Chapter 800: Fourteen Grades (Medium)
"Sariputta said, 'I see this soil, the hills, the pits, the thorns and gravel, the earth and rocks, the mountains, full of filth and evil." But from our human point of view, Sariputta said, the world has mountains and pits, thorns, dirt and stones, and is full of dirty and smelly things.
Both Sariputta and King Sativa honestly tell what they see, and that's a big problem.
"King Luoji said: The benevolent person has a high heart, and does not rely on the wisdom of the Buddha, so he sees this soil as an impure ear." The king of the snail is called Sariputta
"Benevolent", which is the Buddhist name for the monks or lay people of the same generation, was translated from the Vimala Sutra and began to be used.
In China, it is customary to call Ren Ge or Xian Di, and both Ren and Xian mean high morality. King Sariputta said to Sariputta, "Because your heart is high or low, that is, you have the meaning of discriminating and thinking about everything."
In other words, it's uneven. If the mind is at peace, then all sentient beings are like Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, that is, waiting, and together they are called equanimity.
The concept of equanimity first appeared in human culture when it came from Buddhism. The mind is not equal, so there is a flaw in looking at the world.
And the reason why the mind is unequal is because it does not depend on the wisdom of the Buddha. To attain the wisdom of the Buddha, you must first cultivate the Buddha's eye, and the Buddha's eye will always look at all sentient beings with the eye of compassion.
When people look at people, they look at people with slanted eyes, angry eyes, and flattering eyes. I remember when I was a child, I followed my mother to the temple, and when I saw the image of the Bodhisattva, I asked my mother why the Bodhisattva's eyes didn't seem to wake up.
She casually replied to me that if the Bodhisattva opened his eyes completely, he would not see a good person in the world, so he would have to half-close his eyes.
At that time, I listened to it like this, and when I got older and studied Buddhism, I felt that my mother was really reasonable, and I don't know how she came up with this sentence.
What is Buddha Wisdom? After all, everything is empty, and there is nothing to gain, so when you look at the world according to the Buddha's wisdom, it is natural that the mind is not high, and everything is empty!
It is not dirty or clean, and it is natural to see a pure land.
"Sariputta! Bodhisattvas are equal to all living beings, their hearts are pure, and according to the wisdom of the Buddha, they can see that this Buddha land is pure. "We who claim to be the people who learn the Mahayana Bodhisattva path, it makes people blush when they read the scriptures.
King Luoji went on to say to Sariputta that because the Bodhisattva sees all living beings as equal, if he practices slowly in this way, he will be able to purify his heart deeply, not just superficially.
According to the principle of consciousness-only thinking, when our thoughts and minds are pure, they are not considered to be deep hearts, but only the sixth consciousness is pure, and the seventh and eighth consciousnesses are not yet pure.
Only when the eighth alayas are purified can the mind be considered to be pure, and only when we reach this realm can we truly rely on the wisdom of the Buddha, and then we will see this world as the pure land of the Buddha.
Therefore, when the consciousness is turned into the great circle mirror wisdom, it is not only the consciousness and mind that have been transformed, but the seed mind has been turned pure, and the seeds of habit have been turned away, and then when you look at the world, where is it not pure?
"So the Buddha pressed the ground with his fingers, and in real time there were hundreds of thousands of treasures in the three thousand worlds, such as the treasure solemn Buddha, the immeasurable merit treasure solemn earth, and all the people sighed that they had never had, and they all saw themselves sitting on the treasure lotus." When the Buddha saw that King Luoji and Sariputta had not finished discussing, he showed his powers and pressed his toes on the ground, and at that time, all the jewels of the three thousand worlds and hundreds of millions of jewels were presented.
Speaking of this, I think that the world is upside down, and they all love jewelry and diamonds, but in fact, they are all mud and changed, what's the good?
Diamonds are the same as the molecules of coal, but they are arranged differently. A pottery bowl of the Xia Dynasty is priceless, but it is only burned out of mud, and I buy a new bowl on the street, which is beautiful and practical.
So whether it is good or not, it is all changed by idealism. Here the Buddha presents another face of this world with the power of idealism and wisdom, such as the treasure solemn Buddha, the treasure solemn Buddha land with incalculable merits.
Everyone present saw it, and they were amazed that they had never seen such a scene, and not only that, but everyone also saw themselves sitting on a lotus flower made of jewelry.
