Epigraph Believe in science
Those who "cross" from this shore and the other shore. Buddhism uses this shore as a metaphor for the cycle of life and death, and the other shore as a metaphor for the holy land of Nirvana.
All people are in life and death, so they are all on this shore; And the enlightened ones have crossed the river of afflictions from this shore to the other side.
From this shore to the other shore, it is a person's lifelong cultivation. But people with depression are not included because they are not in the human world.
It is no exaggeration to say that people with depression live in a glass enclosure, and the outside world, real, transparent, and visible, is isolated.
For them,
"Passing through" is not only a religious feeling, but also has a real meaning of salvation - returning from hell to the world.
Therefore, the title of this book, as well as the first, middle, and second parts, are all written
"Crossing" as the theme. Part I
"Tadu" refers to the salvation of patients by modern medicine. The first of these, "The Return of Hell", is my own statement, recalling the process from illness to clinical cure; The next few articles are my experience of studying psychiatry after I recovered from my illness.
For patients with moderate or higher depression, accept
"Tadu", that is, the intervention of modern medicine, is indispensable. It's a belief in science. I hope that the book I wrote can make patients believe in science, face reality, actively seek treatment, and complete the salvation of modern medicine with a compliant attitude.
