Chapter 804: Fifteen Grades (II)

"Being able to distinguish between the roots and the bluntness", the person who has the root organ is the one who has accumulated the merits of practice in many lifetimes, and this kind of person reacts quickly, and knows that there is fire when he sees the smoke, which is what the Zen patriarch said: "A good horse gallops when he sees the shadow of the whip."

The difference between the sharpness and bluntness of the root organs of sentient beings is the same as the psychological interest, and the psychological interest of the root person is very resolute and responsive.

Confucius repeatedly praised his student Yan Hui, and the Analects recorded that once Confucius asked another high-footed Zigong to compare himself with Yan Hui, Zigong replied that he could not compare, Yan Hui heard one and knew ten, and he heard one and knew two, and Confucius listened and said, not only are you inferior to him, but even I am inferior to him!

From here, it can be seen that the sharpness and bluntness of the root organs of sentient beings can be very different. Zhang Liang in history, so he assisted Liu Bang instead of helping Xiang Yu, because he saw that Liu Bang was Ligen, and when his foot touched him under the table, Liu Bang would immediately understand.

When it comes to education today, a true educator must see the extent to which the student can receive it, and even what his sexual interests are.

"For a long time in the Buddha's way, the heart has been pure", here it is said that Vimal monks have actually already realized the path to Buddhahood, and for a long time the Buddha's Bodhi path has already been proficient, therefore

"Decide on Mahayana", decide to take the Mahayana path. I often joke with monks of my generation, don't fight with lay people, they all laugh when they hear it, and they understand in their hearts, you see, all the bodhisattvas who worship every day are lay people, Guanyin, Manjushri, Puxian, Maitreya are all people.

The original image of Maitreya is not a pot-bellied one, it is a Chinese plastic cloth bag monk statue, which is the incarnation of Maitreya.

Only one of the Jizo King Bodhisattvas is a monastic Bodhisattva. The Mahayana path is not limited to being a monk at home. The Mahayana Bodhisattva Tao simply says that there are eight words, which can never be done: "The unbearable can be endured, the difficult can be done", endure what people can't endure, and pedestrians can't do.

If you can do it, you will decide on the Mahayana and never retreat. Now deduce the basic truth of what is the Mahayana path, that is

"Everything you do, you can think well, you live in the majesty of the Buddha, your heart is as big as the sea, the Buddhas are consulted, and your disciples, Buddhas, Brahmans, and the lords of the world are respected. If you want to save people's lives, you should live in Biya with kindness. "The Mahayana way to do everything to think twice, this is the difference between Mahayana and Hinayana people, Hinayana people often think without thoughts, seek emptiness, do not seek to think, everything is afraid of verbose, the best meditation in the mountains, do not dare to use thoughts; The attainment of great wisdom is the ability to distinguish all dharmas well, to be immovable in the first righteousness, and to be able to do all with one mind and without delusional thoughts on the bodhi path, which is the realm of wisdom attainment.

Therefore, it is the people of the Mahayana path who can think well, not emotional impulses, and joys, angers, sorrows, and joys come from wisdom.

But his heart is

"Living in the Buddha's majesty, the heart is as big as the sea", that is, the Buddha realm, that is, the living Buddha, his heart is large, and it is inclusive of all things.

Moreover, all the Buddhas of the Ten Directions sought advice from him, and his students, the Heavenly Lord Shakti, the emperors and leaders of the human world, and the Heavenly Beings of the Three Realms all respected him.

Because it is necessary to save people, with the convenience of changing supernatural powers, the figure of an ordinary person is not born from a stone or a lotus, in order to be close to sentient beings, otherwise sentient beings will not be able to cultivate, thinking that people who become Buddhas must be born.

Therefore, the Vimal monks lived in Biyali with goodness and convenience.
