Ying Long is a happy real man, after teaching Tai Chi, he turned around and was about to run, but An Yang stopped him. An Yang understands very well what it means to have the right not to expire and be invalid, so Ying Long, the top grandmaster who stepped into the land immortal in half a step, wants to teach others, it is really rare, An Yang must come up with more good things.

After thinking about it, Ying Long simply taught An Yang some tips about Baguazhang. In the martial arts of the empire, Baguazhang is really famous, but it is worse than Taijiquan and Xingyi Boxing.

What Ying Long said directly was the breathing method of Baguazhang, which is really useful for An Yang, not those guys who look tall and tall, but in fact, they can really only look at it.

Breathing problems play an important role in both martial arts techniques and training, especially in internal boxing. This is because 1. Internal force is used to exert force, and the cultivation of internal force is related to breathing. The internal strength practice should be to adjust the body, adjust the mind, and regulate the breath, and the body is the pile frame when standing on the pile or the boxing frame when practicing the routine.

Adjusting the mind is the guiding ideology when practicing boxing and the application of ideas under the control of this guiding ideology; Pranayama is the regulation of breathing. 2. Inhale when accumulating force, exhale or hold breath when exerting force, open and close, inhale and exhale. In order to achieve the effect of "cold, elastic, brittle, fast and hard", some people need to make a sound to urge the force, and they need to go through special breathing training.

In fact, when you exert force, you can know the depth of the opponent's skill as soon as you listen to the sound. 3. Inner boxing pays attention to relaxation, even the relatively rigid Xingyi boxing also pays attention to one relaxation, and whether it can be relaxed, breathing is also an important factor. 4. Sometimes the victory or defeat in the technique has a lot to do with the body, and the body is not only related to the endurance training in peacetime, but also related to breathing training.

Only the correct use of breathing methods can ensure that the breath does not float and breathes smoothly during strenuous exercise.

Since breathing is so important, there are the following reasons why there is not much talk about breathing in many martial arts: 1. Breathing training is the core secret of the inheritance of various sects, and it is not a disciple who is deeply trusted by the master.

2. Breathing exercises are more complicated, and if you don't practice well, you will deviate, so without the guidance of the Master, most people have concerns and dare not set foot lightly. 3. There is a problem with the guiding ideology, and some boxers emphasize not to breathe, but to listen to their nature and comfort. I think this understanding is biased, people have to breathe, and if you don't emphasize breathing, you choose to breathe naturally.

If you don't understand the characteristics of this kind of breathing, you won't be able to understand boxing, and it's easy to deviate, which will be discussed later.

The basic method of thought in Western philosophy is deductive reasoning, so after having a certain cultural foundation, we can successfully learn a lot of knowledge by reading books. Chinese philosophy is different, emphasizing the need to "understand", and the study of martial arts has more of its characteristics, one is that it is a practical knowledge, any martial arts you have to practice to understand and master, only through guò to read.

It's not okay to look at CDs. In particular, the inner fist is to lead the qi with intention, and the qi to the strength. You can't understand the above knowledge if you know the guò form, so Chinese martial arts emphasize the oral transmission of the master's heart. It is not enough to have practice, but also to "understand" and understand boxing theory. It is necessary to experience the essentials of the master and the boxing book from the practice of boxing, and summarize and improve your unique experience.

Everyone will have their own unique experience of practicing boxing, because everyone's physique is different, and the understanding of the essentials is different.

An Yang listened carefully to Ying Long's explanation, and had his own martial arts confirmation in his heart.

Taoist theory divides human breathing into two categories according to the characteristics of the fetus's breathing before and after childbirth, namely innate breathing and acquired breathing. Before birth, the fetus does not breathe in the mother's lungs, but is connected to the mother through the umbilical cord to obtain nutrients and oxygen. From a biological point of view, the fetus at this time is equivalent to an organ in the mother's body, just like any other organ.

The fetus uses cellular respiration to obtain oxygen and nutrients from the mother's blood and bodily fluids, and exhales carbon dioxide and waste materials. Taoists call this kind of breathing, which does not allow the lungs to obtain oxygen, innate breathing. According to the idea of the unity of heaven and man, the ancients summed up the use of some special acupuncture points such as Baihui, Shenque navel, and life.

The perineum and other acupuncture points are all inhaled into the dantian or the human body through different channels on the perineum and Ren pulse, and the sick qi is discharged, thus deriving the advanced exercises of various families, such as the Tantric "clumsy fire" cultivation method of Buddhism, the "Bodhidharma Eighteen Hands" practice method of Zen Buddhism, the "fetal breath method" and the "body breathing method" of Taoism.

