Chapter 372: Savor it slowly
Lu Dongbin took a sip of the tea made by Xiao Tianshu, and said with a smile: "Hehe, apprentice, yes, it seems that there are people from the previous life, and I will understand it as soon as I talk about it!" ”
Xiao Tianshu smiled: "Master, what you said is not right, there are still things that the apprentice doesn't understand, and what he said just now is not very clear......
Lu Dongbin said with a smile: "Let's take it slowly, but the scene of the three flowers gathering at the top": meditation has reached the stage of refining into qi. The smoothness of the eight veins of the Qi Sutra, as mentioned in the past, has been verified step by step. From then on, I gradually reached the feeling of forgetting the body, and the body was soft and soft like a baby, very comfortable and appropriate, if I survived. At this point, the only thing that remains to feel is the reaction of the mind. If you settle down gradually, your eyes will reflect back......"
Xiao Tianshu said: "Master Zu, what I said, I didn't feel what kind of feeling it is, can you tell me what kind of person this feeling is, when I succeed in cultivation, I can also feel it......"
In this way, when the time comes, even if you succeed in your cultivation, you will be able to distinguish between what is true and what is crazy.
Lu Dongbin said with a smile: "At this point, you will suddenly enter the realm of complete selflessness, only the "Mud Palace" and "Baihui Acupoint" part above your head, it feels like the opening of the skylight, like the transmission of sunlight, and suddenly opens up and presents an incomparably cool feeling. It is like a breath of pure emptiness that descends and spreads throughout the body. The so-called "Daigo empowerment" in the Taoist Dan Sutra describes this realm ......"
He also said: "However, to this extent, the most feared thing is that the theory is not clear, the concept is not clear, if there is the slightest illusion in the heart, or if there is a strong religious consciousness in the subconscious, it may be out of the body; If combined with other hallucinations; There are many similar mystical scenes. All these situations must be swept away one by one, and only then can we get to the end without falling into the footsteps. ”
The scene of "Five Qi Dynasty Yuan": Due to the above-mentioned "Three Flowers Gathering Top" scene, or at the same time, or after a short rest, suddenly feel that the breath of breath naturally stops completely, the whole body is soft, not by the acquired breath and warm and comfortable, usually the so-called inner breathing (the breath of the dantian also naturally stopped at this time. It's just that after a long time, I occasionally need to take an extremely slight breath. At this time, it is like in the scene of the wind and the sun, the breeze does not move, the water waves are not rising, the body and mind inside and outside, the characters of heaven and earth, all of them are not content with the position of "neutralization", let alone the existence of the self or the existence of the selfless body, these ordinary feelings and thoughts are all naturally gone without a trace.
Xiao Tianshu said: "Oh, so that's ......"
Lu Dongbin said: "If the actual work of meditation or monasticism can really achieve the situation of "three flowers gathering at the top" and "five qi dynasty yuan" as mentioned above. Then, the basic work of refining and refining gas can be said to have come to an end. However, this kind of foundation cannot be stopped occasionally, it must be "profitable and protective", it is always like this, and those who can be free to be the masters must be so that it counts. If, in the course of meditation, you have a similar experience by chance, when a blind cat bumps into a dead mouse, and you never see each other again, then it is not true. But from then on, if you want to enter the realm of "refining qi and transforming gods", you must combine it with the concept of "Tao", and it is not only within the scope of meditation......
Xiao Tianshu said: "The apprentice still has something unclear, what about Buddhism...... When the Wei and Jin dynasties, Buddhism was introduced and the cause of translating Buddhist scriptures has carried out its surging momentum, and the famous Buddhist scholars in the Western Regions, such as Zhi Qian, Zhi Liang, Zhi Dun and others, stayed in China, and the Wei and Jin dynasties of the domestic celebrities, have close contacts, learn from each other, and also have mutual benefit. Even in the notes of the Six Dynasties "The New Language of the World", we can also see it......"
Xiao Tianshu also said: "It is a very common fact that famous Buddhist monks in China, such as Dao'an and Seng Zhao, are deeply familiar with Chinese culture such as "Sanxuan", and even enter Buddhism with the help of Taoist noun concepts. Master Huiyuan, who founded the Pure Land Sect in Lushan at the beginning, originally practiced Taoism, and later served Buddhism, creating the method of reincarnating the Buddha in the Pure Land of Bliss in the West, which is very similar to the Taoist method of perching on the gods and refining the gods. ……”
Famous monks from the Western Regions such as Kumarosh, for the old and Zhuang Zhixue, especially familiar, so the translation of Buddhist scriptures, quoting "Tao", "merit", "layman", "sentient beings" and other terms, such as a number of treasures, are also the use of Confucianism and Taoism are not separated from the Taoist language, this in the exchange of Chinese and Indian cultural thoughts, the harmony of Buddhism and Taoism, has naturally embarked on the road of integration.
As for the method of cultivation, the Buddhist study of meditation and the Taoist practice of Neidan are completely similar in basic form to the root of the practice of meditation and recuperation. The Buddhist concept of ordination is also very similar to the Taoist concept of the hermit. The Buddhist mantras, mudras and Taoist talisman spells have many things in common, so the orthodox Taoist Neidan cultivation method of later generations integrates meditation, yoga, and Dan Dao, so that the seeds can be planted deeply at this time.
Lu Dongbin said with a smile: "From what the apprentice just said, we can get a brief glimpse of the Taoist atmosphere of Wei and Jin, which evolved from the end of the Han Dynasty and actively tended to form the route of Taoism as a religion, which can be summarized into two reasons: ......"
There are people everywhere in the decay of the world, political instability, frequent wars, the situation of separatism of local forces, and those who rely on the popular scholar groups to protect themselves. Wise people, such as Xu Jingyang, Huiyuan, and others, in view of the behavior of the Yellow Turbans and Zhang Jiao, but took the ideas and methods of religion as the edification of avoiding the land and protecting the territory and the people, and naturally formed a force of common faith. At the same time, the Wudou Rice Dao created by the descendants of Zhang Daoling and Zhang Lu has gradually become a historical organization, and gradually merged with various Taoist schools to form the specific force of Taoism in the future, which is also an inevitable result.
The introduction of Buddhist thought has made people of insight more interested in faith research for the supernatural theory of immortals and Taoists. And in view of the fact that the teachings and methods of cultivation of Buddhism are systematic and theoretically based, the discussion of the Xuan and the cultivation of the Dan method has gradually sought to be purified and tended to have a theoretical basis and a systematic approach, such as Ge Hong's compilation of the Dan Tao and his book "Hug Puzi". He is like Uncle Ji who wrote "The Theory of Health Maintenance" at night, which was used as a material for later generations of Taoist priests to learn from the gods. Hui Yuan's "Theory of the Immortality of Gods" later influenced Shen Yue's works "Theory of Form and God" and "Theory of the Immortality of Gods" in the Southern Dynasty, and was also used by later Taoists as the basis for the theory of immortals.
In short, Chinese culture, from ancient times to the Zhou and Qin dynasties, began with Confucianism and Taoism. Then the academic division of the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period made the Taoism and Fangshi stand out. From the end of the Han Dynasty and the Three Kingdoms to the Wei and Jin dynasties, the transformation of the immortals gradually formed the Taoism that expanded during the Northern Wei Dynasty, and in terms of political status, it officially competed with Buddhism for religious rights. As a result of the above brief quotation, an overview of the situation can be roughly seen.
