(47) Common peroneal nerve injury
Common peroneal nerve injury falls under the category of "foot impotence" in traditional Chinese medicine, and its typical symptom is "foot drop varus". Can occur at all ages. Traumatic squeezing or squatting for too long can cause damage to the peroneal nerve; Diabetes mellitus and tuberculous arteritis can also be the cause of the disease.
The affected foot and toes of the patient cannot be extended dorsally, it is easy to trip when walking, and the foot cannot be lifted when walking. When the foot lands, the toes drop first, and then the whole soles of the feet hit the ground, similar to chicken or horse steps, the ankle dorsal extension weakness, foot abduction and valgus weakness, the clubway pendulum deformity, the anterolateral calf and the dorsum of the foot are impaired, sometimes extending to the lower 1/3 of the anterolateral aspect of the calf.
1. Methods and steps
See Figure 2-2-47.

(2) Immediately following the above method, the surgeon uses the middle finger of the right hand to rub the patient's Shenque, Qihai, Guan Yuan, and Zhongji for 3~5 minutes, see this figure (2).
(3) The position is the same as above, and the surgeon rubs the patient's blood sea, Zusanli and Sanyin acupoints with his thumb slightly for 3~5 minutes, see this figure (3).
(4) In the prone position of the patient, the surgeon kneades and pushes the patient's spine acupoints for 5~10 minutes at the lumbosacral region and the eight mash acupoints with the palm root, and uses the multi-finger kneading method to rub and push the patient's spine acupoints such as Xinyu, Diaphragm, Spleen, Kidney, Sanjiaoyu, and Bladder for 5~10 minutes, see Figure (4).
2. Precautions
(1) Traditional Chinese medicine believes that menstrual irregularities are divided into early and late periods, generally speaking, the early stage is mostly blood fever, and the later stage is mostly blood cold. Blood fever can be dissipated by heat, and blood cold can be warmed.
(2) Maintain a good mood during menstruation, and do not get angry and depressed, which aggravates the condition.
(3) Patients with blood cold can cooperate with self-treatment with hot compresses, and patients with blood fever can cooperate with heat clearing and prevention.
(4) If it is often repeated irregularly, attention should also be paid to the diagnosis and treatment of other aspects of gynecology, as well as the diagnosis of other systemic diseases.
(11) Pelvic stasis syndrome
It is a syndrome caused by chronic pelvic venous blood stasis due to a variety of causes. Long-term upright work, posterior position**, early marriage and prolific birth, constipation, sexual incoordination, etc., can cause slowing of pelvic venous blood flow, blood stasis, and congestion and edema of local tissues and organs. **Mouth,**body,**endometrium-interstitium,-ovaries enlarged due to edema, affecting normal function.
Most of the patients have long-term standing work, early marriage, and multiple births. Weakness, dull pain, soreness in the lower abdomen, abnormal fatigue, difficulty in continuing to work, even unable to do housework, difficulty falling asleep, dreaming a lot, irritability, palpitations, headache, bloating and shortness of breath.
1. Methods and steps
See Figure 2-3-11.
Figure 2-3-11 Massage for pelvic stasis syndrome
(1) The patient is in the supine position, the surgeon is located on the right side, and the patient's abdomen is repeatedly gently kneaded and pushed for 3~5 minutes with the palm of both hands, and the force should not be too heavy, and the patient's local relaxation is appropriate, see this figure (1).
(2) Immediately after the above method, the surgeon uses the point shaking method to repeat the operation around the patient's umbilicus and under the umbilicus for 3~5 minutes, see this figure (2).
(3) The surgeon uses the middle finger to rub the patient's Shenque, Daheng, Tianshu, Qihai, Guanyuan, Zhongji and other acupoints for 3~5 minutes, see Figure (3).
(4) Immediately following the above method, the surgeon uses his thumb to rub the patient's blood sea, Zusanli, Sanyinjiao, Yongquan and other acupoints for 3~5 minutes, see this figure (4).
2. Precautions
(1) Patients with this disease should pay attention to strengthening rest while receiving the above treatment, especially not doing heavy physical labor.
(2) It is more appropriate to take the right side decubitus position when sleeping to reduce the pressure on the pelvis.
(3) Keep the stool smooth to reduce abdominal pressure, and pay attention to the stimulation of the pelvic cavity.
(4) Perform physical exercises within your capacity to enhance pelvic muscle tone.
(12) Menopausal syndrome
Before and after menopause, women have various symptoms such as menstrual disorders, dizziness, tinnitus, palpitations, insomnia, irritability, hot sweating, and even abnormal mood, which is menopausal syndrome. In traditional Chinese medicine, it is called premenopausal and postmenopausal symptoms, which mostly occur in women aged 45~55.
In women before and after menopause, the kidney qi gradually declines, the second pulse of Chong Ren fails, the essence and blood are insufficient, the balance of yin and yang is out of balance, and the kidney yin is insufficient. This disease is mainly kidney deficiency, biased towards yin deficiency or yang deficiency, or yin and yang deficiency.
The main symptoms are dizziness, tinnitus, hot sweating, palpitations, insomnia, irritability, pallor, edema of the lower limbs, lack of appetite, frequent urination, loose stools, menstrual disorders, restless mood, memory loss, and blood pressure fluctuations.
1. Methods and steps
See Figure 2-3-12.
Figure 2-3-12 Menopausal syndrome massage
(1) The patient is in the supine position, and the surgeon takes the navel as the center of the patient's abdomen and applies the massage method clockwise with the palm of the right hand for about 5 minutes, as shown in this figure (1).
(2) The surgeon uses the tip of the middle finger to rub the patient's Jizhong, Jianli, Qihai, Guanyuan and other acupoints for 3~5 minutes, see this figure (2).
(3) The patient is placed in the prone position, and the surgeon is treated from top to bottom with the root of the palm in the spine of the patient, and the chest and waist are focused on treatment for 5~10 minutes, and the heart Yu, diaphragm Yu, spleen Yu, liver Yu, kidney Yu, Sanjiao Yu and other acupoints are rubbed to soreness and swelling, see this figure (3).
(4) The surgeon treats the patient's lumbosacral region with palm rubbing and multi-finger kneading for 3~5 minutes, and it is advisable to have a local feeling of warmth, see this figure (4).
2. Precautions
(1) Menopausal syndrome is a normal physiological phenomenon, and patients should not be overly nervous and overburdened.
(2) Women before and after menopause should go to the hospital regularly for necessary examinations to avoid missing diagnosis and delaying the condition.
(3) Patients should also maintain a good attitude and appropriately strengthen physical exercise to enhance physical fitness and immunity.
(4) If there are other diseases with concomitation, you can refer to other diseases in this book for treatment, or go to the hospital for relevant symptomatic diagnosis and treatment.
4. Pediatric disease massage
(1) Anorexia in children
Anorexia, also known as bad eating, refers to the condition that children do not eat greedily, lack of appetite, and even refuse to eat for a long time. The disease is more common in children aged 1~6 years, and its occurrence is not obvious seasonality, and the symptoms can be aggravated in summer. Children with anorexia generally have a normal mental state and a good prognosis.
The main causes are uncontrolled diet, improper feeding, and damage to the spleen and stomach due to multiple and long-term diseases, with improper feeding being the most common. The diseased viscera is in the spleen and stomach, and the pathogenesis is the abnormality of the spleen and stomach.
The child has a long-term anorexia and no other medical conditions. There is a history of improper feeding, such as irregular and quantitative eating, overeating raw and cold, forced eating, abdominal distension after eating, and even vomiting, irregular stool, etc.
1. Methods and steps
See Figure 2-4-1.
Figure 2-4-1 Anorexia massage in children
(1) The child is placed in a supine position, and the surgeon first uses the right palm kneading method to rub and push clockwise on the child's abdomen with the navel as the center of the circle for 3~5 minutes, and the strength of the technique is to the degree that the child can accept with a little force, see this figure (1).
(2) Immediately after the upper method, the surgeon uses the thumb to rub the upper, middle and lower navel of the child, Jianli, Tianshu and Daheng acupoints, and repeat the operation for 3~5 minutes, see this figure (2).
(3) In the prone position, the surgeon first uses the threaded surface of the index and middle finger of the right hand as the focus point, wipes the child's spine 3~5 times from top to bottom, and rubs the spleen, stomach, large intestine and other acupoints for about 3 minutes, see this figure (3).
(4) Immediately after the above method, the surgeon then rubs the patient's Zusanli acupoint with his thumb for 1~3 minutes, see this figure (4).
