Archeotech

Ancient technology is the term used to refer to the ancient technology products found in the nest capital, the richest ancient technology deposits only exist in those abandoned halls, but in the wreckage of each layer of the nest can be found in all kinds of ancient machines, the value of ancient technology varies according to its nature, for example, the same sex crystal fuel rod can be sold for a good price, and an old old machine can only be sold as scrap metal. Examples of ancient technology

Observer: A portable device that allows the user to observe different locations, and the user can zoom in on the screen display to clearly see any point in the scene, as if they were hiding behind a door or wall in the scene.

Cutting Beam: A large device that focuses and produces enough light to cut through the densest building materials, it cannot be used as a weapon due to its large size and the intensity of the focus of the beam could have any consequences.

Lifter: A device that alters the gravity of a local area, allowing the user to slowly float up to the highest lot or gently descend from a height.

Holographic Imager: This device generates a holographic image that is strikingly similar to the user, allowing the user to hide from a short distance to attract enemy fire.

Bio-Booster

The biobooster is a common technique often used by gangs in the nest, and its appearance is a belt-shaped device that wraps around the user's wrist or other similar position almost like a bracelet, it is completely controlled by its owner's body system, and relies on its pre-programmed parameters to operate, when the built-in biosensor detects that the human body is affected by an external shock, the biopressur will automatically inject a chemical pressurizer into the victim to disperse the impact.

Bio-Scanner

A bioscanner is a small device that allows the user to detect signs of nearby organisms. It is the size of a pistol and is usually pinned to a belt or dangled back and forth around its neck. It can detect each other in low visibility or when an intruder is hidden.

BladeVenom

A deadly poison distilled from the many mutant bacteria at the base of the hive, these fungi include the Widowmaker, Scarlet Old Feng, Grey Crystal, and the most coveted Black Death, which produces a coating on its surface that kills all creatures that come into contact with it, while Black Death continues to grow from the remains of the victims, drawing nourishment and luring the Rotten Eaters to eat the corpses to lure more victims.

It is often used by the Rat Skin to kill dangerous behemoths and mutants that cannot be eliminated by ordinary means, and at the hands of outlaws who try to take the initiative in battle, it is distilled into a viscous purple and carefully quenched over the blade, however, it is not without the clumsy fighter who accidentally cuts himself or his comrades with these quenched weapons.

Clip-Harness

In the shattered ruins of the lower levels of Neklomunda's Nest, even the most mundane journeys can prove to be dangerous, often with travelers having to traverse narrow passages surrounded by unexpected rockfalls, or climb over old materials that crumble into dust at the slightest touch. Many nesters will improvise some safety equipment to avoid unpleasant consequences for themselves. In the constant battles of the lower gangs, one of the most common of these devices is obviously a clamp, and for gang members who don't want to die in a disgusting and non-honorable way, there's nothing more appropriate than using a metal clip or magnet to attach a body-wrapped safety rope to some support.

ConcealedBlade

The Empire's criminal organizations are well aware of the importance of staying away from the authorities, and there are plenty of clever ways to hide blades from the flounders of the searchers for those who aren't quick enough or lucky enough to be captured. These include hidden compartments in the heel of the shoe, biological compartments implanted under the skin, and so on.

FilterPlugs

In the lower and lower levels of Necromunda's nest, the air is often filled with toxic clouds, pollutants, or the ubiquitous smoke of the nest, and millions of people use filter nasal congestion to combat these hazards. It's a small device that can be tightly stuffed into the nostrils by the Nest Guys, it can filter out the worst air pollution, and it has some defense against even chemical weapons.

Grav-chute

A gravity parachute is a backpack-sized suspension that allows commandos to safely float to the ground at any height, and is equipped with an anti-gravity device and two small jets that hang over the sides of the shoulders for an additional fall braking mechanism. It is mainly used by commandos to enter the battlefield, either from aircraft or from outside the atmosphere. It can also be used by the user to hover in the air for up to one minute at a time to select a suitable landing site, if desired. It's actually a smaller version of the Jumping Pack, but unlike the Jumping Pack, it's designed for controlled descent rather than providing momentum for jumping into the air. Its power system can last up to an hour after each charge. The most common use of the Gravity Umbrella are the Empire's Storm Commandos and Airborne Combat Regiments, like those from Asilia and Haraken.

