A person may live only thirty-eight and a half years in his life, or he may live to two thirty-eight and a half years, or he may live three.

My former prison chief was the one who served his sentence in the second ward of Lianhuayuan Prison from 2004 to 2006. He was one of the six wardens I went through. This year, he is about 35 years old, short and fat, with a shaved head and fierce eyes. At first glance, he is definitely the boss of the underworld, and he always has a famous saying when he is in meetings:

"There are only twenty or thirty years of time when you can find happiness in life."

His outlook on happiness in life and his personality will not be said for the time being. There is a certain correctness in his statement. Every time he says this, I think of Zhou Mingqiang, a prisoner who was sentenced to 38 and a half years.

Zhou Mingqiang, originally from Enshi, can't remember the year in the mid-eighties very clearly.

He was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison for theft. At that time, he was not yet twenty years old, and his sentence of seven and a half years was originally completed, and he did not reduce his sentence for a day, and he was in his twenties when he went back, but fate rewrote his sentence to thirty-eight and a half years.

He escaped three times, the second brawl caused death, and one theft, I don't know how much his escape and theft were sentenced, but the second brawl caused death, and he was sentenced to 20 years, each time it was ten years, fortunately, he was the least involved person in the group fight, or he had already seen the king of Hades, and the main culprit who caused the death of the group beat was shot, and the other people were sentenced for more than ten years.

It seems wrong to say that he was lucky not to be shot, and it can also be said that he was a disaster, because he is a person who is not good at mixing and has to survive by making water boards (little brothers) for others.

Zhou Mingqiang has completed his sentence, and when his sentence is completed, the prison district also held a farewell party for him.

It is unprecedented for the prison district to hold a farewell party for an inmate, because he is so famous, and his story should be more about his later performance in prison reform, and the prison has set him up as a model. The farewell party depends more on public opinion, and he doesn't know if it's really a farewell. Later, the prison tabloid and Shayang Legal News vigorously publicized that Comrade Zhou Mingqiang had mastered superb mechanical repair skills during his sentence, and was hired by a large state-owned enterprise, namely Wuhan Iron and Steel, with a monthly salary of 4,500 yuan a month.

In fact, after Zhou Mingqiang completed his sentence, he went out and couldn't find a job, and for a long time he begged for food from Qiaozi (the name of a friend of the labor team) he was looking for, and helped to do some chores. No matter what happens to Zhou Mingqiang now, the story of what happened in prison is full of legends and intriguing.

Zhou Mingqiang's disaster, and the disaster is funny, Zhou Mingqiang's first escape occurred shortly after he was sent to prison to serve his sentence, at that time, the prison was black, not only tired, not enough to eat, but also often beaten, these blacks made a very rational and strong person bearable, not to mention a young man like Zhou Mingqiang from the countryside of western Hubei Province, if he was lovingly called, he should be called Zhou Mingqiang, a child, but the prison at that time did not take care of anyone, and the prison at that time had to live well and early, The good ones are often those in society who dare to fight and kill, and are not afraid of being injured and bleeding.

Zhou Mingqiang was hacked soon after he was imprisoned, and he felt that life was worse than death. He kept an eye out for how to escape, and one day he did.

Before the action, Zhou Mingqiang made full preparations, first of all, he observed that at that time, the Lianhuayuan Prison was called Shayang Hui Farm, all engaged in agricultural labor, unlike now, the prisoners are outside the prison every day, and there are many opportunities to escape, especially in the field, when the cotton stalk grows very tall, it can disappear in the vast green sea in a flash.

He seized the opportunity. The second is that he prepares plenty of food for himself. Every morning when he ate steamed buns, he endured hunger, saved the steamed buns he should eat, and then hid them until the day he escaped, and he had saved more than a dozen steamed buns, some of which were as hard as stones. In the end, he planned his escape route, and I don't know how he planned it, but he later talked about this escape plan with relish, and said a lot, but I didn't hear why.

Zhou Mingqiang ran, and on the first day, he hurriedly and panicked through more than a dozen cotton fields, hunched over, as vigilant as the military engineering team behind the enemy line. When running to one of the densest places of cotton trees, he does not run. He knew that he might be spotted by the farmer when he crossed the path in the middle of a field, and that the prison would immediately set up checkpoints in the various roads and search the fields. He found a good place to squat down, and then he simply fell asleep, and covered himself with something, and he actually fell asleep, and he said that he did not know how long he had slept, and that it was very dark from the time he escaped in the morning until he came. When he woke up, he continued to run away, and he knew that the night would be fine, so he fled all night, and at dawn he found another place where he might hide and sleep. For many days, he kept hiding and fleeing.

