However, if the professor can be benevolent, diligent and loving the people, and can achieve the four words of 'leniency towards others', he will not live up to his kindness. ”

His eyebrows furrowed, and he shouted, "Speak human words!"
Li Xiaochen's face fell, and he begged for mercy in a low voice: "The professor let me go." I won't dare next time. ”
Professor Chan also doesn't want to waste too much time lecturing. Seeing that he has a good attitude of admitting his mistakes, I have the heart to forgive him this time.
But in order not to lose the professor's face, he asked the question: "You think you understand very well, so you don't listen to my class, right? Okay, you can explain to me the meaning of these words on the blackboard." ”
The first sentence written on the blackboard was: People fight for a breath, and the Buddha receives a pillar of incense.
Li Xiaochen looked at it and laughed: "What does it mean for people to fight for a breath, I won't explain much." Everyone on earth knows it. What I'm going to say is, the second half. This is definitely the opinion of secular people. Everyone treats the Buddha as a god, and that's why there is such a saying. ”
"Oh? Professor Chan could tell that there seemed to be something else in his words.
Li Xiaochen said: "Buddhism is the Buddha's education of the perfection of all beings. It is education, not superstition. The Buddha never said that he was a god. If you look at the time when Shakyamuni Buddha was alive, like Confucius, he preached and taught the scriptures every day. He didn't engage in any of the god's talk. We must be clear about this. ”
Actually, the Buddha was the teacher. We learn from the Buddha and are his students. The Buddha statue enshrined in the temple was built by the students to commemorate the teacher. The Buddha is the teacher of the Three Realms and the enlightened sage, so how could he fight for that stick of incense? This statement undoubtedly regards the Buddha as an ordinary immortal. ”
"You must know that the bodhisattva has no mind, and has the heart of all living beings. Bodhisattvas have no thoughts, and they think of the thoughts of all beings. The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are thinking about all sentient beings, and there is absolutely no selfishness. You are selfish in your own heart, so it is also selfish to look at others. ”
These words made Professor Chen nod frequently. He couldn't help but admire in his heart: this student's insight is very thorough, rare, really rare.
Qin Yufei, who was sitting in the audience, also agreed.
Tang Yao saw that Li Xiaochen was happy when he said about the professor, and the big stone that had hung in his heart before was slowly put down.
And Xiaosha and Jiang Qinqin, hearing this statement for the first time, couldn't help but listen attentively to Li Xiaochen's remarks.
The second sentence on the blackboard is: Taoism talks about the present world. Buddhists talk about the afterlife.
After Li Xiaochen saw it, he laughed again: "This is also a fallacy. The person who says this does not understand the Dharma at all. That's right, Buddhism talks about cause and effect in three lifetimes. But how can these words make people feel that Buddhism only talks about the afterlife?"
"Cause is like a seed, and the fruit is naturally the fruit. The seeds are planted in the ground, and they need to be fertilized, watered, and carefully cared for in order to blossom and bear fruit. Before the retribution comes, there is also the flower retribution. That's what people call the Present World!"
"Who said that the Buddhists don't talk about the present world? Have you read the four precepts? The Yungu Zen master who pointed out Yuan Lifan is a disciple of the Buddhists. He taught Mr. Fan to change his fate. In this life, you will receive good rewards. Isn't this the newspaper of the present world? There is retribution in the afterlife. So this second sentence is also wrong. ”
The third sentence that follows is: Cultivation is against the sky.
After reading it, Li Xiaochen shook his head even more: "The person who said this must be someone who has read too many Xianxia novels." Who said that God does not allow ordinary people to practice to become immortals or recite the Buddha to die? Where is this against the heavens? Heaven and earth are unkind, and all things are used as dogs! Heaven has no relatives and is always with good people! These words show that the way of heaven is only a natural law and has no consciousness. ”
"What is heaven and what is Tao? Heaven is nature, and Tao is law. The way of heaven is the law of nature. Before we get into that, let's understand a few things. ”
"The true nature of human beings is no different from that of a Buddha. But it cannot be attained because of delusion, separation, and attachment. For example, our nature is the Muni Orb. All kinds of deep habits are dust. Now we are like pearls in the dust. The practice is to wipe away the dust and restore the original luster of the orb. ”
"Your family's god won't let you practice anymore? Is he jealous of you or is he afraid that you will surpass him? What a joke. ”
Some people may interpret the rebellion as "going against nature". Because the cultivator lives and dies for the sake of it, and transcends the six realms. So some people think that this is against the laws of nature. ”
"Okay, let me ask first, do you know where life and death and the six realms of reincarnation come from? What about immortals, can they really live forever?"