2. Precautions
(1) Change bad eating habits and eat less sweet and sticky foods.
(2) Anorexia is mostly caused by uncontrolled diet and overeating, and the feeding of children should be scientific and reasonable.
(3) Snacks should be properly controlled, but absolute rejection of snacks is not recommended. It is advisable to eat less snacks on the premise of eating a good meal.
(4) If the child is breastfed, the nursing mother's diet should be healthy and regular.
(2) Vomiting in children
Pediatric vomiting is caused by a variety of causes, the most severe of which can be life-threatening. The action of forcibly expelling the contents of the stomach and intestines through the cardia, esophagus, and mouth is called vomiting. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that when stomach qi drops, it is smooth. The stomach qi is not in harmony, and if it goes up, it vomits. Feeling cold or heat, eating raw and cold, hurting food, and weak stomach qi can all lead to vomiting.
Vomiting may occur suddenly, or nausea may occur followed by vomiting. In severe cases of vomiting, suffocation may occur; recurrent vomiting, which can lead to dehydration and electrolyte dysfunction; Prolonged vomiting can lead to malnutrition and impaired growth.
1. Methods and steps
See Figure 2-4-2.
Figure 2-4-2 Vomiting massage in children
(1) The child is placed in a supine position, and the surgeon first uses the four fingers of the right hand except the thumb to put together, and the fingertips are used as the focus point, and the navel is used as the center of the circle to rub the abdomen in a clockwise direction for 3~5 minutes, and the strength can be slightly heavier as appropriate, see this figure (1).
(2) Immediately following the above method, the surgeon uses his fingers to rub the child's Qihai, Guan Yuan, Zhongji, and Zusanli acupoints for 3~5 minutes, see this figure (2).
(3) The surgeon uses his thumb to press and rub the child's Chengpule, Nei, Wai Lao Gong and Neiguan acupoints for 3~5 minutes, see Figure (3).
(4) In the prone position, the surgeon pinched the spine from the bottom to the top for 3~5 times and wiped the spine from the top down for 3~5 times, as shown in Figure (4).
2. Precautions
(1) The above treatment methods are mainly suitable for patients with non-organic obstruction of the digestive tract, non-intracranial injury, inflammation, space-occupying lesions, non-poisoning, and non-other infections.
(2) If the vomiting is caused by dietary reasons or gastrointestinal discomfort, attention should be paid to dietary moderation, cleanliness and gastrointestinal function regulation.
(3) If the child is caused by cold, you can eat some brown sugar and ginger juice to stop vomiting warmly.
(4) If the disease is caused by the nursing mother, the nursing mother should be treated and taken care of.
(3) Pediatric chancre accumulation
Due to improper feeding or other diseases, the spleen and stomach are damaged, the movement is abnormal, and the gas and fluid are consumed, which affects the growth and development of children, which is called chancre. Children's spleen is often insufficient, and the cold and temperature cannot be self-regulated, and the diet cannot be self-controlled. If you feed improperly or overeat fatty sweets, picky eaters, picky eaters, and repeated vomiting and diarrhea, it can affect the transportation function of the spleen and stomach, damage the qi of the spleen and stomach, and deplete the qi, blood and fluid, resulting in the accumulation of chancre; Post-illness disorders, careless medication, injury to the spleen and stomach, loss of qi and blood, and can also form chancre accumulation.
The main symptoms are emaciation, distended abdomen or concave abdomen with green tendons, dull complexion, sparse or scorched hair, listlessness, irritability. The child may like to rub his eyebrows and eyes, or like to suck his fingers and grind his teeth.
1. Methods and steps
See Figure 2-4-3.
Figure 2-4-3 Pediatric chancre massage
(1) The patient is placed in a supine position, and the end of the index, middle and ring fingers of the operator's right hand is centered on the navel in the abdomen of the child, and the abdomen is rubbed slightly harder clockwise for 3~5 minutes, as shown in this figure (1).
(2) Immediately following the above method, the surgeon uses the index and middle fingers of the right hand to knead the back of the child with the point kneading method and focuses on the Changqiang acupoint for treatment, 3~5 minutes, see Figure (2).
(3) The surgeon rubs the child's foot three miles and three yin points for 3~5 minutes, see this figure (3).
(4) In the prone position, the surgeon uses the right index finger, middle finger and ring finger to wipe the spine 3~5 times from top to bottom, and then pinch and accumulate 5~10 times, see Figure (4).
2. Precautions
(1) Children with this disease are mostly caused by improper feeding, so the diet should be scientific, reasonable, rich and diverse.
(2) Clinically it can also be seen that it is caused by congenital gastrointestinal hypofunction, and symptomatic treatment such as appropriate appetizing, spleen strengthening, and digestion aid can be given at the same time as the above treatment.
(3) Most children with this disease have weak constitution, so they should actively strengthen outdoor sports and exercise to promote appetite and enhance physical fitness.
(4) This disease should be paid attention to avoid mental retardation or developmental delay in children.
(4) Diarrhea in children
Pediatric diarrhea can occur in all seasons and is characterized by frequent stools, loose, watery or with undigested milk and mucus, often accompanied by vomiting. If the disease is not treated promptly or severely, it often causes varying degrees of dehydration and electrolyte imbalances.
Weak spleen and stomach function in children, external wind chill or uncontrolled milk diet can cause diarrhea. In particular, sudden changes in climate, such as a cold in the abdomen and caudal sacral, can cause diarrhea due to accelerated bowel movements. In addition, unclean diet, improper feeding, and breast milk that is too oily, too greasy, too cold, too hot, etc., can cause diarrhea.
The main symptoms are increased stool frequency, loose or watery stools, pale yellow color, and a small amount of mucus. It may be accompanied by nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, fever and other symptoms. Severe diarrhea can present with dehydration, acid-base imbalance, and electrolyte imbalances.
1. Methods and steps
See Figure 2-4-4.
Figure 2-4-4 Massage for pediatric diarrhea
(1) In the supine position, the surgeon uses the fingers of the right hand to the index finger, middle finger and ring finger of the abdomen, and gently rubs the abdomen clockwise with the navel as the center of the circle for 3~5 minutes, as shown in this figure (1).
(2) Immediately after the above method, the surgeon uses the middle finger of the right hand to press and rub the child's Tianshu, Daheng, Shenque, Zusanli, and Sanyin Jiao for 3~5 minutes, see this figure (2).
(3) In the prone position, the surgeon first pushes and rubs the Gumei acupoint with the index and middle finger of the right hand for 1~3 minutes, as shown in Figure (3).
(4) Immediately following the upper method, the surgeon uses the chiropractic method to repeatedly pinch and accumulate 3~5 times from bottom to top, see this figure (4).
2. Precautions
(1) Diarrhea can be a symptom alone or a symptom of other diseases, and should be clearly diagnosed to avoid missed or misdiagnosed.
(2) Pay attention to scientific feeding, preferably breastfeeding. During this period, the nursing mother's diet should be light and easy to digest. Eat less cold, starchy foods and gas-producing foods, such as greens, potatoes, cauliflower, etc.
(3) The nursing mother is in a happy and comfortable mood. When you are tired or in hot weather, express your milk before breastfeeding, and pay attention to ** and hand hygiene.
(4) Pay attention to strengthen the warmth of the abdomen, lumbosacral region and feet of the child, drink more water, and prevent electrolyte disorders.
(5) Constipation in children
Constipation refers to constipation, prolonged stool intervals, or difficulty in passing stool despite the urge to defecate, or stool every 3 days or more. Constipation can occur alone or in other chronic conditions. The main cause is due to the impotence of the child's body, coupled with the excessive consumption of hot products or breast milk, resulting in heat accumulation in the stomach and intestines, and qi stagnation; Or after fever, the wound fluid is consumed, and the intestines are not moisturized, resulting in dry stools, which are difficult to discharge.
The main symptoms are dry stool or 1 bowel movement in more than 3 days, hot face, polydipsia, bad breath, decreased diet, abdominal distension, and shortness of urine.
1. Methods and steps
See Figure 2-4-5.
Figure 2-4-5 Massage for pediatric constipation
(1) In the supine position, the surgeon first rubs and pushes the fingers of the index, middle and ring fingers of the right hand on the child's abdomen clockwise for 3~5 minutes, as shown in this figure (1).