About a week. After a week, he couldn't bear it anymore, the mosquitoes in the cotton field made him unbearable, and he felt that he had run far enough, and he calculated that it should be more than a hundred kilometers. He wanted to go on the road, he was a little timid, but he finally made up his mind, he hid on the side of the road and observed for a long time and found that there was no danger around, only a few peasants in the field in the distance were busy with farm work, and he boldly walked on the road. I also greeted the people in the farmland happily. Originally, it would be okay to walk his own way after saying hello, and he asked a few people in the field for cigarettes, and someone in the field came to give him a cigarette, he lit the cigarette and sighed, and said loudly:

"Finally out of the lotus wall."

When he had finished speaking, he was pushed to the ground by the peasant who had given him a cigarette, and the peasant beckoned to the other two men in the field, and tied him up tightly, and when he had done so, the peasant told him:

"Brother, if you are real, if it falls into our hands, we just want to get a few dollars to use."

Zhou Mingqiang was puzzled, he asked the farmers,

"How do you know I ran out of prison?"

The peasant told him:

"This place is the territory of the Lianhuayuan Prison, and the field next to my land is the Lianhuayuan Prison, you have been running for a few days, we have all been notified, and we will cover you when we take the prison reward."

Zhou Mingqiang stretched his neck to look, and finally saw clearly, it turned out that the field next to him was the field he escaped from.

Zhou Ming is strong, and he also confirmed a sentence, many people who ran away in the fields said this, Shayang is a strange place, no matter what, no one will guide the way and eventually return to the original place. Shayang is too big, too peaceful, all the landscapes are too similar, there is the same wide land everywhere, and there are large roads and small roads everywhere, just like Shayang This place is full of bald criminals, and it is really difficult for people to suddenly distinguish it.

Zhou Mingqiang's second escape was after he got up.

When he came back from escaping for the first time, he was criticized and tortured and suffered a lot, and his personality converged. Reform performance won the praise of the cadres, at the same time he also got the benefits, his labor position also changed, at this time the prison built a brick Guang, the cadres arranged for him to drive a tractor, many times he will drive the tractor everywhere to send bricks, the prison around dozens of kilometers he can go alone, in this post for a short time, he found a way to make money.

He stole the diesel fuel in Guangli and sold it, making a lot of money, and there was another person who stole and sold the diesel fuel in Guangli with him, this person is called Long Ping, a prison manager who works on behalf of the worker, and also belongs to the cadres, engaged in the management of criminals, they are inside and outside, and it doesn't matter if they sell a small amount of diesel fuel, Zhou Mingqiang is not an old man, but he smokes well all day long, drives the tractor out to prostitute women, and one point, if he has psychological quality, it is fine, and then he is flying so high, and a cadre asks him casually, Asked him if he was playing a ghost, this question scared him so much that he couldn't do it, and the day after the cadre finished the questioning, he took the opportunity to drive the tractor out to deliver bricks and ran away.

This time the run was much easier than the last time, with money on him and away from prison, he parked the car next to the long-distance station and went straight to the long-distance bus in Yichang. His home is in Enshi. When he arrived in Yichang, he had to change trains.

So. When he got off the bus in Yichang and bought a ticket to Enshi, he felt hungry when he waited at the bus station, which was still a long time before the driver. He walked out of the passenger station and chose a relatively clean noodle restaurant nearby, asked for a bowl of beef noodles, and asked for a few taels of white wine. In this way he drank and sang in the bread, and he was also unlucky, and if he had settled down and finished eating the noodles, he would be fine, and at that moment a man sat down at a table behind him and ate beef noodles. Zhou Mingqiang sings when he sings, and when he is interested, he also sings a song about the reform that the prisoners in the prison sing every day.

According to himself, it is a song of "Crime Lessons to Be Remembered", it doesn't matter if this is sung, the person behind him is interested, he stares at Zhou Mingqiang's background, Zhou Mingqiang knows that the person sitting behind him is the head of the prison department.

This section chief, surnamed Zhou, was also imprisoned in 2005, so I won't mention it here. Section Chief Zhou himself has been in Yichang for several days, and he doesn't know about Zhou Mingqiang's escape. And it's strange, Section Chief Zhou is not here to do business, he came to this restaurant this day because he felt hungry in the car, and he was so hungry that he couldn't do it, so he got out of the car and was going to eat a bowl of noodles here and leave. That's how it happened. Section Chief Zhou also asked for a glass of liquor after recognizing Zhou Mingqiang, and quietly changed the position next to Zhou Mingqiang, he held the cup and suddenly said to Zhou Mingqiang, who was still singing:

"Brother Zhou, it's okay."

Zhou Mingqiang was taken aback by this sudden question, and he was stunned when he fixed his eyes. Zhou Mingqiang was taken back to prison in this way. After returning to prison, his escape story was widely told as a joke. Naturally, Zhou Mingqiang was inevitably punished again.

Zhou Mingqiang's third escape was still full of drama.

After Zhou Mingqiang's first two escapes, he became much more sophisticated, and the prison had no walls at that time. But the roll call is often made, and it is impossible to escape if you want to click every ten minutes. He set his sights on the car that delivered goods to Guangli from other places, which usually drove back to the starting point as soon as he thought about the prison, and he could run away by sitting in this car.

