Daomen pays attention to simplifying the complex, and the simplest is "nothing". Through the mouth of Taishang Laojun, people are familiar with the Taoist idea of "non-action", and advocate that in daily life, we should have less selfishness and few desires, and abandon wisdom and sage.

If you want to achieve this artistic conception of "non-action", you must eventually cultivate through the idea of "being", which is called cultivating the truth through falsehood.

The core idea of Daomen originates from the phrase "man is the law of the earth, the earth is the law of the sky, the heaven is the law of the Tao, and the Tao is the law of nature", and its center is aimed at "the Tao is the law of nature".

Therefore, Taishang Laojun emphasized that everyone should conform to nature in life, not too deliberately, and specifically do "go to the extreme, go to luxury, and go to Thailand".

To achieve this step, we must imitate the way of heaven and earth, and understand the principle of dealing with people and things from the laws of the operation of all things in nature.

Taishang Laojun also said: "The way of heaven is beneficial but not harmful, and the way of man is not to fight", "The husband is the only one who does not fight, so the world cannot fight with it."

Therefore, Taishang Laojun talks about inaction and nature, and its specific application law is "indisputable". If you have a more peaceful and tolerant attitude, do not fight with others or yourself, and can see all the encounters in life as an experience, and can be at ease with all unsatisfactory situations, then this person can be said to be a person who has attained the Tao.

Because he has found the most natural state of life in his life, he will not distort his will for the sake of the world, nor will he be full of resentment towards the world because of his own obsessions.

A truly virtuous person must be a peaceful person.

In order to accurately describe the state of a Taoist person, Taishang Laojun made a metaphor for it with water. He said: "The good is like water, the water is good for all things without fighting, and it is evil for everyone, so it is more than the Tao." The reason why water can "benefit all things without fighting" is that it can be dealt with without fighting.

In the face of complicated encounters along the way, the water never changes its final direction due to the barrier of the mountains, nor does it change the color of its heart because of the dyeing along the way.

In the Taoist doctrine, water is the most good and soft thing. The water is dense and dense, the small is silent, the huge is turbulent, and there is no dispute with people but it accommodates all things.

Water has the virtue of nourishing all things, and it enables all things to get its benefits, without contradicting or conflicting with all things. And the way of life is nothing more than this.

Taishang Laojun believes that the supreme character should be like water, and Ze is surrounded by all things without fighting for fame and fortune. Do not see with the world in general, do not compete with the world for a while, so that the softest but can accommodate the world's mind and bearing.

The premise of maintaining this mind is that "tranquility is the right thing for the world". The way of tranquility is the way of nature.

People are accustomed to using the phrase "pampering and not being frightened, leaving unintentional" to describe the unwavering attitude of a saint in the face of the glory and wealth of the world.

Taishang Laojun said that "the heart is empty, and the belly is real", which is to warn people to constantly empty their hearts of prejudices about others and the world, and to reflect on themselves with a clean heart, so as to achieve the great realm of "people can always be quiet, and heaven and earth are all returned".

If we can practice ourselves in the above order, we can help people to transcend the red dust and realize the process of moving from being to nothing.

But the "non-action" that the Taoist Gate talks about is not only nothing, but also nothing.

Because the clear mind desires to achieve nothing, this itself is also existence, which is the embodiment of desire.

Only when non-nothingness is realized, that is, it is no longer necessary to actively rest and cleanse one's mind, but all the virtues such as indisputability and tranquility are a natural expression of the emotions.

When too much artificiality and deliberateness are stripped away, what is left in the end is to return to the innocence of simplicity.

Taishang Laojun told people again and again that they should learn the state of babies, because all their actions are natural, there is no confrontation between fame and fortune, and there is no ingenuity to make the heart.

Only by doing this step can we understand the meaning of water virtue. The reason why it is "good for all things without fighting" is that all things cannot compete with it, and there is nothing to fight with all things.

The heart is indifferent, everything is the smoke of the past.