(3) In the prone position, the surgeon uses the index and middle finger of the right hand to wipe the spine from top to bottom for 3~5 minutes, and the skin of the child cannot be scratched, as shown in this figure (3) and (4).
2. Precautions
(1) Children should develop good bowel habits and defecate on time every day.
(2) Eat fresh fruits and vegetables and crude fiber in moderation.
(3) Eat less gas-producing and indigestible foods, such as potatoes and corn.
(4) Strengthen exercise and exercise, especially after meals, and take a walk to enhance intestinal peristalsis.
(6) Enuresis in children
Enuresis is a condition in which you don't urinate involuntarily while sleeping. Bedwetting is common in children over 3 years of age. Pediatric enuresis is more common in preschool children, but a significant proportion of primary school students are also present. Physical weakness, excessive playfulness during the day, urogenital malformations, urinary tract infections, parasitic diseases, spinal or craniocerebral injuries, developmental and malnutrition, etc., can lead to dysfunction of the cerebral cortex and reflexes of the spinal cord, resulting in enuresis.
The main symptom is urination while asleep, mostly in the middle of the night or early morning, once a few times a few times a night in mild cases, and several times a night in severe cases. Patients with a long course of disease may have paleness, chlorosis, general weakness, cold limbs, mental dementia, mental retardation and other symptoms.
1. Methods and steps
See Figure 2-4-6.
Figure 2-4-6 Pediatric enuresis massage
(1) The patient is placed in a supine position, and the surgeon first gently rubs the child's lower abdomen with the fingertips of the index, middle and ring fingers of the right hand for 3~5 minutes, and the local skin feels warm, as shown in this figure (1).
(2) Immediately following the above method, the surgeon uses the middle finger of the right hand to rub the child's Qihai, Guan Yuan, Zhongji, and Yongquan acupoints for 3~5 minutes, and the force should not be too heavy, see this figure (2).
(3) The patient should be placed in the prone position, and the surgeon should rub the child's spine and both sides from top to bottom 3~5 times with the thenar part of the right hand, and the local skin should be slightly hot, and the skin should not be scratched, see this figure (3).
(4) The surgeon uses the right finger of the index, middle and ring fingers to knead the spine of the child from top to bottom for 3~5 minutes, especially the caudal sacral part should be slightly rubbed hard, see Figure (4).
2. Precautions
(1) Before treatment, X-ray can be done to examine the child's lumbosacral region to rule out congenital lumbosacral fissure.
(2) Actively guide and train children to develop the habit of urinating on time, and should not be overly excited and fatigued before going to bed.
(3) Children with enuresis should not drink more water before going to bed at night, and should drink less soup, juice and other beverages at dinner.
(4) Appropriately strengthen outdoor exercise to enhance the physical fitness of children.
(7) Children's night crying
Children cry peacefully during the day and at night, and even stay up all night and stay awake all night, which is called night crying. It is more common in infants and young children under 6 months of age. This article mainly introduces the treatment of the esophectogenic type of night crying. Children's organs are delicate, and the spleen is often insufficient. If the feeding is improper, the milk is excessive, the spleen and stomach are damaged, the accumulation does not disappear, the belly and abdomen are full, and the night is uncomfortable and crying. Therefore, there is a saying that "if the stomach is not in harmony, you will be restless".
The main symptoms are crying at night, abdominal distension and refusal to press, bad breath, sluggishness, sour stool, white and greasy, etc.
1. Methods and steps
See Figure 2-4-7.
Figure 2-4-7 Pediatric crying massage

