Chapter 7: Naked Dreams

He dreamed that he was naked, anxiously searching around in full view. Pen & Fun & Pavilion www.biquge.info

He wanted to find a safe place to hide, but there was nothing but those who laughed at him......

At this moment, he felt that his clothes were where his safety and strength resided, and the loss of his clothes seemed to reveal the secrets of his body that he had been guarding for many years; powerlessness and helplessness; Anxiety and desperation.

After waking up from the dream, this anxiety is still so real.

It was as if he was naked at the moment, under the gaze of everyone.

It's a naked dream.

I believe it is also a dream that most people have had.

If you are an attentive person, you may be able to discover:

This dream is similar to the previous "exam dream".

But there are subtle differences.

The dream of the exam is the fear that the good side is not being presented, so anxious; And the naked dream is the ugly side being presented and anxious.

Perhaps this understanding is not accurate enough.

These two dreams should be seen as one dynamic and coherent dream.

First of all, in the exam dream, because the test paper that he had done with great effort was not taken away by the teacher, his good side was not presented; Then, in a naked dream, his ugly side is revealed.

This is the dynamic nature of dreams.

In other words, the dynamism of memory.

This is what we called "natural growth" in the previous volume.

Dreams are almost uncontrollable, so this is the most natural continuity and dynamic, not artificially taught.

It can also be seen that the so-called "going with the flow" does not come from those seemingly philosophical words, but from the mechanism of human instinct.

It is a reasonable way to compare the laws of human psychology to the laws of nature.

But if we only stop at this kind of comparison, we will not be able to solve the psychological disorder.

It is true that those things such as the origin of the universe and the evolution of human beings, the two rituals and the four images, vipassana, existence and non-existence, non-existence, self-grasping, self-delusion, abstaining from greed, anger and anger......

It's all about philosophies that conform to the laws of nature.

However, for example, there is an idiom "scratching the boot".

It's just that it maintains a very close parallel line with the human psyche and can't be integrated.

For ordinary people, belief in these cosmic philosophies of life can sometimes bring them peace of mind.

But I can almost say with certainty: these philosophies never really entered their hearts.

To a certain extent, it is just to treat these philosophies as an "idol" to gain a sense of security.

Or maybe it's a superficial outpouring or an unintentional outpouring.

As Sigmund Freud said, "What is repressed is often satisfied." (The repression here is terministic, not common sense; It is equivalent to true forgetting. )

That is to say, those who are truly unconditionally happy will be truly forgotten because of complete inner satisfaction; And continue to pursue something unknown.

Therefore, if a person were to recall the days of his childhood without any worries, he would certainly not be able to recall them.

And certain pleasures, such as his happiness because he was rewarded by his parents.

This kind of conditional happiness is still fresh in the memory.

Why are there conditions?

Because if his parents don't reward him, he may be very disappointed.

And true unconditional happiness is not dependent on these conditions.

Therefore, people believe in some abstract philosophies of life in the universe, not that they have really absorbed these philosophies and become part of the mind.

The true joy of their hearts is that which is innate; cannibalism of the world; Enjoy the realistic joy of family with your parents.

It's just that it's completely satisfying and it's suppressed by success, and it can't be presented to others.

In other words: it is self-evident and does not need to be deliberately explained.

Therefore, they are full of cosmic Buddhist teachings, but they are just an unintentional expression.

But for people with mental illness and even some psychiatrists, these abstract philosophies are regarded as a way to heal the soul.

It seems to be harmonious and wonderful, and the ideal is grand.

However, they seem to have forgotten that the greatest happiness of man is the hazy and innocent happiness of childhood, not the great wisdom that transcends the heart.

If one departs from the most genuine happiness and pursues these abstract pleasures.

He can't get intimacy.

Because it is impossible for parents to teach him happiness like a Buddha did.

Rather, it is to make him happy with the most primitive and pure kind of maternal and paternal love.

Primitive to almost birthborn love, without relying on too many emotional factors.

Having said so much, perhaps it has been too far from the topic.

But it's not out of bounds.

The purpose is simply to make everyone understand that the "dynamism of dreams" is a natural and instinctive psychological mechanism.

Let everyone discover this naturalness in themselves, without relying on the abstract philosophies of the outside world.

Maybe that's a bit far-fetched.

It's just that I'm a casual expression.

Because the interpretation of this dream is so easy that it is only a matter of conclusion.

However, it is necessary to understand what has been described in the previous chapters.

Specifically: the naked dream is to recreate the fearless psychology of childhood.

It's just that the reality of education is mixed in, and I feel anxious in my dreams.

But subconsciously courage is unstoppable, no matter how powerful this education is.

We know that at an early age, every child is half-naked, sometimes completely naked.

They are not ashamed of it.

But don't take this simply as "ignorant" or "fearless to the ignorant."

Those brave adults have inherited this fearlessness, so they will be brave.

It's just that this fearlessness has become their subconscious, and they can't perceive it.

So, they're speaking, they're talking to important people, they're performing...... is very brave and does not worry too much about making a fool of himself.

It's like a child being naked in front of those serious adults, fearless.

Therefore, when a person is nervous on an important occasion, it is good to recall the naked courage of childhood.

However, the understanding of a dream is not only about the superficial and formal meaning, but also about the deeper traumatic memory.

If a person dreams nakedly, there is only mild anxiety and shame; Then, it is enough for the understanding of dreams to stay in the above explanations.

But if this anxiety feels a little stronger, not just shame, but a great sense of loss and emptiness.

For example, a mentally ill patient who had a dream of nudity recalled that when he had a physical examination at school, the doctor asked him and his classmates to strip naked for examination.

But at that time, he was extremely resistant, and his classmates all stripped naked, but he refused to take it off; It's like guarding the most important thing in life.

The teacher sternly said that if he didn't take it off, he would not be eligible to take the entrance examination.

He took it off with great reluctance.

But there was still childlike seriousness and anger in his expression, which contrasted sharply with the snickering laughter of his classmates.

It is also a "virginity", a love and responsibility for life and body.

After this incident, he felt that he had lost something that was most important.

Sad and lost.

also caused him to become "self-defeating" and "profligate" in the future; has no value for the body, and even desires to give to any woman.

This "indifferent" mentality led him to give up his serious pursuit of life, and lost a lot of real happiness, becoming drunk and dreaming of death.

This is also in the same vein as my explanation of the "flowery" nature of men in the previous volume, "The Fidelity of Men and Women":

In extreme secrecy, he compromised with his classmates who were snickering; It's as if you have to become like them, don't care about your body, in order to match them.

What kind of trauma is it? And made him forget the naked innocence and courage of his childhood, and was so sad and lost about nudity?

I don't think that's the most important thing anymore.

It might be better to leave it up to him to trace it himself.

The most important thing is: his serious attitude of protecting the body, or a "virginity".

Let himself alone regain the innocence and courage of his childhood "naked"; Instead of the attitude towards "nakedness" like those classmates, not the kind of serious courage; It's a kind of snickering and indifference with an evil smell.

Therefore, many people often have a critical attitude towards "naivety", just because their hearts have completely accepted "naivety" and reached saturation; That's why the opposite attitude is unintentionally revealed.

So, don't pay too much attention to this kind of language. (To be continued.) )