After the fetus is born from the mother's womb, as the midwife slaps the fetus on the buttocks and cries, the person begins to breathe with the lungs, which Taoists call this breathing the acquired breath. They have the natural breathing method used by everyone, the chest breathing method, the reverse abdominal breathing and the abdominal breathing, and the chest and abdomen breathing, such as the "toad qi" used in the cultivation of Wudang swordsmanship.

Different breathing methods have different relaxation methods and the use of the mind in standing piles, walking exercises and changing exercises, and it is easy to deviate if you do not understand their characteristics. It was out of the study of the problem of deviation in the station pile, and the study of breathing problems. Through long-term experience, summarize and analyze the methods and characteristics of various acquired breathing and partial innate breathing.

1. The practice of internal strength in martial arts is closely related to the cultivation of Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism, but it is different because the purpose pursued is different. As a martial art, the purpose is to increase the ability to fight and the health of the body. Therefore, we cannot completely copy the cultivation methods of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism, but must fall on "martial arts".

Without a martial artist with understanding, it will never be possible to hold Dan Yipin, this is the real meaning.

Second, most people now practice martial arts in the hope of a win-win situation in martial arts and physical fitness, and take the idea of sustainable development. Therefore, no matter what kind of practice method is practiced, it should be in line with the basic theories of Chinese medicine. The basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine believes that in order for the human body to be in a healthy state, it must be real and empty, hot and cold, and to paraphrase a current fashionable saying, that is, more than half of the "positive energy" of people should be below the diaphragm.

Therefore, no matter what kind of practice method is in line with the above mechanism, it must conform to the above mechanism in terms of boxing theory. Traditional Chinese medicine also believes that for the human body to be healthy, yin and yang must be balanced. Standing piles and practicing routines are the result of the imbalance of yin and yang, so it is necessary to understand how to balance yin and yang when standing piles and practicing routines.

3. "The heart and the mind are in harmony; Intention and Qi are combined; Qi and strength are combined, hands and feet are combined; shoulders and hips; "Elbow and knee together" is the most basic cultivation principle of the well-known inner boxing, also known as the inner and outer triad. "Hands and feet, shoulders and hips, elbows and knees" are the outer triad, which is the essence of the cultivation of the shape of the muscles and bones.

In short, the outer triad is the upper and lower together, "motionless and motionless", and the pursuit of force and wholeness. And the inner boxing pays attention to the intention to lead the spirit, and the intention is to the force. Therefore, in order to pursue force rectification, we must first "qi rectification", that is, qi permeates the whole body, and no matter what kind of breathing method, this goal should be achieved in the end.

"The heart and the mind are in harmony, the mind is in harmony with the qi, and the qi is in harmony with the mind" is the inner triad, which is the essence of the cultivation method of the introverted will of the gods. "Heart" here I understand that it refers to the theory and theory of martial arts, "Yi" is the mind, which is the use of the mind under the guidance of the "Heart" method, and "Qi" is the flow of biological energy, which is the "true Qi". We practice Baguazhang, whether it's standing on a pile, walking or practicing changing poses.

They should all meet the requirements of the inner and outer triad, not the general talk, but the use of boxing, the use of ideas, and the use of breathing should be linked to the internal and external triad.

Fourth, no matter what kind of breathing method, we must breathe out the old and absorb the new, that is, absorb oxygen, in a broad sense, and the energy in the universe and nature, and exhale carbon dioxide and sickness. This will be covered later in the discussion of the advanced exercises of innate breathing.

Fifth, the practice of breathing is not only the physiological need of human beings, but also the need to practice internal strength. But it is only a means and not an end in the process of training martial arts.

Everyone knows the natural breathing method chest breathing method in the practice of Bagua palm internal strength, standing piles, walking exercises, and turning palms in those places that are easy to deviate and avoid. Natural breathing is a breathing method that everyone uses every day, how can it be deviated This is the idea that most people have, and because of this.

Many people ignore some special problems in the state of practicing internal strength, and the actual natural breathing method is the one that deviates the most.

There is a boxer who is not the same door, because of his love for martial arts began to practice standing piles, the first time he learned to stand on the piles felt sore shoulders and arms, he stood on the piles in order to overcome this soreness when the shoulders were wrapped to both sides, so that the shoulders were not so sore, and after standing like this for a few months, the boxer's heart showed symptoms such as heart tremor and increased heart rate, and he had a heart attack.