(3) The child is placed in a prone position, and the surgeon uses the small thenar part of the right hand as the focus point, and repeatedly pushes and rubs the spine on the child's spine and both sides for 3~5 minutes, with the local skin warmth as the degree, see this figure (3).
(4) Immediately following the above method, the surgeon uses chiropractic to repeatedly pinch the spine of the child 3~5 times, and slightly press and knead the child's Xinyu, Diaphragm, Sanjiao Yu and other acupoints for 3~5 minutes, see this figure (4).
2. Precautions
(1) Night crying is generally more common in children who are too young and have not yet fully developed their nervous system, and it is normal to occasionally appear, so there is no need to worry too much.
(2) Most of the children are infants and young children, and the treatment should not be too heavy.
(3) If the child's night crying is caused by food accumulation, it should be noted that it should not be too full before going to bed; If you sleep too much during the day, you should pay attention to reducing the amount of sleep you spend during the day.
(4) The clinical causes are mostly caused by overhunger, oversatiety, intestinal spasms, cold, fright, etc. If accompanied by other symptoms or other adverse reactions, you should actively seek medical attention and treat the symptoms.
(8) Pertussis
Pertussis is an infectious disease caused by the bacillus pertussis, which is characterized by paroxysmal spasmodic cough with a long course of illness. After the pertussis bacillus invades the human body, the bronchial mucosa becomes inflamed, the mucosal secretions increase, and the mucosal sensory nerve endings are continuously stimulated by mucus, causing a violent continuous cough.
Pertussis is usually divided into 3 stages. Initial symptoms are similar to those of a common cold, with cough, sneezing, and runny nose; The cough intensifies in the medium term and becomes more and more severe, and the cough is characterized by coughing one after another, with a red face and red eyes, and a sound like a rooster crow in the throat, often accompanied by vomiting; The end stage is 2~3 weeks, and the above symptoms gradually disappear.
1. Methods and steps
See Figure 2-4-8.
Figure 2-4-8 Pertussis massage

