability and bravery"!" "Muni" was the title given to the attainment of ordination at that time, and it was translated as "text", "silence", etc., which was the virtue of the sage. The Chinese translation of Sakyamuni is also called "Nengren Silence". It is also commonly referred to as "Shakyamuni" or "Buddha".

And when Prince Siddhartha was practicing asceticism and penance, he was targeted by the demon king Bo Xun! This must first start with Siddhartha's life experience, according to legend, on April 8, Shakya was born from the right rib of Lady Maya, born under the Sanssouci tree in Lumbini Garden, and became Prince Siddhartha.

It is said that the prince can walk on the ground, walk seven steps around, give birth to lotus flowers step by step, and raise his eyes to look around, calling himself "heaven and earth, only I respect". At this time, two dragons, one spit warm water and the other cold water, bathed him. This day is the Buddha bathing day, or Buddha bathing day.

Lady Maya was about to be pregnant for ten months, and when she was about to give birth, she and the maids went to the Lampini Garden, and walked peacefully, and saw that there was a carefree tree in the garden, soft and low, that is, she raised her right hand to climb the branch, and at this time the prince was born from the right flank, and all the heavens and the world were magnified and bright.

When the prince was born, he went to the four directions, walked seven steps each, raised his feet to the big lotus, and sang to himself: Heaven and the world, only I am the only one! The three worlds are all suffering, and I should be at peace.

It was the time when the earth shook six kinds of vibrations, at that time of China, see the five-color light, through the Taiwei Palace, King Zhou Zhao asked the princes to return to the palace, named Siddhartha. The king of pure rice ordered the master of the prince to be an immortal, and the prince saw that the prince had thirty-two phases and eighty kinds of good.

Then he wept bitterly: If the prince is at home, he will be regarded as a holy king, the king will be the king of the four worlds, and the ten virtues will be transformed into the world! If he becomes a monk, he will become a natural Buddha and get rid of all surnames. I hurt my old age, and I didn't see the Buddha, so I was very sad and weeping.

Seven days after the birth of Prince Siddhartha, Lady Maya died and was raised by her aunt Mahapajapati to become a master of books and martial arts. The father hired Yasundhara as the concubine, and the prince was in the quiet night, but he practiced meditation and did not have a worldly meaning with the concubine.

The prince saw the impermanence of old age, sickness, and death in the world, and he had the idea of cultivating the Tao. On a moonlit night, the crown prince resolutely abandoned his throne, wealth, and wife, and quietly left the palace, determined to seek the truth of relief from the pain of life in the mountains and forests.

At dawn, the prince arrived in the village of Rama and shaved his hair, put on his robe, and sent his attendants back to the city to report to the king of pure rice that he had become a monk. When Prince Siddhartha traveled out of the city, he saw old age, sickness, and death, and realized the truth of the emptiness and impermanence of life.

Later, when he met the pure living celestial man and turned into a bhikshu and told him about the meaning of becoming a monk, the prince decided to abandon the palace life and become a monk. The father did not allow it, so he ordered people to guard it, and did not let him go out privately; So in the middle of the night, the prince ordered the chariot to hide the horses and dwell in the heavens, so that the guards slept, and the prince rode his horse and became a monk through the city.

At the beginning of the prince's monkhood, he learned all kinds of foreign ways and realized that they were not perfect. He entered the snow-capped mountains, and during the six years, he eclipsed one hemp and one wheat, and practiced diligent deeds, and his body became emaciated, like dead wood, but he still did not attain the Tao, so he knew that asceticism was not the end.

Therefore, on the side of the Nilian River, he was offered by the shepherd cow woman's chyle, and after eating, Seri recovered. After taking a bath, he put grass under the Bodhi tree as a seat, and vowed: "If you don't become enlightened, you won't be able to sit down."

It is said that Buddhism has the theory of eight-phase enlightenment. Refers to the eight stages of Shakyamuni Buddha's life. "Enlightenment" is the most important content of the "Eight Phases", and it is also the starting point of Shakyamuni's "Generational Teachings", also known as the "Eight Phases of Manifestation".

According to Buddhist scriptures, Shakyamuni had already attained enlightenment in his past life, and in order to transform sentient beings, he "manifested" the eight forms and was born in the world at the right time. Wait for details to introduce the content of the "Eight Phases".

Shakyamuni became a Buddha and the dust of the sea for several eons, for the sake of all beings, re-revealed the Tianzhu who was born on the earth thousands of years ago, and the Buddha showed his life to make up for the Bodhisattva before he was born, and said the Dharma in Tushi Heaven. After that, in the hope that luck is coming, he will be a Buddha at the moment.

After looking at the causes and conditions of the five events, he decided to be born in the kingdom of Kapila in Middle-earth, India, with King Johan and Queen Maya as his parents.

Shakyamuni multiplied a six-tusked white elephant, the elephant mouth contains a white lotus, descends to the Northern Tianzhu Kapila Guardian Kingdom, and enters the womb from the left rib of the wife of the King of Pure Rice, Mohe Maya. Shakya said the Dharma for the heavens in the womb, that is, the appearance of the "dwelling womb" opened. Mrs. Maya, when she was sleeping,

I saw the Bodhisattva coming from the air on a white elephant with six tusks, and entered from the right side. The lady suddenly felt that her body was happy and happy, and if she took nectar, she was pregnant. Since all sentient beings want to be born, they are born in the womb of their parents with upside down and impure minds, while bodhisattvas have righteous thoughts and correct wisdom to know their parents, hence the name of righteous wisdom into the mother's womb.

Then there was Siddhartha's asceticism and penance, and when Prince Siddhartha gave up asceticism, the demon king Bo Shun and his three daughters were still secretly happy, thinking that Siddhartha had given up his practice. And then there is the aforementioned story!