In those days with Jiang Mier, Li Xiaochen had read all kinds of books given by Jiang Mier. This aspect is well understood.
At that moment, he explained the truth to the teachers and students present.
First of all, the immortals or immortals, that is, the celestial beings, at the end of their lives, the five decay phases will appear:
On the one hand, the clothes are greasy, and the clothes worn by the heavenly beings are gorgeous and clean, spotless, and do not need to be washed. At the end of the blessings and the end of life, there is dirt;
Both, the corolla withered, the crown ornament worn by the celestial man, very solemn and good-looking, in the blessing of the end, the end of life, naturally withered;
Three, sweat under the armpits, the body of the celestial man is delicate and fragrant, never sweating, and when the blessings are exhausted and the end of life, there is sweat flowing out of the armpits;
Fourth, the body is filthy, and the heavenly beings practiced seriously in the past and strictly adhered to the precepts, so there is a precept incense on the body, and the fragrance is fragrant. At the end of his life, the body releases the smell of dead corpses;
Five, unhappy in this seat, heaven and man are always in the center, such as not moving. However, after perceiving that the four decaying phases of his body had appeared, he knew that his death was approaching, and his heart was flustered, and his delusions were full of delusions, and he could not live in the middle of concentration, fidgeting, and finally died.
After the death of celestial beings, they also suffer from the six realms of reincarnation.
The Heavenly Path, the Humane Path, the Asura Path, the Animal Path, the Evil Ghost Path, and the Hell Path—these six realms actually appear with the karma of sentient beings.
When Shakyamuni Buddha preached the Sutra of Amitayus, Venerable Ananda once asked: If there is no Mount Meru in the Western Elysium, then where do the Four Heavenly Kings and the Heavenly Celestial Heavens dwell?
The Buddha asked Ananda: Where do you live in the night sky, the Tushi heaven, and even the color-realm and the colorless-realm?
Ananda replied: Exists because of the inconceivable karma of sentient beings.
From this, it can be seen that the six realms of reincarnation are not created by any god or immortal, but by the karma of each person himself. Everything is cause and effect.
Sentient beings have created the karmic causes of the hell path before they are born, and if they do not have a clear thought at the end of their lives, they will be pulled by karma and fall into the hell path to suffer.
In the "Jizo Bodhisattva Sutra", the previous life of the Jizo Bodhisattva long ago - a brahmin woman, with great filial piety, in order to save the mother who fell into the evil path, widely cultivated and made offerings, and sincerely recited the name of Juehua Dingzi Wang Rulai.
After one day and one night, the mind is not disturbed, and you have to recite the Buddha's samadhi. Break through the dimensional dimension of space and go to hell for a tour.
When she saw the non-poisonous ghost king, between the answers, the brahmin woman asked herself why she could go to hell?
The non-poisonous ghost king told her that if she was not a powerful god, she would need karma. Otherwise, it will never happen.
It can be seen that there are two kinds of people who can go to hell.
One is a bodhisattva who has great compassion and goes to hell to save sentient beings who suffer sins, and the other is a sinner who suffers from sin.
From this, we can see that the hellish path is indeed realized by the karma of sentient beings. And the same is true of the other ways.
Western Elysium is a special place, embolized by the power of Amitabha Buddha's great compassion, and is a meeting place for all good people.
It does not have the causes of the six realms, so naturally there are no six realms.
Therefore, cultivating immortals is not a move against the sky, as described in many novels. But it's just a matter of practice and karma.