(3) The patient was placed in the prone position, and the surgeon gently rubbed the two shoulder blades with the index and middle finger tips on the child's back for 3~5 minutes, as shown in Figure (3).
(4) The surgeon uses two thumbs to slightly press and rub the child's Erliang Zong acupoints, and press and rub the child's Dazhu, Lung, Spleen, Kidney, Sanjiao, Bladder and other acupoints for 3~5 minutes, see Figure (4).
2. Precautions
(1) The treatment of whooping cough needs to be carried out according to the course of treatment. In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to health care on a daily basis.
(2) If the cough does not improve after 3~5 times of the above treatment, it can be treated with medication or go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment.
(3) Children with this disease often have low constitution and immunity, and the treatment should be accompanied by strengthening nutrition, enhancing outdoor exercise, and enhancing physical fitness and disease resistance.
(4) If there are children with allergies, they should actively avoid contact with allergens and keep the room clean and ventilated.
(9) Rickets
Rickets is a chronic nutritional deficiency in infancy, caused by growth and development disorders, more common in children under 3 years old, especially in 6~12 months of infants. Modern medicine believes that it is due to the deficiency of vitamin D, which causes calcium and phosphorus metabolism disorders, and calcium and phosphorus cannot be deposited normally in the growth parts of bones, resulting in abnormal bone development.
Main symptoms: hyperhidrosis, irritability, fatigue and weakness, occipital alopecia, abdominal distention, lack of appetite, delayed speech, late closing of the fontanelle. In more severe cases, "O" shaped legs, "X" shaped legs, spinal deformities and other symptoms may occur.
1. Methods and steps
See Figure 2-4-9.
Figure 2-4-9 Massage for rickets
(1) The child is placed in a supine position, and the surgeon first uses both hands on the child's chest and repeatedly pushes and rubs along the intercostal space for 3~5 minutes, as shown in this figure (1).