From the time a person was found in the prison to the confirmation of his escape, to the issuance of various instructions, this kind of car had already run out of the range of the prison's card. On this day, he found the right opportunity, just in time to climb into a truck that was departing after the roll call. Lying in the cargo bed, no one noticed that the car was running fast, and he was very comfortable. Because he is usually very tired from labor, he is also very sleepy, and he wants to sleep unconsciously, and his heart is crossed, and the farther the fuck goes, the safer it is. In this way, he fell asleep beautifully, not knowing how long the car had been driving, until he fell asleep, he thought, after sleeping for so long, he didn't get up to see that he was there. He got up and stood up, leaning against the wall of the car and looking left and right, he felt that something was wrong, why did the fields outside look so much like the Lotus Prison?

He didn't know that the car itself was a car from the Lianhuayuan Prison. Because of the rush to escape, I forgot to look at the license plate. The car is to go outside to tow goods. Because he didn't get the goods and came back empty, he fell asleep and didn't know anything. If Zhou Mingqiang jumped out of the car at this time and then took the initiative to go back to the prison to evacuate, saying that he had gone to the street to do something, it would probably only be regarded as a disciplinary violation. His life was indeed not good, and at the time when he was looking around, a man happened to pass by the truck on his bicycle. This person is the worker cadre who took him, surnamed Peng. Cadre Peng recognized Zhou Mingqiang at a glance, and he also knew that Zhou Mingqiang was not there when he was named, and it had been 7 or 8 hours, he didn't expect Zhou Mingqiang to escape, it should be said that he didn't confirm it. Because the management was very chaotic at that time, many sons were taken to work at home by the cadres. Or help cadres make furniture, paint and so on.

As soon as he saw Zhou Mingqiang's panicked appearance in the car, he immediately shouted to stop the truck. Zhou Mingqiang ended his third escape in this way. Naturally, it fell into a confinement and increased punishment. Because of his bad luck, in exchange for Captain Peng's luck.

Captain Peng himself is a cadre who works instead of working, and his identity is a worker, but he only performs cadre duties, because of his merit, he immediately changed from a worker to a formal cadre. After becoming a cadre, Captain Peng has been in charge of the second prison room, and Zhou Mingqiang has been serving his sentence in the second prison since then. They formed a relationship from this incident.

In such a dark era, who dares to ask for something from the cadre weapons, Zhou Mingqiang dares, as long as he feels that there is a shortage of oil and water in his stomach one day, he can ask Captain Peng for food in front of all the prisoners, and Team Peng is also a person who knows how to repay his kindness, as long as Zhou Mingqiang has a request - give it all.

The incident of Zhou Mingqiang's two killings is also full of drama, and the cause and process of the two incidents are almost the same, and even the number of sentences increased is the same, ten years.

At that time, there were many cell bosses, and the cell bosses wanted to establish their prestige by beating people. As long as you look at someone who is not pleasing to the eye, they dare to fight to the death, and generally they can't be killed, depending on whether the person who is beaten is lucky or not, and if they hit the critical part, they have to be beaten to death.

The cell bosses have a group of followers, and Zhou Mingqiang is one of the followers, helping the cell boss to shout. When the cell boss beats someone, he goes up and helps with one hand or a kick. Both times someone else had already killed someone. Zhou Mingqiang pulled the noise and scolded and went up to make up for it, but he didn't know that the person had been killed, and after he kicked the dead person, he had to scold:

"Fuck you, you're still pretending to be dead."

In fact, Zhou Mingqiang is not a villain, but he must do this kind of behavior so that he is not bullied, and in this way, Zhou Mingqiang twice became an accomplice to the death incident and was given an increased sentence.

Zhou Mingqiang completed his sentence in 2007, and before he completed his sentence, he said it to people, and he did it very seriously, and told others like a child:

"I'm still a virgin."

Let people tell him what a woman is, there are many people who believe it, and those who have it in their hearts don't want to refute him, when he drove a tractor during the very beautiful time, he didn't go to the place under the Shayang Bridge to eat "fast food", but he didn't have a detailed experience of women.

Zhou Mingqiang still did a good job, his sentence was reduced by more than six years, and he was set up by the prison as a typical example of mastering a skill, to be honest, his machine repair skills in prison are too far from the length of a branch, what machinery does the prison have for him to repair? The few things that can be called machines are broken, and when they break, it is not that he asks the prison to buy new parts to replace them, and many inmates say that he is not capable, and that his little work can be done by many people, even children.

Zhou Mingqiang's last three years in prison were very popular, and the bureau and the prison newspaper reported on him at length, and this and that chief took him out to educate the inmates during meetings, and the managers knew what his future would be. The inmates are more aware of it. But there's a table for sure. Zhou Mingqiang is not a bad person, at least not in essence.
