Chapter 1011: The Uneaten Meal (Part II)

What did Patriarch Bodhidharma want him to do with that arm? But it was only at this time that he began to be introduced.

The Diamond Sutra says, "When you know that you are a human being, you should not plant good roots in one Buddha, two Buddhas, three, four, or five Buddhas, but have planted all good roots in countless thousands of Buddhas." ”

Such a person can hear the truth of emptiness, so it is so difficult! Ordinary people often think that Buddhist scriptures are Buddhist scriptures, and when we practice, we know that every sentence of the Buddhist scriptures is very true.

Therefore, the incarnate bodhisattva scolded the people who heard different sounds, and wanted to use the small virtues and small wisdom of the shravaka to weigh the supreme Buddha's path.

He said, "There is no end to the four seas, and there is no end to this meal." so that all people can eat, if Sumeru, even a catastrophe, it will not be exhausted. ”

Don't underestimate this bowl of rice, when the four seas are dry, this bowl of rice will never be finished!

Even if everyone comes to eat and rubs the rice as tall as Mount Meru, it will take a catastrophe of time, and this bowl of rice will not be bottomed.

As mentioned earlier, there are four kinds of rice to eat, what kind of rice is the meal of the Buddha realm?

This bowl of rice is the most important food, and our life does not depend only on eating rice and vegetables.

However, the better the nutrition, the more you will eat problems.

Therefore, if you keep the precept of not eating at noon, you can live a long life.

And "Baizhang Zen Master Jungle Rules" also uses food reduction as a decoction when he is sick.

Confucius also said, "Those who eat qi live a long life." Those who cultivate the Tao can live a long life by eating qi, but I have repeatedly warned those who cultivate the Tao not to practice by themselves, if you really know how to eat qi (this is of course not the qi of the air), you can eat fragrant Buddha rice, and when the smell of nectar comes, you will live forever.

Confucius also said, "Those who do not eat do not die and become gods", and the highest achievement does not need to be eaten, and it will never be born or die.

You said that this sentence was not written in the Four Books and Five Classics, you must know that Confucius's words are not only in the Four Books and Five Classics, this sentence is from "Confucius's Family Language".

Therefore, Confucius is called the master of all ages, the most holy, not casually, he understands these truths, but he does not go on this road, he takes the road of provoking benevolence with one shoulder.

So what? Those who have endless precepts, concentration, wisdom, liberation, and liberation and knowledge are full of merit, and what they eat will never be exhausted.

Why can't I eat this bowl of rice? It should be noted here that the steps common to the study of Buddhist Theravada practice: precepts, concentration, wisdom, liberation, and liberation awareness.

What you see after liberation is called liberation awareness. The first step in learning Buddhism is to keep the vows, because keeping the vows can keep one's mind from being scattered and drowsy, and only then can one cultivate.

If the precepts are not kept well, it will be useless if you want to cultivate them.

"Precept" is what Zhuangzi mentioned, and it is also the "heart fasting" that Confucius said to Yan Hui, starting from the heart.

Fasting and taking vows are a thing, and only when you have attained concentration can you really initiate wisdom, and when wisdom is achieved, you can be liberated from your afflictions, and when you are liberated from your afflictions, you can get rid of the root causes of your afflictions since the beginningless, and only by knowing and seeing from liberation can you have the source of everything.

Light liberation, without initiating liberation, the perception is not yet complete, so we can understand the importance of the insight.

It turns out that this bowl of rice is left over from the Buddha's food that has been eaten by the Buddha who has achieved the merits of "precepts, concentration, wisdom, liberation, and liberation and knowledge".

The food eaten in the Buddha realm can nourish and satisfy all beings, so of course it is endless.

So, the bowl and rice were full of the congregation, and they were still unsatisfied.

Its bodhisattvas, shravakas, celestial beings, and those who eat this meal are safe and happy, just like all the bodhisattvas of the majestic kingdom are also happy. And all the pores are full of wonderful fragrance, just like the fragrance of all the trees in the land of incense.

So, everyone took the meal from the incarnate bodhisattva and ate it with confidence, and all the people present were full, and then looked at the bowl of rice, "still unashamed".

Still, there is no end, and there is still as much as it was before there was no distribution.

All the bodhisattvas present, the shravakas, and those who had eaten this meal, who were originally sick, were all cured, and the state of physical and mental happiness was the same as that of all the bodhisattvas in the land of Elysium.

At the same time, all the pores of the person who have eaten the food are scented, and the fragrance is the same as that of the trees of the incense country.

Which of the four foods is this bowl of rice?

Now I can tell you that it is the spiritual food that is born of the immeasurable merits of contemplating food, contemplating thoughts, precepts, concentration, wisdom, liberation, and liberation knowledge.

Therefore, people who have truly attained enlightenment do not need to eat the food of fireworks in the world, our lives are formed by incomparable merits, and we feel hungry and want to eat, which is one of our karma.

The heaviest karma in the world is food and women, and we beings in the realm of desire are very pitiful, because we work hard for these two things, and we can't get the taste of nectar.