(3) The surgeon uses the middle finger to rub the child's upper navel, middle cavity, lower navel, Jianli, Qihai, and Guanyuan acupoints, and uses the thumb to repeatedly operate on the child's Xuehai, Zusanli, and Sanyin Jiao acupoints for 3~5 minutes, as shown in this figure (3).
(4) The child is seated, and the surgeon uses the base of the palm of the right hand or the thenar part of the right hand to push and rub the child's spine and both sides of the spine from top to bottom repeatedly for 3~5 minutes, with the local skin warmth as the degree, see this figure (4).
2. Precautions
(1) The clinical practice of children with this disease is mostly caused by congenital or acquired nutritional deficiencies, and attention should be paid to strengthening the nutrition of children.
(2) Advocate breastfeeding, which contains a variety of irreplaceable nutrients.
(3) Give the baby more sun, especially the spine. It is not advisable to stand and walk too early.
(4) Appropriate outdoor activities, children or nursing mothers eat more foods containing more calcium, so as to supplement nutrition reasonably.
(10) Cerebral palsy
Cerebral palsy, or cerebral palsy for short, is a syndrome caused by non-progressive brain damage between birth and within 1 month of birth. The disease can be caused by prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum brain infection, hemorrhage, hypoxia, poisoning, and trauma. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that it is caused by congenital deficiency, lack of qi and blood, emptiness of the medullary sea, weak muscles and bones, blocked meridians, and limb muscles and veins.
The main symptoms are tonic paralysis, increased muscle tone, hyperreflexia, decreased or absent superficial skin reflexes, and positive pathological reflexes. Patients with severe disease often have intellectual disability, speech impairment, loss of control of stool, salivation, soft neck, strabismus, muscle spasms of limbs, and inability to stand and walk. Apraxia amyotrophy may occur in patients with a longer course of disease.
1. Methods and steps
See Figure 2-4-10.

2. Precautions
(1) Children with this disease should be diagnosed and treated early, and the earlier the treatment, the better the effect.
(2) Treat with confidence and patience, whether in the hospital or at home.
(3) Strengthen children's nutrition and limb function exercises.
(4) Actively prevent and prevent concurrent and concomitant diseases.
(11) Stagnation
Stagnation is a gastrointestinal disease caused by the accumulation of milk and damage to the spleen and stomach, with diarrhea or constipation, vomiting, and abdominal distension as the main symptoms. Stagnation is closely related to the accumulation of chancre, if the injury is not healed by milk food for a long time, the progression of the disease can become an accumulation, the accumulation does not disappear for a long time, and the delay is not treated, which affects the nutrition and growth and development of children, and the body is becoming emaciated day by day, which can be transformed into chancre.
Children's spleen is often insufficient, if the milk is not controlled, the spleen and stomach will be damaged, so that the spleen and stomach are derelict in their duties, and the rise and fall are out of balance, and become stagnant. Children's stomach qi is weak or weak after illness, and spleen qi is deficient, so that milk food cannot be eliminated, and stagnation can be formed in the void. The main manifestations are pale complexion, irritability and crying, restlessness at night, lack of appetite, abdominal distention, loose stool or constipation, short yellow urine or rice swill, accompanied by low-grade fever.
1. Methods and steps
See Figure 2-4-11.

