Chapter 1040: Bodhisattva Walk (1)
There is no limit to the issuance of good roots". Hair is the heart, and the heart is the determination and motivation. Distribution is the act of turning what is thought into facts.
The root of goodness is to plant the root of goodness in the heart, that is, in the eighth alayya consciousness that the consciousness speaks of.
Because it is planted in the root of the body and mind, there is no need to even think about it, and nature does good deeds everywhere, and does nothing but be good, and does nothing but not be good, which is the achievement of the good root.
There is no limit to the bodhisattva's path to the distribution of good roots. Qi is equal, there is no comparison. The limit is the limit. The bodhisattva's issuance of good roots is endless, not that he can stop when he is in harmony with the Buddha, because the issuance of good roots is endless.
Some people only like to release animals, and release is one of the good roots, but I often advise people not to release animals indiscriminately in the city.
For example, if you go to a vegetable market and buy some animals to be released, this is not only not releasing animals, but killing them.
Some of the animal sellers knew that there were people who loved to release animals, so they tried their best to catch them and sell them. Even if you release it today, you will be caught again tomorrow, so it is very difficult to really release it, and sometimes saving a small animal is not necessarily doing good deeds, but doing good deeds requires wisdom.
For example, if someone has no money, it is good, but as soon as you help him, he will have the capital to do evil, so if you do good deeds without wisdom, they will become bad deeds.
But I didn't care, for example, several times people came to cheat money, and they sat there and talked for two hours, and their faces were sweating, because it was very difficult to tell lies. I knew it was a lie, but I sat and listened to him, and finally asked him, how much do you really need?
He said he wanted to run ten. I only had eight pieces of money left in my family at that time, so I gave it all to him.
Before he left the house, he said that he would send it back to me in three days.
I said, don't talk about this, you go slowly.
As soon as he left, my family asked, why did they help him when they knew it was a lie?
I said to them, "Well, you think, that a man can speak for two hours, and it is not expensive for an hour, and he speaks in pain and sweats. Originally, the money was intended for the family's birthday, but now it's not a birthday, and I did a good thing for you.
I later told my son that this man also knew that I knew that he was a liar, but he dared to come, and his courage was admirable. And he also made up a lot of stories, and he put a lot of thought into it, so even if he was deceived, he was romantic! It's also a pleasure.
Another time, a man at the inn stopped me and greeted me very warmly, but I didn't know him at all.
He went straight to it, and I was in a hurry, so I simply asked him, how much money do you need? When he heard this, he hurriedly said, you always have magical powers! I'm going to take a carriage back to my hometown, and I don't have to pay for it. So I gave him the money I had with me, and walked back by myself. I've been involved in a lot of things like this, and it's all fun.
"The things that are strictly decorated with the pure country will become your own Buddha land." This is related to your learning of the Pure Land and reciting the Buddha's rebirth, and if you want to understand this sentence, you have to refer to other scriptures. Amitabha Buddha has 48 vows, and Medicine Buddha has 12 vows.
The 12 Great Wishes of Medicine Buddha represent the oriental culture, which are all the present realities, and the 48 Great Wishes of Amitabha Buddha include the future and are transcendent.
For example, do you dare to make a vow to run a school, and may there not be a single stupid student in it? Can it be done?
Do you dare to make a wish that none of your students will catch a cold?
To ensure that everyone is not sick, even parents can't do it. But the Buddha made such a big wish, and you should study every vow of the Buddha carefully.
Wishing is not to be sent randomly, wishing is not to pray for oneself, vowing is to give one's mental behavior to one's own behavior, and vowing is to make a will.
Why is the Buddha land of the Buddhas so pure and solemn, so beautiful?