Grapnel

The massive dome of Neklomunda's nest is filled with towers, and any favorable conditions that would make it easier for gang members to occupy the high ground proved to be significant for a solid victory. The anchor hook consists of a compact emitter that emits a magnetic grappling hook attached to a long line that attaches to any metal surface. And in some cases, it has not been uncommon for desperate gangs to use it as a weapon.

HotshotLaserPowerPack

The Rapid-Fire Laser Energy Pack is a powerful version of the standard laser weapon, which is more compact and stable, but correspondingly more expensive, and its amplified energy array can release more energy from any laser weapon to multiply its attack power. The downside is a greater chance of overheating and a more easily depleted amount of energy.

Infrared eyepieces and sights (Infra-RedSightsandGoggles)

Infrared eyepieces and sights cover a wide range of equipment and can provide a gain field of view to the user by detecting and displaying thermal energy.

Infrared sight: This device is usually mounted on top of a weapon and allows the shooter to locate the target not only through human heat, but also in low visibility or even in complete darkness.

Infrared Eyepieces: Usually the appearance of goggles, they operate on the same principle as an infrared sight and allow the user to gather more battlefield intelligence, but it provides little to no gain in shooting enemies.

Isotropic FuelRods

Isotropic fuel rods are the basic source of energy for the lower nests, and are mainly made in the nest cities, sometimes from recycled Archeotech, and can power almost everything, from water stills and air pumps to generators, any of which can create an entire habitation outside of the wasteland.

Kalma

Carhemp is a general term for a class of pleasant tranquilizers produced in Necromunda's lower nest, which dilute the user's state of consciousness while enhancing their sense of satisfaction. Unfortunately for the user, the drug also makes them docile and submissive, and they will be happy to be led around, or even reluctant to be let go, which is very dangerous in the harsh environment of the nest. Based on this function, bandits often used the drug on hostages so that they no longer had to worry about the captives trying to escape.

LobotomyChip

The device was designed to slash out the receptor's violent behavior and emotional outbursts in a way that anesthetized the brain, and among Necromunda's gang, slices of the brain were often used on members who had been injured in battle and had become too out of control even for the lower nest.

MonoSight

A monocular sight is a complex sighting element that is worn on one of the user's eyes and matched to the sighting device of their weapon by means of an energy link. It provides a magnified image of the target, and overlapping sightlines allow the user to accurately see the point of impact. Its extremely high resolution means that even the slightest movement can seriously interfere with the target's lock-on, so the artificial advantage of using a monocular scope must remain fixed. It is also true that it is most commonly installed on heavy weapons, although it is not without small firearms equipped with it.

Mung Bean Vase

The mung bean bottle ornament is an extremely rare ancient technology, the mung bean bottle ornament found in Necromunda has a high value among the collectors of the noble families of the upper nest, and the original sample can sell for millions of dollars, but for every mung bean bottle ornament appears, a thousand fakes are made in the settlements of the lower nest capital.

RadCounter

Residents of environments where they may be exposed to dangerous levels of radiation on a regular basis often use radiation counters, which appear to be small in size and are often designed to be worn in the form of jewelry like amulets and bracelets. It is capable of warning the wearer of dangerous levels of radiation that are invisible to the naked eye, often by clicking an audible alarm, discoloration, flashing lights, or any method often used by alarm devices. A warrior equipped with a radiation counter can safely traverse treacherous battlefields and even lure their enemies into the radiation zone.

SecondBest

As an alcoholic beverage brewed in the lower nests, the second best is very well named, although some argue that it is far more than second on their hobbies list. For those with a shriveled wallet, the second best is a cheaper option than expensive wild snake wine.

The second best is brewed by the boldest ideas in the Hive Capital from the leftovers that can no longer be used for other purposes, including leftovers that stink too much to even feed the slaves of the pit, useless rat skins, and disgusting household garbage to think about. All of this and more garbage is used to make the second best that is so strong that you don't even have time to worry about what's in it, and you may not even remember what you've drunk afterwards.

Onslaught

Onslaught is a combat potion in the Empire that is used to boost willpower, increase reaction speed, or literally speed up the user, and continued use of it can cause exhaustion and even damage to the nervous system.

Spook

Spectre is an extremely addictive and heavily illegal psionic drug from Neklomunda, made from decaying synthetic foods found in the lower layers of the hive.