2. Precautions
(1) Scientific and reasonable feeding, control children's diet, and develop good eating habits.
(2) Avoid overeating sweet, sticky, fatty, sweet, and thick flavors, and do not overeat.
(3) Children's diet should be light and nutritious, not over-snack, and drink less carbonated drinks.
(4) Promote breastfeeding.
(12) Pediatric torticollis
Pediatric torticollis, commonly known as "crooked neck", is mostly caused by congenital developmental abnormalities and loss in the production process, as well as incorrect posture, bad habits and improper care after birth. Clinically, it is divided into 4 types: muscular, bony, neurological and habitual. It is manifested by a crooked head and neck to the affected side and a face to the unaffected side. In severe cases, facial muscle atrophy and strabismus may occur.
1. Methods and steps
See Figure 2-4-12.

(2) After the baby is born, pay attention to the posture, posture and shape of the baby's head and neck, and if there is any deviation, you should go to the hospital in time to ask a doctor for a consultation.
(3) If the child is a torticollis, the functional exercise and rehabilitation of the child's head and neck should be strengthened during treatment. For example, change the direction of the baby's head and feet every week; It is not advisable to hang objects at the head of the baby's bed and on the top of the bedroom, so as not to make the baby stare for a long time.
(4) The neck should be kept clean and dry to avoid local skin damage and infection.
(13) Tongue sticking out
Tongue tricking refers to the tongue when it is exposed, and it is frequently played, commonly known as "tongue wind" and "snake silk shock". The tongue is elongated and retracted, and the tongue is protruded when it is exported but not retracted. Tongue making and tongue sticking out are all pathologies, which are more common after a serious illness, which is a sign of excessive loss of heart and spleen, and the prognosis is not good. Loss of heart and spleen or heat accumulation, insufficient fluid. The fire is inflammatory, so shake the tongue to soothe it. It is common to see thirst, red face, frequent tongue twitching, boredom and coldness, abdominal distention, lack of food and drink, yellow and smelly stools, etc.

(4) Actively strengthen outdoor sports and exercise in children.
5. Massage for ENT diseases
(1) Toothache
Toothache is a common symptom of oral diseases, which is exacerbated by cold, heat, sour, sweet and other stimuli. There is a distinction between the virtual and the real. The real pain is mostly caused by stomach fire and wind fire; Deficiency and pain are mostly caused by the deficiency of kidney yin.
The main symptoms are toothache, loose teeth, bleeding gums, pus between teeth, and affecting chewing. Toothache is very severe, with bad breath, thirst, constipation, yellow tongue coating and other symptoms, which is the suffering of yang and fire; Pain and even swollen gums, combined with cold and body heat, etc., for wind and fire toothache; If there is a dull pain, it is a toothache with kidney deficiency.
1. Methods and steps
See Figure 2-5-1.
Figure 2-5-1 Toothache massage

2. Precautions
(1) Patients with toothache usually have a strong stomach fire and stool, so they should keep their stool smooth while receiving the above treatment.
(2) Pay attention to oral hygiene, and consult a dentist regularly to treat the primary lesion.
(3) The diet should be light and easy to digest, and you can eat more laxative food.
(2) Deafness
Deafness refers to varying degrees of hearing loss and even hearing loss. It is one of the most common diseases of ear disease and can be a complication of many diseases, as well as isolated occurrences. The main cause of the disease is the invasion of wind and heat; The liver is on fire and disturbs the clear mind; phlegm and fire crush the ear holes; Renal sperm loss and malnutrition; Weakness of the spleen and stomach and loss of luck.
The main symptoms of patients are hearing impairment, loss or even disappearance. If there are also signs of hearing impairment on objective examination, deafness can be diagnosed.

(2) Traditional Chinese medicine believes that deafness is mostly caused by kidney deficiency. Therefore, attention should be paid to the maintenance of kidney essence, which is beneficial to the rehabilitation of deafness.
(3) At the same time of the above self-treatment, you can eat some foods that nourish the liver and kidneys, such as a small amount of animal liver, kidney, black rice, black beans, etc.
(4) This disease is mostly closely related to the law of life, and attention should be paid to a regular life, and outdoor sports should be appropriately strengthened to enhance physical fitness.
(3) Tinnitus
Tinnitus is an auditory abnormality that can be caused by a variety of conditions. Tinnitus is mainly caused by the sound of ringing in the ears, and even hearing loss or hearing loss. Tinnitus can be divided into two types: false and empirical. False evidence is more common in middle-aged and elderly people, and empirical evidence is more common in young people.
Hypothetical patients with long-term illness and tinnitus, or tinnitus that stops from time to time, the voice is low, the strain is aggravated, and the sound is weakened, and most of them have dizziness, spermatozoa or belt; The empirical person is violently ill with tinnitus, or the ears are swollen, and the sound is constant, such as the sound of cicadas or the sound of the tide, and the sound is unabated, accompanied by dry mouth and red face, irritability, anger, or chest tightness and phlegm.