As long as you stand on the pile, your heart will be uncomfortable, and taking medicine for this disease will not solve the problem. The fighter had to say goodbye to martial arts.

Why did this boxer have heart problems, everyone can see that the shoulder is not loosened, causing the heart to be involved and the problem occurs. So why does the shoulder not relax can cause heart problems? To illustrate this problem, I will first introduce some knowledge. One is that if a person wants to be healthy, he must maintain a balance of yin and yang, but if a person practices boxing in an improper way.

will upset that balance. According to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, the human body is yang upwards and yin downwards, with yin in front of the body and yang in the back. When we move upwards, when we use upward thoughts, or when we exert force or strain on a certain part of our upper body, the yang energy will rise, and conversely, if our fists are lowered, our movements are downward, and our thoughts are in the lower part, the yang energy will also go down.

The second is that the distribution of yang energy in our internal organs is not uniform. If we use a yang qi index to measure the distribution of yang qi in each organ of a person in a healthy state, we will find that the index of each organ is basically stable, but it is not evenly distributed. Among them, the "kidney" index of the lower diaphragm is the highest, followed by the spleen, stomach and liver of the middle diaphragm, and the heart and lungs of the upper diaphragm are the lowest.

If the yang energy of our organs is lower than this index, the working power of the organs will be insufficient, and the external appearance will be characterized by insufficient yang energy, such as drowsiness, fat tongue, pale moss, loose stools, etc. But it is not that the more yang energy the better, if it exceeds its normal index, it will not work normally, for example, the heart will have palpitations and heart rate will increase.

The liver will have external appearances such as hyperactivity, irritability, and aggressiveness. The flow of human qi and blood is affected by the following factors: 1. Where people's minds are directed and concentrated, qi and blood are concentrated there. 2. If the part is moderately tense and exerted, the qi and blood will also flow to the area, but if the tension is excessive, the area will instead block the qi and blood, and the turbidity will be collected.

We use the breath, whether you realize it or not, because of the ups and downs, the mind will be potentially focused towards the shoulders. Therefore, when we stand or walk, the feeling of soreness in the shoulders or upper limbs will be stronger, and the feeling of soreness will further stimulate your concentration. This way the yang energy will rise, at this time if you can't relax the shoulders in time and.

After practicing, you will feel hot and dry in your body, and you have to exert force to dissipate this hot and dry heat. For some people, the consequences of this long-term erosion are only felt decades later, when you are in your fifties or sixties, when you develop cardiovascular diseases such as high blood pressure, heart disease, etc. We also often overlook one thing that makes Baguazhang different from other martial arts.

That is, other martial arts are mainly based on routine practice, and one move and one style will not concentrate on making one place tense, even if it is a very strong fist. And Baguazhang, whether it is standing on the pile or walking on the line, is to practice for a long time in a fixed pose.

"Leaving the hexagram" Bagua palm, changing the style from top to bottom, so the main water, called "leaving the hexagram" about this content I will introduce in another article. Due to the "Kan Hexagram" Baguazhang palm style is upward, and the practice of Baguazhang requires the extended tendons to be slightly tightened, which is called "reverse strength", and at this time, if you can "seek shun in the adversity", the body is in a relaxed state, which is a good form of practicing internal strength.

But if you can't relax, it will make the shoulders, upper limbs, and limbs around the heart in a state of tension for a long time, and the turbidity will rise, and the internal exercise should be to raise and clear and reduce turbidity. Therefore, the Baguazhang exercise has high requirements for the relaxation of the shoulders, upper limbs, and then the relaxation of the whole body.

How can I relax?I have experienced that using natural breathing can be a relaxation exercise in three ways.

Force exchange method: First of all, it is best to stand from the sinking pile and the poleless pile, rather than the pile method such as the horse pile, so that the shoulder, upper limbs, and easy to relax. Walking around to put more effort on the practice of walking, do not practice changing styles too early, do not put your mind on the front hand when practicing a single palm change, Cheng Pai Baguazhang requires the front hand to be empty, the back hand is solid.

That is, push and walk with the back hand, and in addition, it should be slow when walking, which is conducive to relaxation. In short, start to relax from the shoulders, gradually relax the upper limbs downward, and if you stand with the Tai Chi pile round pile, do not emphasize the strength of the upper limbs, and try to relax. Pulling the chest and back is also for relaxation. Gradually loosen it up to the waist, and at the beginning it will collapse kyphosis.

When Ying Long said this, he suddenly stopped, looked at An Yang, smiled slightly, stretched out his hand, and took a sip of tea. To be continued