The Ghost is made from the oldest synthetic food scraps ever found in Necromunda, the putrefactive synthetic food deposits that are nothing more than horrible green residues that contain a large percentage of recycled human protein that has interacted with mutant fungi for thousands of years, and perhaps it is the human matter contained that has caused its dramatic effects on human psionic energy.

The Ghost will bloom in liquid form, the ultimate magic potion. When taken in small amounts, it awakens the user's psionic energy. Taking large amounts will open a channel connecting the human body to his soul in subspace. If an individual has a strong soul, it will be sucked into his physical body. If the individual's soul is weak, all supernatural energy will be immediately sucked out and dissipated into the void. Because of this, the Ghost is an extremely dangerous item, and its use has been vigorously suppressed by the Empire.

In societies that live in the world, people are often committed to finding everything they can find, and when someone stumbles upon these unusual green deposits that would make them rich, they will use all means to exploit it. In the process of exploring it, out of ignorance of the dangers of souls and humans becoming psykers, ghosts are often treated as just another substance worthy of recycling and reuse for profit.

Hive City always had a large demand for medicine, mainly to supplement the diet and avoid diseases, and as the ghost became popular among the nobles who indulged in its unique effects, it began to slowly infiltrate the entire Hive society.

Naturally, the drug-addicted aristocratic families used this method to preserve their trade secrets and continue to get rich. Lord Necromunda's own family, capable of organizing the interplanetary ghost trade, is also involved in the medicine business, which requires skillful use of smugglers as the Imperial fleet controls all legal trade in the universe.

No one knows or can predict where to find the ghost-making sediments, but once one of these sites is discovered, the "right people" will be informed and mining and processing will begin. Only those trusted nobles who had close ties to the ruling dynasty were granted charters for mining.

Scavengers can also stumble upon eroded ghost deposits as they dig tunnels and trade them. A small percentage of these wild ghosts are sold in their nests and shantytowns, and Imperial agents trying to find their source will often end up tracking down the scavenger ghost and losing their main target. Because the scavenger ghost really has nothing to do with the nobles of the nest.

The growth of the ghost trade has been the largest single factor in the growth of the cult that has grown by a hidden cult that lurks in many hives, and whose followers need a constant supply of this psionic enhancement drug, and the immortals among them in particular need large numbers of ghosts for their rituals. It is likely that most of the drug-taking lords who rule these forbidden cities have joined this sect.

Ghosts can easily spread in the hands of all sorts of Underground Order, scavengers, and rogues. Because as long as there is money to be made, they will not have any doubts.

Spurs (SPUR)

Spurs is a collective term for a wide range of performance-enhancing drugs, which are mainly produced in Necromunda's lower nests, due to their wide range of side effects, and Spurs are less popular than other options such as Onslaught and Spectre. And because no two batches of spurs are the same, there is no way for drug users to decide how many doses they should take each time based on the level of side effects they can tolerate.

benefit

All spurs are highly stimulating stimulants to the nervous system, which can increase the range and precision of perception of all senses, shorten muscle reaction time and even speed up thinking.

side effect

As mentioned earlier, spurs are known for their ability to induce side effects, and here are a few of them:

1. The nervous system of the receptor is in a state of high euphoria, which can make them invulnerable warriors, they are able to avoid bullets and shoot incredibly. Unfortunately, the short-lived King's Landing came in exchange for a quick and prolonged physical disability, as their bodies were forcibly shut down in order to recover from those few minutes of hilarious experience.

2. The speed of the receptors' reactions is enhanced, but their senses are also sensitive to the point that they will suddenly go into shock (even if it is a small thing like a comrade coming from behind or tapping you on the shoulder) - their overloaded nervous system makes them unconscious.

StingerMould

Cocktail mold is a rare fungus found in the lower nests of Necromunda and is famous among doctors and surgeons for its healing and regenerative properties, which makes it extremely valuable. In some regions it was even harvested like a crop for use by the noble families of the Hive, and was even exported to other worlds.

Cocktail mould is only found in wasteland where organic and radioactive waste are mixed and also needs the right temperature to grow, and it only takes a few hours for it to bloom and spray aptly named spore with spikes into the vents, where once flowering, the mold quickly withers and dies.

However, if the mold can be harvested before it blooms, its spores can be processed into ointments or compresses that, when applied to the most horrific wounds, can greatly enhance the healing power of the wounded body.

JakaraMirrorShield

Among the noble children who were sent to hunt in the lower nest to prove themselves, the Jekara Hunter set combines the most unique, advanced, and expensive pieces of equipment, the most unique of which is the Mirror Shield.

