Episode 289 Lectures by eminent monks

No matter what the reason is that the ancient country of Loulan has become a ruin in the desert, the splendid culture of Loulan will always exist in our memories......

He Gang believes that one day, someone will uncover the mystery of the ancient kingdom of Loulan.

He was now more anxious to obtain the dzi than Jiulong, so in front of the pagoda house, he looked very carefully, squatting down from time to time, and pulling into the desert with his hands, and he was very excited when he found hard objects.

However, apart from sand and stones, where can there be dzi?

Kowloon's attempts to search under the walls were in vain.

He asked He Gang if there was a better place to find the dzi in his mind, and He Gang sighed: "Dzi is everywhere, especially in Tibet, but it is almost impossible to find the real heavenly stone." ”

It turns out that this is the case, no wonder He Gang wants to try his luck in Lop Nur.

"Maybe the Tibetan monks will have it in their hands, I heard that this dzi is inherited. ”

Kowloon reminded.

A word woke up the person in the dream, He Gang immediately reacted, indeed, in such a harsh desert place, it is too difficult to find, let's go to Tibet to have a look.

……

They tossed and turned on the road for nearly two days before arriving in Lhasa.

Lhasa, abbreviated as "Lhasa", is the capital of China's Tibet Autonomous Region, an international tourist city with plateau and ethnic characteristics, the political, economic, cultural and scientific and educational center of Tibet, and a holy place of Tibetan Buddhism.

Located in the middle of the Tibetan Plateau, on the north side of the Himalayas, at an altitude of 3,650 meters above sea level (to prevent endogenous oxygen deficiency), it is located in the valley plain of the middle reaches of the Lhasa River, a tributary of the Yarlung Zangbo River.

Lhasa has many sunny weather throughout the year, rainfall is scarce, there is no severe cold in winter, there is no scorching heat in summer, the climate is pleasant, and the sunshine time is more than 3,000 hours a year, known as the "Sunshine City".

Lhasa is rich in various resources, and has obvious resource advantages compared with other cities in the country and the autonomous region.

As one of the first batch of national historical and cultural cities, Lhasa is famous for its beautiful scenery, long history, unique customs and folk customs, and strong religious color, and has successively won the title of China's Excellent Tourist City, the Favorite Tourist City of European Tourists, the National Civilized City, the Most Secure City in China, the Top 200 Charming Cities with Chinese Characteristics, and the Top 200 Charming Cities with World Characteristics.

They were not in a hurry to visit the Potala Palace, but chose to try their luck at the Jokhang Temple.

Jiulong always felt that he had to say something in such a solemn place as the temple, so he took out the Yunguang Master Jiulongbi hand toy from the backpack he carried, and kept playing with it, and he also wanted to touch the Buddha's spirit.

They worshipped at the golden statue of Shakyamuni Buddha at the Jokhang Temple in Tibet and inspected the Dzi of the Buddha.

This dzi has a history, it is the earliest Tibetan religion Bon handed down the dzi.

Of course, this is only a legend, the specific origin of the dzi is no longer known, it is said that the early tantric disciples who went to Nepal to seek the Dharma, the beads obtained from the hands of the master as amulets, and thus passed down.

It is basically impossible for this kind of talisman to be transmitted to the people, and Kowloon can only envy it. At this time, a monk came over, saw the Nine Dragons in his hands to play with the Nine Dragons hand toys stunned for a moment, cast a curious look, this monk is a lot older, wearing a Tibetan Buddhist robe, he asked the Nine Dragons can show him the hand play, of course the Nine Dragons willing, and then handed over with both hands.

The monk stroked the hand, slowly closed his eyes, and after a long time, he spoke: "Young man, your stone should be related to the Buddha, it seems that you also have a cause with the Buddha, you can tell me, what do you want to get here, maybe I can help you." ”

Kowloon was overjoyed, he pointed at the dzi and asked if there was anything special about the dzi.

Of course, he didn't ask the monk directly for the dzi, which was unrealistic, and he felt that as long as he got some useful information about the dzi from the monk, it would be enough.

The monk looked at Jiulong with his eyes and nodded with satisfaction, he didn't expect Jiulong to just ask a question, not to ask him for something, there are very few people who can be so ungreedy, so he feels that he is not mistaken, Jiulong is really related to the Buddha, he is very willing to answer Jiulong's question.

He patiently introduced to Jiulong that this special bead is regarded as a sacred object in the sky, and when it falls from the sky to the earth, it can protect the victims, attract wealth, and receive blessings, etc., and the tantric disciples call it the dzi in order to show respect and preciousness.

The origin of the dzi can be traced back to between 3000 and 1500 B.C., the ancient kingdom of the Aryan people.

At that time, people prayed for the blessing of the gods and Buddhas, so the dzi was created.

At that time, people used the ancient text "Vedas" recorded in the Vedas, such as mantras, totems and other symbolic patterns (that is, the various patterns on the dzi beads today), painted on stone, and then achieved the effect of improving spiritual (soul) consciousness.

At present, the Tibetan dzi seen is not processed by meteorites (heavenly stones), for example, Li spent 20 million yuan to obtain a dzi from Dabaofa Temple, which is a nine-eyed stone shale produced in Tibet, containing jade and agate, and it is not a meteorite (heavenly stone).

Since the dzi is the manifestation of the merit of all sentient beings and the compassion of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, there will be different types of dzi according to different needs, in short, different types of dzi have different merits and energies, which can help you achieve different wishes.

In the teachings of Venerable Guru Omniscient Dreadnought, he once personally taught that the merits of the dzi can enable the wearer to obtain the protection of the vajra armor, and any curse calamities, human and non-human injuries and the invasion of unfavorable magnetic fields will not have any effect on the wearer, and at the same time have the effect of preventing liver disease, heart disease, high blood pressure and other diseases, and can allow the wearer to obtain the blessings of the deity, power, wealth, longevity, virtue and fame and other worldly blessings will increase day by day, and can avoid the ferocity of the year, month, day, and hour. The damage of evil stars such as Tai Sui will obtain the merit of liberation from auspiciousness and freedom.

The circle of heaven is also the same as the symbol of the heavenly part (vajra realm).

The earth is also the foundation of all living beings, and is like the symbol of the mother of the earth (the Tibetan realm).

"Fangyuan" is the universe (up and down the four directions - the beginning of the cycle), that is, the mandala of our Buddhist Tantra.

That is to say, to build a square and round altar and to express the landscape of the universe and the realm of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the form of totemic ideas!

At the same time, with the prayers of the recipients, it is called "granting"! that is, "taking refuge". The pattern of the dzi is based on the ancient Indian and Brahmanical Dharma, and is attached to the symbolic meaning of the Tantric "Five Wheels Dharma Boundary Tower".