Unexpectedly, after receiving the offering from the shepherdess, Siddhartha came to the foot of the Bodhi tree and vowed, "If you do not attain the supreme Bodhi, you will not leave this seat"! Siddhartha saw the stars after seven days and seven nights.

At this time, the demon king Bo Shun couldn't hold his breath, he knew that after Siddhartha became a Buddha, he would teach many people to be good and liberate themselves from life and death. In this way, the demon people under the demon king Bo Shun will be reduced, which is something that the demon king Bo Shun can't see.

Therefore, Bo Shun sent his three daughters to seduce Siddhartha, who constantly showed her charming figure. And Siddhartha had already become a Buddha and was unmoved. He also cast a spell to make Bo Xun's three daughters see their stinky bodies, and the three daughters returned in failure.

Xie Bi'an Dao: This story is also recorded in the Buddhist scriptures, and Bo Xun often followed the Buddha and his disciples to engage in chaos and trouble. Everywhere he went, he was found in the city of Wangsha, the city of Vaishali, the kingdom of Parata, the settlement of Yutara, the settlement of the Brahmanas of Samu, the settlement of the Buddha of the Stone Lord, the forest of the Buddha, the forest of the Buddha of the Buddha and the forest of the Buddha Mountain.

It can be said that wherever the Buddha and his disciples are, there can be a wave of the Buddha. Bo Shun appeared not only at important moments such as after the Buddha's enlightenment and before his death, but also frequently appeared when the Buddha was walking alone, lying down, meditating, begging, and speaking for the monks or the four congregations, and often appeared alone in front of the Buddha's disciples.

When rebelling against the Buddha and rebelling against the monks, Bo Xun will borrow a variety of means of change. For example, incarnate a young man, a great dragon, a young brahmin, a big bull, a strong man's body, or cast a broken stone, blinding Ananda and other magic.

In the Demon Subjugation Sutra, Bo Shun turned into a thin form and infiltrated into the belly of the Great Eyed Gandharan Venerable! Sometimes Bo Shun would directly shake the mind of the Brahman with his magic power. In Book 39, the three daughters of Bo Xun, Ai, Ai, and Le also come to the Buddha to engage in rebellion.

Strategically speaking, Bo Xun can be described as both soft and hard against the Buddha and his disciples, and he is extremely capable of intimidating, enticing, and misleading. For example, in the thirty-ninth wave of the volume, "holding a large group of stones, playing with both hands, to the Buddha, shattered into fine dust",

and "turning into a big dragon, circling the Buddha's body seven times, raising his head to the top of the Buddha, his body like a big boat, his eyes like a copper furnace, his tongue like trolling lightning, and his breath and breath like thunder and hail", etc., this is a strategy to use intimidation.

Another example is when Bo Xun said to the Buddha, "If you cultivate a great place of asceticism, you can make it pure, but now you give it up, so what can you ask for here? If you want to be pure here, you can't get it." This is an extreme asceticism to mislead the correct practice. And sometimes Bo Xun seems to come to praise the Buddha, but in fact, he can't coerce it, but instead flattery!

If so, World-Honored One, if so, die a good death! Now you can be a king, you will not kill, you will not teach people to kill, you will always practice the law, and you will not practice illegality. World-honored, you can be a king now, and you will get your wishes. The reason why Bo Shun is like this is because the Dharma eradicates the desire for love, and thus leaves the realm of demonic desire, which makes Bo Shun sad and troubled.

Xie Bi'an sighed and said: Before the Buddha became a Buddha, the cultivation he went through was very arduous! The subjective inability to realize made the Buddha anxious, because he had promised the King of Pure Rice that if he could not attain enlightenment, he would return to the Kapila Kingdom to inherit the throne.

Objectively, many temptations are also hindering the Buddha, and the Demon King Bo Xun's disturbing actions are one of them.

Strictly speaking, the Demon King Bo Xun is the "God of the Six Desires", the supreme ruler of the Desire Realm in the Three Realms, and is much higher than the Emperor Shakti!

Legend has it that the demon king Bo Xun once offered a Buddha in his past life, so that he could give birth to the six desires of God. However, such a God who has good fortune and a realm of heaven does not protect the Dharma like other gods, but tries all kinds of ways to destroy the Buddha's bad path.

You know, even Brahma, the main god of Brahmanism, would ask the Buddha to live in the world and say the Dharma! So why did the demon king Bo Shun do this? Is it because the Buddha's enlightenment did not benefit him at all?

Naturally, there are benefits, but for Bo Xun, the Buddha's enlightenment does more harm than good.....

As the boss of the Desire Realm, the desire of the Demon King Bo Xun is the same as his realm, and it is also located at the top of the Six Desires Heaven. Bo Xun's control over his dependents is through desire, and it can be said that as long as all beings within the realm of desire are his dependents.

But once someone realizes and breaks off his desires and troubles, he will be out of his control. That's the last thing Bo Xun wants to see.....!

And Bo Xun also knew that once the Buddha attained enlightenment, the wheel of mana would turn, and countless practitioners would turn away from their desires according to the Buddha's teachings, and the dependents he could control would be greatly reduced, so he had to sabotage Prince Siddhartha's practice so that he could not realize the Tao.

Before the Buddha was reborn in the world of sampa, he lived in the back courtyard of Tushi Heaven as a bodhisattva of life. Naturally, the Demon King Bo Shun knew all this, so he constantly sabotaged the Buddha's practice when he was ordained as a monk. But neither the temptation of the witch nor the intimidation of the demon army affected the Buddha's enlightenment in practice.

This made Bo Xun very scared, and it also strengthened his determination to continue the bad law. When the Buddha's body was about to collapse after several years of austerity, he realized that only the middle way could lead to enlightenment, so he gave up his asceticism.