This "shield" wraps around the user's forearm and is equipped with a force field generator, and is not equipped to deflect or defend against incoming fire. A vortex of resonant energy around the shield absorbs the incoming energy and feeds it into some energy storage device around the wrist, which is immediately focused into the fuel tank at the front of the shield, accompanied by a burst of blazing lightning that reflects the energy back to the attacker.

Yeldwings

The most bizarre of the Yod-type Hunter suits features an impressive pair of wings that overlap with hundreds of metal shields and are linked by thousands of tiny optical fiber bundles that automatically record and transmit the user's brainwaves through the cerebral cortex to these optical fiber bundles, allowing them to fine-tune on the fly for jolting, rolling, and yaw during combat. The user needs little training to use the wings as much as they want, and even a beginner can glide more easily than a bird of prey, yet the process of crawling to high altitudes is a slow chore even for veterans of yode.

The individual guards that make up the wings can also be decorated with circuit crystals that automatically adjust to match the surrounding background color. In this way, the Yod can blend into the backdrop of the towers and platforms where they are lurking, waiting for unprepared prey.

WildSnake

An extremely strong alcoholic beverage brewed in the Neklomonda Lower Nest. It is fed into the bazaars of the Lower Nest settlement, or even the palatial mansions of the Upper Nest. Gangs that are lucky enough to buy the Serpent will often rush to get their hands on it regardless of the price, so that they can drink it up before the battle to give themselves the advantage of "snake guts".

Wild snakes are brewed from the skins of snakes caught from all over the lower nest. And in order to prove the quality of each bottle of wine, often the kind of snake it is made of, a sample will be soaked in the bottle accordingly. This wine has a spicy taste and a bit of bitterness due to the venom of the brewing material.

And for those bandits and nest civilians who are too tight to buy wild snakes, they can only be satisfied with the "second best".

Nest materials, equipment, and weapons

Blunderbuss

Also known as a bird, it is a general term for a weapon in which one or more short barrels are tied to a sturdy wooden pole with a leather rope. Each barrel contains a powder bag at the bottom, and other items that can cause damage, such as scraps of metal, stones, and bones, are added to the top to reach the muzzle. When such a weapon is fired, its "ammunition" pours out into a wide frontal in the hope that there will always be one or two pieces that will hit the intended target somewhere. Outside primitive societies, such a crude, inefficient, and dangerous (often for the user) weapon can only be found in the hands of the poorest and most desperate members of society. This weapon is often used by members of criminal gangs, such as the Rat Skins, renegades and scavenger gangs of the lower nests of Neklomunda.

BoltLaunchers

An explosive launcher is a small barrel apparatus that fires miniature rocket-propelled explosive ordnance, and they can deliver a single shot or a devastating salvo, depending on the craftsmanship of the fire control mechanism. The devastating Power Punch of the Hunters of Arus in Necromunda is equipped with a blast launcher on the back to combine their advantage in brutal melee combat with devastating ranged firepower.

PitSlaveBuzzSaw

Not to be confused with the Orc Daring Do's circular saw, a disc with sharp steel teeth that rotates at high speed to maximize its cutting power, it is often grafted onto the pit slaves of the Hive to shred large chunks of ore into small pieces that can be used in their work. More dastardly merchants would mount it on the bodies of slave gladiators for them to fully display their brutal killing skills in the arena, which was the most delightful place to come in a hive world like Necromunda.

Chainsaw

It had a wide range of uses in a wide variety of jobs across all social classes, and it was also a popular weapon option for slave gladiators in deathmatches in Neklomunda and many illegal areas of the Empire. Usually it would be grafted on the stump of one arm, and for a slave leader like Gurg the bull, it would be grafted onto the stump of both arms. And the famous slave gladiator Hagan **** replaced his jaw with a chainsaw.

Claw

The claw pliers are a primitive biomimetic tool, also known as the "big claw hook" because of the mining and loading jobs that the user usually does, and is mounted on the stump of a slave in a deep pit. While slave gladiators in deathmatch were given more effective weapons, it was not uncommon for fugitive slaves to wear claw pincers, often using the prosthetic leg to lift their opponents and throw them on their own heads when they fought alongside the Nest Gang.

Eviscerator

(Editor: It's the large butcher saw used by the nuns of atonement, there has been a similar translation before, so I won't translate it here if I'm lazy.)

