Just as there are differences within Buddhism, such as Zen Buddhism, Tantric Buddhism, Tiantai Buddhism, Pure Land Buddhism, and so on, it cannot be said who is higher and who is inferior.
I said that Buddhism is always dead and not born, this is not a derogatory meaning, death here is not the meaning of death as everyone understands, but a kind of ultimate nirvana, the so-called impurity, not increasing or decreasing, this is also a kind of state, that is, the so-called perfection, called self-nature is sufficient.
So I hope you don't cause unnecessary controversy in this regard.

In fact, in my opinion, what I am talking about is something very ordinary, and I don't think there is anything bizarre.
When I say this, it's like people talk about where they've been and what they've done today.
But now the environment may not allow it, so for the sake of insurance, we will try to point to the end later, especially some of the content that everyone thinks is metaphysics, and we will not do too much extension, so that everyone knows what is going on.

Before, we talked about the concept of the Taoist, the dojo, and the joy of life.
Regarding the concept of the dojo, everyone should understand that the dojo does not mean how much you want to do in the world, or how high the position you want to achieve, so that the level of the dojo is higher, not like this.
Any little thing can be enlightened.
No matter what you do, as long as you do it well in your own ashram, you can go straight to the path.
The level of the Tao depends on the amount of your heavenly mind, not on your position in the world.
Zhuangzi was a small official in the lacquer garden, and Jiang Taigong was still fishing when he was eighty years old, but their level of understanding of the Tao was far higher than that of many people in the world.
And then there's the concept of the joy of life and the concept of disgust.
Let me give you an example.
For example, Fan Li, he once helped Goujian, the king of Yue, defeat Wu Wangfucha, but after that, he quit the temple and went to business, and became a merchant saint in business, and then he scattered all his family wealth and took Xi Shi to retreat together. This is the joy of his life.
In other words, as long as you are enlightened, no matter what you do, you can do it well.
Another example is the example of my master lighting the lamp, why did the Taoist pass away when he was more than a hundred years old? That's because he feels like he's done with what he has to do. King Kong's longevity skills have been passed on, and the source of Qi and the good prescription for helping the world have also been announced and circulated, so after the completion of the Huangzhong Palace, he left. This is done after doing what I want to do, so I go somewhere else.
For example, I am now teaching medicine, after I finish teaching in two years, I will have other things to do, and if other things are done, then I will be completely hidden.
There are also some people who have traveled in the world for too long and finally choose to go back. For example, Sun Simiao and Sun Zhenren traveled all over the country, helped people see doctors, wrote two books of daughters, and finally went back.
Everyone has their own things to do, and when he feels that there is nothing to do, or when many things have become a drag on him, he will choose to go and go somewhere else.
In fact, isn't life like this, such as many people in history, disgusted with officialdom, so they chose to retreat to the countryside and place their love on the joy of mountains and rivers. So China has always had a hermit tradition.
This is what it means to be happy.
The world is far bigger than we think, and there is more to the universe than just paradise on earth.
This is like the discovery of a new continent as people often say, when your ability is limited, you may only know about a village, a village, or a country, but when you are strong, you can go further and discover a new continent.
Some people say, what do those people eat? Just like you can burn wood for cooking at home, the energy required to go further away will naturally be different.
So why do we still have sacrifices?
In fact, the sacrifice is not for others to eat, but an expression of the mind.
Here I would like to talk to you about the concept of teacher and faith.
As Taoists, we are all people of the Tao. So what is a division? A teacher is a preacher.
After the Taoist ancestors and Taoist sects, those who have preached the Tao in the past generations can be called teachers.
A teacher is someone who helps you show you the way, but a teacher can't help you reach the Tao directly, and the Tao has to be done by yourself, so we say that everyone has to rely on themselves to practice the evidence.
That is to say, the Tao relies on self-cultivation.
Our devotion to the past teachers is based on faith, not prayer for blessings or blessings.
We worship anything because they show us the way, it comes from the respect and respect of the heart, so we say respect for heaven and earth, not a transaction, I worship you, you have to help me, help me get rich, help me find a good partner, help me have a son, etc., it's not like that.
This is the concept of honor. Be faithful, not superstitious.
This is also known as respecting the teacher.
Okay, let's start preaching. That is, how can we live forever, how can we be happy, and how can we achieve the joy of life? How can we be ourselves in our own ashram?
My teacher once gave me eight words, and today I will also give these eight words to you, that is: clear and good deeds, both successful and peaceful.
Let's talk about each of them here.
What is Ming? Clarity refers to seeing things as they are, that is, to see things as they are.
We often say that to be a person to understand people, to be a person to understand, which means to see what things to be able to see clearly, we only know the true situation of things, to see everything in the world clearly, so that we can determine our behavior, in order to know how we should behave.
So what is goodness? This goodness is not the goodness of good and evil, and it does not mean that everyone should be kind and do charity, but it refers to proper goodness and perfect goodness. Goodness means a good way, a way to do things in a thoughtful way.
Lao Tzu said that goodness is like water, it is like water, it can be given shape with things, and it can respond to things without being poor.
Nowadays, people always have a misunderstanding of goodness, and understand goodness as charity and kindness, but many times it becomes hypocrisy. In fact, the meaning of the word "goodness" itself refers to the meaning of good law and good law, but everyone misunderstands it.
Therefore, we should not talk about charity and hypocrisy, but about goodness. Enlightenment refers to the good way to take things as they are.
As it is, this is a clear statement, and you can be a clear person. There should be no end to things, which is good, and everything is done. This is what it means to be clear and good to do good.
So what does it mean to be at peace?
Only after people have achieved enlightenment and goodness, can they achieve inner stability no matter what they do, that is, the state of peace of mind and fearlessness mentioned in the Neijing, and at the same time, they can be at peace with everything and everything, which is called both success and peace.
Therefore, these eight words can be summed up as seeing things clearly, doing things with goodness, looking at the original, doing good deeds, and getting along.
This is my understanding of these eight words of teacher.
And only when a person has attained the state of peace can his mind be pure and stable, and then he can lay the foundation for his subsequent cultivation.
Think about it, if a person can't even do good deeds, his mind is uncertain every day, and he can't be at peace with people, things and things, then what is the way of cultivation?
This is the Tao I want to talk about, and it is also the principle and method of doing things for people in the Dao Sect.
So here, there is a problem, that is, what should we do if we can't see some things clearly?
What can we do if our own hearts are not at peace with each other, and we are not at peace with other people?
Cultivating is a kind of wisdom, and as your wisdom increases, some things will be solved naturally, but what should we do before we reach that high level?
This is the content of the Taoism that we will talk about next, that is, it is not enough for us to have the Fa, but also to have the Dharma.
As for the Daomen, there are five techniques, namely mountain, medicine, life, phase, and divination.
For example, what kind of problem does medical technology solve? If a person is sick all the time and is not in good health, then naturally he will not be able to feel at ease, and he will lose the foundation for further cultivation, so he will need a doctor to solve the problem at this time.
So what do we do when we can't see a lot of things clearly? Then Bu needs to be solved.
How we look at people, the sky, and the earth, and how we calculate the fortune and heavenly opportunities are the contents of fate and appearance.
How to further improve oneself and make one's level constantly improve is the content of the mountain.
In addition to these five techniques, there is another kind of spell, which is what we often call a spell, which is also a kind of Daomen technique. But this kind of thing is generally not included in the five techniques of the Daomen.
