Grasp the precious 100-year-old meal
The Buddha came to the world, turned three times in India, and there are countless countless small teachings, manifesting incredible teachings, proclaiming the ultimate path to liberation in life, benefiting us from the Dharma, so that we can practice according to the teachings he preached.
We now have the opportunity to listen to the teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha, and I don't know how many resources and blessings we have accumulated to mature today!
Encountering this rare opportunity, like
"A meal in a hundred years". Not to mention one meal in a hundred years, if we can only eat one meal in a day, then we will definitely cherish this meal very much, and even pick up a grain of rice that falls off and eat it.
Therefore, the meal in a hundred years has arrived, and when the Buddha comes to this world to preach the Dharma, we must make good use of this rare opportunity.
If you don't grasp such a good opportunity at this time, then it will be the same as the dark period when the Buddha did not come.
Just like now, even though the Buddha has come and the Dharma still exists, most people still haven't been able to really study the Dharma.
In fact, to enter the Buddhist sect is to learn to transform one's body, mouth and mind into the body and mouth of a Buddha and a Bodhisattva.
This is very difficult for ordinary people in a short period of time. Don't think that relying on the blessings of these masters, you can make all the delusions of ordinary people change immediately.
It's not so fast, and it takes the karma of two people to connect with each other before it can be slowly transformed. You have to put in the effort of your own efforts for the compassion of the Guru to have a real blessing on you.
There is a metaphor in Tibet: the cloth is dyed with white cloth, sometimes the dye is misplaced, when the cloth is taken out, although it cannot be dyed into the desired color, there will always be a color dyed on it, and it is impossible to be whiter than before it was put down.
Once we have faith, we have to let the Dharma work in our minds. If the Dharma does not have an effect on the mind, what is the difference between it and worldly learning?
Worldly knowledge can be used in the world, but when the Dharma does not have an effect on the mind, it is useless even in the world, and in the end it only becomes a tool to criticize others.
If you don't follow the Buddha's teachings and talk about others, you will be ridiculed and treated as a joke by others.
Because if you restrain others, others will restrain you. We can talk about the impermanence of life, including the impermanence of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, the impermanence of saints, and the impermanence of all things on the earth, etc., and so on, but we don't need to talk too much about it.
Because of an earthquake, many people died suddenly; Car accidents, natural disasters and man-made disasters often happen next to us.
So, the point of impermanence is not to talk about it, but to observe it, and out of it to generate true compassion.
If you don't have a very real and strong compassion, it's very difficult to change your nature. Because we often discipline others, we don't discipline ourselves, and all the Dharma we do becomes sin.
It is very important to always observe one's body, mouth, and mind, otherwise it would be empty talk to always say that we want to benefit others, and even to benefit all living beings in the world.
When one's body, mouth, and mind cannot be restrained, the benefit of sentient beings seems to become unattainable. We must not do it
"Buddha oil", because now that the turbid world is coming, it is difficult for us to have a good cause to learn Buddhism; Even if there are now, when the good causes are over, if there is no new cause to connect with, isn't the full human body wasted?
If we miss the fate of the Dharma blessings that we encounter in this life, then we are not only missing an opportunity, but we may also be missing the saving grace for the benefit of future lives.
The human body is rare and has been obtained now, and this is a full human body that can only be obtained by relying on the good fortune of many lifetimes to mature.
We have the fortune to hear the Dharma, know cause and effect, understand impermanence, and know that reincarnation can only be summed up by one bitter word, so if we don't wake up in time, the tears of compassion of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas can only sigh for us.