Suffice it to know that Redeemers often like to use this weapon. )

Nest materials, equipment, and weapons

Eradicator

The Eradicator is a small flamethrower that is rarely used alone, and can only support one shot when unloaded, so it is often integrated with other weapons to increase the user's firepower, or to provide an extra range of firepower against an opponent using melee weapons, rather than carrying an extra one to increase the load. It is mainly integrated into automatic guns, blasters, ******, laser guns, or ripper-chainsaws (a hybrid of the two often found in the hands of the Redeemers), and the Redeemers throughout the Empire often pay special attention to the Eradicators, as they fight more with passion than precision, and the use of weapons that can only shoot once ensures that they do not cause too much damage to themselves and their brethren.

Hammer

As a weapon, the chain ball is in fact only effective if it is attached to a living person and mechanically driven, and the guilds of the Hive often mount it on pit slaves who work in mines and factories. And when these slaves escape and join the outlaw gangs of the nest, they will be able to use this weapon to exert its devastating effect. This pneumatic steel has an undeniable drive that allows it to break through the defenses of even the most experienced gangsters and knock them unconscious to the ground.

Handbow

Despite being made of modern materials and techniques, the crossbow was still a primitive weapon, a smaller, single-wielding version of the crossbow, which was in fact a pistol, and was undoubtedly as powerful as a larger crossbow thanks to the built-in servo system and other technology. Although it can shoot with one hand, it takes longer to reload and cannot be reloaded while moving.

The ratskin tribe of Neklomunda has a reputation for crafting low-tech weapons.

LaserGauntlets

The Laser Gauntlet is a multi-pack weapon with a laser emitting tube mounted that unleashes a rainstorm of light over the wielder's hand at a considerable distance. Powered by a boosted power, it continuously fires enough lasers to pierce enemy armor.

Yod-type Hunter sets are often equipped with laser gauntlets.

MonomolecularSword

Made from an extremely active crystalline structure in which the tiniest particles of this structure constantly renew themselves so that their sharp blades never dull, the Monomolecular Sword is a masterpiece of molecular engineering capable of slicing through the enemy's strongest armor.

Single-molecule swords are often integrated into the Jecora-type Hunter set.

Nest materials, equipment, and weapons

Musket

Smoothbore guns were primitive firearms that relied on explosive gunpowder and crude firing devices to fire lead projectiles, which were slow, inaccurate, and unreliable, and were only used on those backward planets. And only the planetary defense forces of the feudal world would equip it. However, they are easy to manufacture and maintain, so they are common among the scavengers and ratskin people who nest in Neklomunda.

ScatterCannon

A weapon unique to Neklomunda's scales, it is an enlarged version of the Ornithium or a ****** with a large barrel and a fist-thick caliber, which uses more shrapnel and explosive charges to greatly increase its lethality in the narrow terrain of the lower nest. The Scaly People are the only nest dwellers who have the strength to withstand the powerful recoil of this primitive weapon.

Big Scissors (Shears)

It was one of the "fortifications" of pit slaves engaged in mushroom harvesting and scrap metal recycling, and the gangs that hired these fugitives quickly discovered their usefulness, using large scissors to easily cut off the limbs of their enemies, including the occasional head.

Speargun

Neklomunda's Shuttle Dart Gun is primarily used by the Scalemen, a large, brutal weapon that revolves around powerful springs removed from the Ancient Machines of the Lower Nest. When loading, the Scalers pulled the spring with their savage force enough to stuff a pike or harpoon into the barrel, and the pike gun was able to shoot it out with great force, in fact, even at a great distance, it was enough to pierce the enemy's body and then penetrate another enemy behind him.

Toxbomb

The biological weapon of the Lower Nest, the Poison Bomb is essentially made of a sealed container filled with the most horrific poisonous wastewater that scavengers can find in the Badlands of the Lower Nest. When thrown, the deadly contents of the broken container will splash into a small area, forming a suffocating cloud of poison and leaving a puddle filled with corrosive liquid.

WebSpinners

The webweaver shoots a thin thread as thin as spider's silk, which then hardens into a steel thread. The Webweaver is an ideal weapon to trap an opponent like a lamb to the slaughter. It is integrated into the Malcaton Type Hunter Set, and is designed to capture unwary outlaws and place them under the vicious claws of the Malcaton Set. The Lord of Malcaton also specializes in using the Webweaver during difficult climbs and descents in the lower nest.
