Shang Tong Shang Xian

Shang Tong requires the people and the Son of Heaven to be the same as the will of heaven, and to work together to implement righteous government. Shang Xian includes the election of the sage as an official, and the election of the sage as the monarch of the Son of Heaven. Mozi believed that the king must elect the sages of the country, and that the people should obey the king in public administration. Mozi demanded that the monarch be able to be virtuous and able, and put forward the proposition that "officials are impermanent, and the people are not endurally cheap". Frugal burials

Political ideology
