Chapter 168: The Future Direction
March's loud voice caught the attention of many young wizards in the auditorium. They looked at the elderly examiners in awe.
Many of the sixth and seventh graders knew them, especially the wrinkled face of the elderly March's class.
"It's her again, Lady Marchban, and I've heard that she's ever been a proctor."
"It's this group every time."
William Wallace, who has been dealing with magical beasts all his life, is a little uncomfortable with the burning gaze of the little wizard, which makes him feel like a magical beast being exhibited.
"Are these little wizards so anxious to know their fate?" Wallace ducked behind Calvin, not wanting to be watched any longer.
Calvin smiled and said, "Poor children, they have no idea if you are bringing fate or judgment."
The waiting days for exams are undoubtedly long, especially for fifth and seventh graders, but Calvin has done everything he can and it will be up to the students to perform.
At half past nine the next morning, the wizard rank exam began.
The originally large auditorium was converted into an examination room, and the palace wizards conducted written exams, and several small rooms near the auditorium were cleared out to serve as examination rooms for practical exams.
The written test and the practice are each half a day, and this lasts for two weeks.
Calvin also took the time to take a look outside the door, of course it was inconvenient for him to enter, and in addition to the rustle of quills writing in the entire examination room, there was only the sound of sand dripping in a giant funnel.
"It's nostalgic." Calvin sighed in his heart, and then went to announce the results to the third-year little wizards.
Many young wizards in the classroom were looking forward to it, but the sharp-eyed students found that Professor Capet was not holding parchment in his hand, which made many scumbags feel lucky.
But Calvin, who had just walked into the classroom, shattered that dream by pulling out a wad of parchment from his sleeve.
"Exam results will be announced today."
Not to mention the scumbags, even the top students like Cedric and Roger are extremely nervous.
"10 excellent, 27 good. Except for 8 people, all the others are qualified." Calvin gave the overall picture with a blank face, "It is especially commendable that Mr. Diggory got a perfect score on the exam."
Calvin then lifted the parchment in his hand, and each paper found their owner with precision.
"Congratulations." Calvin took the lead in applauding, and the young wizards below also applauded, exchanging heads and beaming with joy.
"This class will talk about test papers, and the next class will take you to the reserve at the end."
-----------------
During the weekend of the Wizard Rank Exam, Calvin resumed his personal instruction and began to teach the young wizards.
Harry's final exam results were pretty good. Several courses got good grades, Defence Against the Dark Arts even got an excellent, and only the History of Magic got a pass.
His good brother Ron is similar, the difference is that Ron gets an excellent subject in Transfiguration instead of Defence Against the Dark Arts.
As for Hermione...... Harry felt that she couldn't do anything other than seven distinctions, and that was the case.
When the three of them, along with Neville and Malfoy, arrive at Professor Capet's office, they meet the Cedric and Weasley twins, who have also come to see Professor Capet. ….
Calvin looked at the eight people standing in the doorway and patted his head, "Oh, I forgot to tell you to stagger the time. Forget it, let's come in together. The first-year wizards went to sit on the couch first. Amor, prepare them a glass of orange juice."
Harry and the others sat obediently on the couch while staring curiously at the three Cedrics.
Calvin stretched out his right hand to the three people standing, "What do I want, who will show me first?"
George and Fred looked at each other and took a step back.
Calvin looked at Cedric, who took the initiative to step forward, and said, "Very well, Mr. Diggory, you are more timid than those two
The devil has a lot more courage."
Cedric was a little helpless, glanced back at his twins, and then handed out the large picture scroll in his hand.
Calvin didn't open it after taking it, but weighed it slightly, "It's not light, is the painting that big?"
"I'm drawing this for the first time, and I don't have much experience." Cedric bowed his head in shame.
"It's okay, it's okay, I'm not trying to criticize you," Calvin returned the scroll to Cedric, turned around and flicked his wand, and a paper figure appeared in the office, about ten yards away from Calvin, "Try the power."
Cedric nodded, took the scroll, faced the paper target, and unfolded the magic painting in his hand.
The magic painting was about a man tall, and Cedric had to fully stretch his hands to open it completely. Then everyone in the office saw a red light fly out of the painting, hitting the paper figure with precision, blasting it into debris.
Many people in the office were shocked by this scene, a magic painting could actually release a spell.
"Incredible." Hermione whispered, she had never seen this in a book.
"Not bad," Calvin nodded in satisfaction, then looked at Cedric's unfolded scroll, "I said, you drew the entire spell-casting wizard, no wonder it's so big."
Harry also looked at the painting in Cedric's hand from the place where he had been a paper man, and it showed a handsome young wizard holding a wand and casting a spell with a determined expression.
Cedric scratched his head, "I'll improve later."
Calvin nodded, then looked at the twins, "Where's your stuff?"
The two of them smiled, and each took out two palm-sized square crystal pieces from their pockets and placed them on Calvin's table.
"That's it, Professor, we've exceeded your goal by enabling the four communicators to communicate with each other."
Ron whispered to Harry beside him, "So they've been busy with this lately, and I'm still weird, that professor is so inhumane, and he still gives homework after the exam."
The twins each picked up a piece of crystal and began to operate, "Let's call it the Communication Crystal."
"Because it communicates, and it's crystal."
George kept dotting on it, "If I want to send a message to Fred, I just have to spell a 'two' on it, and Fred's piece will be piping hot."
"That's it," Fred held up the communication crystal in his hand, he almost burned it literally, "I saw a 'one, and I knew George was this guy's coming to harass me.'"
"We've plated a layer of mythril on the back of the communication crystal, which is used to make the alchemy core, which perfectly synchronizes all the changes on the other end."
Calvin glanced at the four communication crystals and asked, "What about another?" What about the alchemical works that store the information of these crystals?".