(3) At the same time as the above self-treatment, it can be combined with some dietary therapy for health care and treatment.
(4) At the same time of treatment, life care and exercise should also be strengthened.
(4) Ear swelling and ear closure
Ear swelling and auricular closure are ear diseases with a feeling of swelling and blockage in the ear as the main symptom. At the beginning of the disease, the ear is swollen and painful, which is called "ear swelling" or "ear swelling pain"; For those who have been sick for a long time, the ears are blocked by objects, and the eyes are occluded, so it is called "ear closure". Similar to acute and chronic non-purulent otitis media, respectively.
The main symptoms are swelling, discomfort or slight pain in the ear, tinnitus like hearing the wind, and sudden loss of hearing, but the sound of listening to oneself is greater than usual; The feeling of swelling and blockage in the ear does not heal for a long time, and there are grayish-white deposits and ecchymosis on the eardrum. Hearing examination shows conductive hearing loss.

(4) Life should be regular, strengthen exercise, and pay attention to the combination of work and rest.
(5) Temporomandibular joint dysfunction
Temporomandibular joint dysfunction, also known as temporomandibular arthritis, is a disease caused by the temporomandibular joint due to external force, repeated strain, or cold and inflammatory stimulation, resulting in temporomandibular joint dysfunction, local pain, limited mouth opening, joint snapping and other symptoms. The disease is more common in young adults aged 20~40 years old, often occurs on one side, but can also involve both sides.
At first, I only felt discomfort and tightness in the inferior temporal joint, and then the local soreness gradually worsened, and it was difficult to open the mouth. It appears on one side at first and affects the contralateral side over time.
1. Methods and steps
See Figure 2-5-5.

(2) You should also pay attention to brushing your teeth with warm water, eat less cold or irritating food, and eat less food that is too hard.
(3) You can do appropriate exercises for facial expression muscles, chew gum and other exercises appropriately, and avoid opening your mouth too widely.
(6) Visual fatigue
Eye fatigue is one of the most common symptoms that can occur at any age, often after seeing with the eyes. Refractive error, excessive difference in refractive status between the two eyes, overuse of the eyes due to normal vision, poor lighting, non-refractive diseases of the eye, mental factors, etc., can cause adverse stimulation to the eyeball, ocular muscles, and cranial nerves, and cause visual fatigue.
Discomfort and pain around the eyeball and orbit may be reduced or disappear with the eyes closed and rested, and may recur after the eyes are used again. photophobia in the affected eye, tears in sight, soreness and pain in the center of the eyebrows, forehead and temporal; If you continue to use your eyes to see, you can feel blurred objects, headaches, brain swelling, and dizziness.

(2) Maintain a good attitude and feel comfortable.
(3) You can eat some foods that are good for your eyesight (such as animal liver) and some blood-nourishing foods, such as spinach, red beans, jujubes, etc.
(7) Amblyopia
The affected eye has low visual acuity, although there is no organic lesion, but after wearing corrective lenses, its vision still cannot reach the normal level, which is called amblyopia.
Amblyopia is caused by a variety of causes. Congenital amblyopia is caused by retinal hemorrhage at birth, which affects the normal development of visual function. It can occur in infancy and early childhood, but it can be difficult to detect at an early stage. Monocular disease is common. Those who are young and cannot express themselves because they cannot speak; In older patients, there may be complaints of head swelling, headache, and visual discomfort. Strabismic amblyopia, with overt strabismus or negative strabismus in the affected eye; Ansometropic amblyopia, in which the two eyes have a large anisometropia, after a period of time, strabismus will also appear.
1. Methods and steps

2. Precautions
(1) Before treatment, the cause of amblyopia should be clarified, whether it is caused by simple vision weakness or other diseases, such as intracranial compressive lesions.
(2) Most of the patients with this disease are young patients, and the treatment should be gentle and gentle, and should not be too heavy.
(3) For the treatment of this disease, it is necessary to adhere to the course of treatment, 5~10 times for 1 course of treatment.
(4) At the same time of treatment, some dietary health care can be carried out, such as eating a small amount of liver-nourishing things such as the liver of some animals and some spinach, jujube and other blood-nourishing products.
