(1) Heel pain

Heel pain is mainly caused by chronic strain and is often accompanied by a bone spur at the anterior edge of the calcaneal tuberosity. Heel pain is more common in middle-aged and elderly people aged 40~60 years old, with a slow onset, mostly on one side, and a history of several months or years. The pain is worse when standing after waking up in the morning, and the pain is relieved after walking for a while, but the pain is worse after walking for too long, and it is not red or swollen, and there is tenderness at the calcaneal tuberosity of the metatarsal surface of the calcaneus.

X-rays can help with the diagnosis, but the clinical presentation is often inconsistent with x-ray signs, and bone spurs may be asymptomatic in patients with bone spurs and asymptomatic in patients without bone spurs.
